However, the food is just alright tasting. The amount of food that you get for the price is very little, especially the salmon bowl which is $18. Their unsweetened black tea tastes good. However, on my most recent visit, they ran out of the regular sized cups and gave us a small kiddie sized drink cup which dissapointed me. read more

The Stand on Jamboree is always a great option when you need a good lunch/dinner spot. Burgers are always juicy, nestled between two soft brioche buns. The fire fries are absolutely fire! If you like spicy, try these out! It's the regular fries topped with their spicy sauce. Beers on tap are always great!! I go for the liquid candy Hazy IPA every single time. Sweet potato crisscut crisp fries, not crisp but soggy cold yuk fries. How do you screw that up? Onion rings. Same. Good soggy, and all batter no onions. Smh. Fries same. Cold Not crisp. Soggy. The Mac and cheese was ok. But cold again. Now the chicken sandwich, it was a sliver of a piece of chicken. No bacon avocado. I expected things falling out of it. I had to add the sauce just to make it palatable. So conclusion. Order and burger and don't get the sides delivered. To pay 78.00 for four meals and another 30.00! In DoorDash fees and tip. TLDR: The name of the restaurant did not lie. They have food that's known with a twist that takes you somewhere else visually but keeps things within the world of creative familiarity. Southwest Chicken Wrap: I don't know how to describe it. All I know is that it's good by itself and even better with the chili aioli. The chicken, cheese, guac, romaine, and whatever else they threw in there was a good mix. The tortilla chips provided a nice crunchy texture, and the tomato tortilla was a nice change of color to wrap things up. My 1 complaint regarding this wrap is the lack of quality control. I've ordered this enough times to notice that the size will vary. I'm saddened when the wrap looks and feels smaller. Otherwise, this is a very good lunch option. The burger portions are pretty generous - I got the onion stack and it was good, no complaints, but I wasn't as wowed as I thought I would be. There's definitely some other burgers that I want to go back to try. My friends ordered the French onion burger and really enjoyed that so I might try that or the bleu cheese one next time. Pros- Nice location Did a fundraiser with our school! Clean Cooked to order- they ask what temperature you want your burger! Ahi tuna salad was so good!! Minus a star for- They forgot the avocado on my salad I think they charged an extra dollar for ranch and didn't warn me about that (it was for my son's kid's meal that was charged more than my other son's meal) Food takes a while to come out but they were pretty busy. We came here on a Saturday for lunch and we had a good time and enjoyed some good food here. When we arrived the place wasn't too crowded yet (we just beat the lunch rush hour by 30 minutes). The place can get busy and there was a line by lunch time. The good thing is that there are plenty of seats and tables for those who are enjoying the food in the restaurant. We ordered the short ribs grilled cheese, some onion rings and mac n cheese for the sides. The grilled cheese is stuffed with cheese and delicious short ribs. Each bite was savory and delicious! The onion rings have the perfect crisp and the mac n cheese is cheesy and topped with delicious bread crumbs on top. They have so many sauces to choose from for your dipping needs. To introduce and treat my husband a nice burger for lunch around Irvine, I did some research and found this casual restaurant. What stood out most of this place was the wide selections of burgers they have. It was during lunch time so I expected a large crowd but it wasn't that bad. The huge menu at the entrance was helpful and a little bit overwhelming at the same time because they weren't only serving burgers, which the burger menu itself was pretty big. I had to stand in front of the menu for a long time trying to figure out and it seemed like I wasn't the only one since many people couldn't easily go to the cash register to order. We ordered ABC burger, jalapeno bacon burger and chili fries to share. Later, we were curious of the shakes as well so we ordered cookies n' cream shake as a dessert. I would say that the shake was the best out of all the things we ordered since the chunks of Oreos on top were pretty nice with the smooth milkshake. The burgers were great but there wasn't anything really special about them as well as the fries. Service was wonderful except that we asked no onions on the chili fries but it was still there. Also, we have been told that large chili fries is enough to share so we went with it but it was not. The price seems high for what you get. The fries are not included so you have to order separately. Sent my son to pick up a to go order. -Short Rib Grilled Cheese (extremely greasy) -Chinese Chopped Salad (dressing is delicious) -Meyer Lemon Broccolini (extremely overcooked and limp) We called and Mo agreed to refund the side dish. I asked my son to return it to him so they can improve that dish. Vegetables should be cooked al dente only and sautéed in garlic butter with a vibrant color and bite to it. Overall, staff is friendly but food could improve and they can be gracious when explaining it to them. Weston was a bit condescending when the veggie was returned and explained. Slightly better than the Long Beach location, but I still left unsatisfied to the point where I almost wanted to use a random number generator to decide between 2 and 3 stars. Although my experience clearly could've been better, I chose the OK rating instead of "Could've been better" on Yelp. I had been to The Stand in Long Beach earlier this year and was so underwhelmed at literally every single aspect of my visit that it was a super disappointing end to what was already a busy day full of this and full of that. Surely, the Tustin location couldn't possibly do worse, right?! Well, maybe not necessarily worse, but definitely not better enough for me to understand how the place was pretty busy during the last hour of operation on Thursday. A line had formed on the left wall, and there were plenty of customers inside enjoying a nice dinner on an evening with the TVs showing a softball game and some basketball highlights. I was intent on ordering a Turkey and Veggie Burger to make $20 and redeem the $5 off offer for this month. This offer is only available at select locations, including Tustin and Long Beach, but not Whittier. However, it can only be redeemed once overall, not per location. There is a menu that greets you as you walk in, but the line wasn't long enough for me to stand in front of that menu. However, the line was long enough that I had a difficult time reading the menu above the front counter, even when I took photos of the menu to try to read it better. The way the menu was laid out also hindered my experience. Marcos was working the register at the far end of the front counter, which was opposite the end of the menu that shows the BYO burgers, but I couldn't see the list of condiments very well from that register. As a result, I had to snap another photo of the list of condiments and recite from there which condiments I wanted in my burgers. To make things easier for Marcos, I chose the same condiments for both burgers, but didn't realize until well after that I had forgotten to mention the word "aioli"! Perhaps another reason for my oversight was the front counter being void of pickles and chips, which I remembered seeing at the Long Beach location. I asked Marcos about those, and he mentioned since they were going to close soon, they weren't giving them out anymore. It was ~40 minutes before closing. I don't think it was *that* close to closing time, but he did say he'd get me some. Marcos estimated between 15 and 20 minutes for my order to be ready. Plenty enough time for him to fetch me some chips and pickles, but instead, he went to make shakes for other customers. I thought he would have stayed true to his word, but he never did. The wait was 20 minutes before a different employee called my name. She didn't seem appreciative of my business either. Perhaps they know who their regulars are and treat them like members of the bourgeoisie or aristocracy; I felt like a member of the peasantry instead. I ordered the burgers to go because I had a feeling they would have kicked me out if I was still eating inside at 9 PM. I was pleased they actually labeled the boxes Turkey and Veggie so I'd know which was which, but I wish the font sizes were bigger. It was so small you might need a magnifying glass! Even without the sauces, the burgers were somewhat better than what I had in Long Beach, but definitely not mind-blowing. The complimentary vegetable toppings didn't add a whole lot of flavor for each burger. I found it a little annoying upon opening both boxes that I had to turn the burgers around to actually see the inside since I usually let my phone eat first. And lastly, when I went to take a photo of the menu QR code right next to the front door, I saw Marcos at the front door. I was hoping he'd remember to give me some pickles and chips like he promised or at least wish me a good evening, but he instead shut the door almost in my face, practically failing to acknowledge my presence from a mere feet away. I guess that is symbolic of how truly my patronage is valued at The Stand. I almost gave 2 stars for an experience like this, but I chose to bump it up to 3 because, like I said, the burgers tasted better than at the Long Beach location, so that had to count for something. Plus, forgetting and forgoing the sauces when I had the chance(s) was on me; I thought they would have been annoyed if I had asked well after ordering or that they would have said no if I was already snubbed out of complimentary chips and pickles. I also believe that The Stand in general is more deserving of a 5 out of 10 rather than 4 out of 10, and since I had already given 2 stars to the Long Beach location, I figured there was barely enough to give 3 here. To sum it all up: Did I feel valued as a customer? No Did any of the burgers knock my socks off? No Was I surprised at answering no to the two questions above? No Will I return to this location? No, and that's even if I lived in Tustin or close by. read more

The Food was pretty good, our family ordered 2 different made-to-order burgers (beef-which was actually made how asked, medium-rare, and chicken), onion rings (slightly burnt but still good), and a kids Mac n Cheese + sweet potato fries, both yummy.
