First off, huge points to the super friendly and helpful staff. Even though you order at the counter, the team goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and answer any questions you may have. Second, the burgers were fantastic! We got the ABC burger and the Shroom burger, both which were delicious. Plus, their selection of sauces is impressive (so many to choose from & no extra charge - major bonus!). While you are definitely paying more on the premium side for a burger, it is well worth it! The food here is great. The rest of this review is for the owner. Today the restaurant is understaffed and doesn't have any condiments or napkins out. There's consistently been a line of people waiting at the counter just for napkins and sauces. An employee told me "yeah, management gets weird about the napkins." Don't be penny wise but pound foolish. You can manage it better and reduce customer frustration. read more

Excellent customer service by LuLu! When our food came out, the fries were steaming hot, but our burgers were barely warm. We just asked if we could get the burgers warmed up, but LuLu insisted on having new burgers made and gave us an order of complimentary fries. Had the BEST experience this week from start to finish. It was our first time trying a new burger spot and their menu looked amazing with so many unique options. I appreciate the menu on a floor stand as you enter. That way, there was no pressure to decide at the counter, and you can look at all the choices without holding up the line! He chose the French Onion Soup Burger. It came with a dish of French Onion au jus for dipping, which was a nice touch. His selected the Cookies and Brownies shake. It was tasty, but I would have liked a larger portion. My lunch was the Short Rib Grilled Cheese. So yummy on the Parmesan-crusted sourdough! We split the Chili Cheese Fries, minus the tomato and onion. Burgers are available in Beef, turkey, chicken, and veggie. Choice of 5 different buns, and tons of condiments and loaded toppings. (Can you tell I like a lot of variety?) In addition to burgers and sandwiches, the menu also includes salads, wraps, and hot dogs. Located in the former Panera Bread on Jamboree and Irvine Bl with pleasant outdoor dining shaded by patio umbrellas as well as ample indoor seating. If you have a burger craving, this is the place to go. The burger alone is 5 stars: great taste, satisfying portion, cooked to your preference, with good ingredients. I didn't know there was a Stand in Tustin. I visited the Irvine location a few times. My experience at this Tustin location was far better than the Irvine one. I ordered their special: jalapeño bacon burger ($13.50). My friend ordered the ABC burger ($13.25), a side of fries ($3.75), and a fountain drink. They ask your preference for the doneness of the Patty, and bring the food to your table. The drink station is located inside the dining area, so sodas are refillable. The dining area is large, with big screen TVs and spacious booth seatings. The jalapeño bacon burger was so good. It had the right amount of jalapeño, and a spicy one at that. I got the patty well-done but it was still juicy. The bacon was thick enough and wasn't limp; it held its crunch despite the heat of the burger. The portion was enough to satisfy a very hungry woman. My friend also enjoyed the ABC burger (avocado, bacon, cheddar), but the amount of avocado was tiny. They were thin slices that didn't even cover the tomato slice. The Stand fries were good. Skin-on, not overly greasy, and thick enough to give you that satisfying bite. If you download their app and sign up for their rewards program, they give you the Stand fries for free. I would definitely return. It hits the right spot when you want a gourmet burger but don't want to pay the table-service restaurant dollars. read more

Had been to the encino location but was so excited to see one in OC! Got their veggie bliss burger and WOW it's delicious and probably one of the best burgers I've had. We also got a regular side of onion rings and fire fries and a blueberry lemonade and our total was under $40 which i thought was pretty reasonable for what we got. The regular side portions are pretty generous. Highly recommend giving this place a try. This location is huge so no shortage of seating space both indoor and outdoor. Food came out quickly! I actually enjoyed this sandwich. I know the fish is supposed to be cold, but I just wasn't used to it. It DID take several bites to get used to it! Even during peak hours for lunch and dinner, there is only 1 person on the register and nobody to bus tables. This means there is no where clean to sit. The workers all seem stressed out and for good reason. Feel really bad for the workers. The owners are trying to improve their margins by understaffing and the customers and workers are the ones getting punished. read more

I walked in and everything felt super clean which made me feel confident that the kitchen would also be as clean. While I waited, Lulu, who was at the front counter struck up a conversation with me and she was soooo friendly! After taking part in an elite event here, I returned a couple days later with friends for lunch. This new location is in a plaza with plenty of parking. The interior is spacious and there is additional seating in a patio area. I ordered a Stand Burger, fries, and a chocolate milkshake. This is a fast casual place where you order at the counter and they bring your food to your table in a few minutes (they cook to order). My Stand Burger was cooked medium (at my request) and was juicy with a delicious char flavor. The pickles, lettuce, tomato, and burger sauce all complemented the beef to put this in the league of my most favorite burgers. The fries were perfectly done and I really like the seasoning they use. The chocolate shake is as good as it gets. Unless you're lactose intolerant I highly recommend you enjoy a milkshake when you're here. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. They guide you through their menu if you're a first-timer and do a darn fine job of keeping the dining area shiny and clean. Excellent burger location!! I have been to this chain a few times in the past. At different locations. Fortunately, this one is super close to home! The others have been a bit of a drive. The location is great: plenty of parking, plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. The inside feels very spacious. We arrived for an early dinner on Sunday and we were able to grab one of this nice, spacious booths. I ordered the ABC burger (avocado, bacon, & cheese) burger and a side of Stand fries. I was told the burger was made medium but that I could have it cooked a different way. I requested medium-well. The burger was ready super quick and cooked perfectly! It was also super delicious and the fries were incredibly fresh. Normally, I am not bacon fan but this bacon was nice and crispy and worked really well with the burger. The service was incredible. Everyone was warm and welcoming and they gave out free samples of the hand made potato chips. Which, by the way, are very good. If you aren't feeling fries I would go with the potato chips. The Short Rib Grilled Cheese was so good. It has the sweet, salty, crunchy, meaty, all in one bite. It's made with chipotle and beer braised beef short rib, triple cheddar cheese, bacon tomato jam, crispy onion rings, hickory sauce, and the amazing Parmesan crusted sourdough bread! The sandwich is also loaded with meat which makes this even more amazing. This is a must order sandwich! I thought about ordering the fries, but I knew I had to try out their onion rings. That first bite into the onion ring was so delicious. The onion inside breaks apart easily which means I get the light crispy outside and a bite of onion which is perfect. You won't have to worry about the entire onion coming out on your first bite or having to fight the onion inside like other random places that have not great onion rings. The blueberry lemonade was also delicious, and the blueberry flavor is unique and brings a nice balance to the lemonade tartness. The Cookie Butter Crunch Handmade shake is made with local vanilla soft serve. The milkshake was the right amount of sweetness, has a lighter and creamier taste. I felt like I could keep drinking this nonstop. The location is also beautiful and has a modern vibe. There is plenty of seating inside the restaurant and also additional seating for those that want to enjoy the nice weather. There are also 4 big screen TVs around the restaurant. There's so many food options for all different taste buds. They have lots of unique burgers, sandwiches, salads, wraps, fries, rings, sides, desserts, shakes, craft beer, and wine. I hope it stays this way even after they've been open a while. It's rare to find a burger spot that also makes good salads. Normally, it's a good burger with mediocre salad option or extremely heavy salads. Husband and I usually disagree on what to eat and while I do love a food burger, it's not something I like to eat often. Tonight was one of those nights and we both left satisfied, having gotten to eat what we each wanted. My ahi salad was super filling - the bowl they use is huge! The ingredients were all fresh and the ahi tuna was perfectly cooked and tender. I do think they overdid it with the crispy onions but I'll chalk that up to them being generous and just ask for light onions next time. Next visit, I'm getting a burger!
