I love, love The Style House. Their location in downtown Frisco is easy to get to and I love that it is a historic home converted into a salon that is beautiful, eclectic and welcoming. The Style House is more than just a salon. They carry boutique clothing and shoes. They also have skin care items have a nail technician and an eyelash extension artist there as well. I want to give a shout out to the sweet young lady with blonde hair who works at the front of the house. Although I'm not a hair client, she always chats with me and even helped me pick out a hair product for my dry blonde hair while I was waiting for my eyelash fill. She is always smiling and makes my visit to The Style House even better. read more

Well I had high hopes to get my hair done by them, as I just moved here & was looking for a new stylist & I came across a lady that had stunning blonde at HEB and got her stylist number & texted and called the Salon and left a message with the receptionist & still haven't received a call back from them. Stephanie did my hair and makeup for a Christmas party recently, she was able to squeeze my appointment in at the very last minute. She was super sweet and made me feel like a princess. The style house is an adorable little salon, the decor is awesome, they also have a mini boutique up front with shoes, clothes, lotion, etc. I only wish I had more time to check out all the cute things they sold in their boutique area. read more

I've seen Ashely Burkhardt here quite a few times and I adore her! She's done my Brazilian Blowout a handful of times (her price on the BB cannot be beat!) and she's also done color (ombre, and all over color) and cuts. She always does what I ask and is also good at suggesting what SHE thinks looks good because a girl like myself DEFINITELY needs some help in that department. I always get a ton of compliments on my hair after she does it. :) I love the interior of the style house, and all their cutesy clothes! The location is great for me; super convenient to where I live and Ashley is always really great about fitting me into her schedule! Check her out, you'll love her too! read more

DON'T USE STEPHANIE!!!! I just recently moved to this area and have been searching for a good hair studio that could be my go-to. I had an amazing hair stylist in Dallas, but it's too far for me now. I decided I would book an appointment with The Style House since most of the reviews are really good. Plus, the place looks really cute! So, I tried calling them a couple days ago to schedule my appointment. No answer. I called them three time that day and no one answered!! So yesterday, I tried calling them again because I really needed my hair done today. NO ANSWER!!! I ended up leaving them a detailed message since their answering machine said they would call me right back. Hours later I get a TEXT. No call, just a text from STEPHANIE. After I said exactly what I wanted in my message to them, she asked me what I wanted again. I explained it to her again in a text. Three hours went by, and NO RESPONSE!!! So I called them again and someone finally answered and she said, "oh, were you the one who left a message this morning?" I said, "Yes" she said "Stephanie was supposed to call you, did she yet?" I said "no, that's why I'm calling you again. I need my hair done tomorrow and haven't been able to get ahold of you guys." A minute later Stephanie text me back and said she had an opening for me to come today and asked me if I could send a picture of what I wanted. So I sent two pictures to her, but never heard back from her!!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE person and company!!! Don't USE STEPHANIE!!! If someone doesn't have the decency to call and schedule an appointment with me, well they're DEFINITELY not going to be touching my hair!!! SO DISAPPOINTED!!! read more

I went to Style House for the first time today and Eyup did my haircut. I love it! I don't really go in with any specific idea because I like to trust the stylists ideas and I'm glad I did! He asked me before doing anything different so he was very considerate. I love getting my hair done by someone who is very passionate about what they do and he was. I already made an appointment to get my hair colored with Eyup. Definitely 10/10 would recommend him! read more

Macey is amazing! She keeps me and my hubby shined up like a new penny. With naturally curly hair, my mop can get out of control and not every stylist knows how to work with it. Figured it was about time for another update since my last review was 2 years ago. I've still been going to Lauren at Style House regularly for the last 2 years! I live in San Francisco and make sure to schedule my trips home so I can go see her when I'm there. Lauren does my highlights and extensions and does an incredible job. Even though I live 1800 miles away, I simply can't bring myself to go to anyone else because she does such great work. I never leave Lauren's chair feeling anything but elated about how my hair looks. No matter what I want--a little lighter, a little darker, a little shorter-- I always get exactly what I came for. Lauren also always goes out of her way to curl my hair when I'm done just to make sure I leave feeling as beautiful and happy as possible! I never even have to ask. Besides my hair always glowing with perfection when I'm done, Lauren is a sweetheart. I spend 3 hours at a time with her and I love very minute. She also makes scheduling and remembering my appointments super easy. When it comes to my hair, I want someone that's damn good at her job, reliable, and caring, and that's EXACTLY what Lauren is. The salon itself is also really cute. I am always greeted with a much needed cup of coffee when I get there, and everyone that works there is incredibly nice. This is the place to go in DFW and Lauren is the person to see. It's worth the drive even if you aren't super close. You won't regret it :-) read more

I recently had my hair done at the style house. I absolutely loved my stylist and the lady at the front desk was so kind and they both made sure I was well attended to. So impressed. The problem I had and was with who I was told is the owner. While I was there (I'm very observant) I noticed the owner being incredibly rude to the front desk lady. Very unkind in the way she spoke to her and about her when she wasn't around. The sweet lady, who by the way never stopped cleaning, helping clients, attending to customers...came out of the back room and bathroom a few times and look as if she had been in tears. I was very upset for her and just cannot support a company that treats the employees like this. If she is ok with treating her this way when customers are around (I'm sure she thought no one was paying attention or noticed her behavior) it makes you wonder how she treats them when no one is around. Just awful to witness. I won't be going back. read more

Beware of purchasing services from Claudia of The Style House! I scheduled an appointment for a certain time, got a text asking to move it 30 minutes later which was no problem, and I agreed. Then on my way to the salon, I got a text saying she felt ill and she had to cancel. Since the flu is spreading rapidly, I replied sending well wishes and told her to let me know when she feels and we could re-schedule. I hadn't heard from her so I text and did not receive a response. I waited and text again and a week later again with no response. I never heard from her again. Of course I got my money back due to lack of service. But this is not a way to treat customers or build clientele. read more

I was immediately greeted when I walked in and offered a drink. The atmosphere was cozy and every employee I encountered made me feel welcome. I was referred to Ashley by a good friend, and I am so glad I took her advice! Ashley is super friendly and was able to get me in last minute smack-dab in the middle of a holiday! Unheard of! Right in the middle of Main Street in a beautiful old Victorian style home, this salon is very convenient for me as it's right on my way home from work and close to several really good restaurants. Ashley seriously does one of the fastest coloring/partial highlight jobs I have ever had...It probably took her 15 minutes at the most to get me in the chair and apply the colors and get me processing. And, I was also pleasantly surprised to be offered a glass of wine while I waited :) My one and ONLY complaint is that I was either scheduled at the same time as someone else or the previous appointment ran over...either way I sat by myself with dripping hair for a good amount of time. BUT, I mean it was right before the holiday and everyone else, just like myself, was trying to get in at the last minute. Sometimes that happens and ya gotta give em' some slack. So, I will go back to the Style House to visit Ashley as soon as I need my next check-up or maybe even a gift from their adorable gift shop at the front. read more

Extremely professional and very good at his job but be prepared for a hefty price tag. He colored, cut and highlighted. It's probably the best cut I've ever had in my life. read more

Love most of the girls here just don't go to Whitney. She did a terrible job on my hair the one and only time I tried her but she usually does a pretty decent job on my four year old so I kept going to her DESPITE the fact that she was consistently either a no-show or late to our appts without apologizing. Today my son got a 5 minute trim from her and it's totally crooked. Plus she charged me $25 for the few snips she did do AND kept us waiting 20 minutes for her. This and her bad attitude will definitely keep me from going back here or referring my friends. read more

I've been going to Macey for years. She always listens to my crazy ideas and thoughts and ALWAYS makes my hair exactly the way i wanted...and sometimes i'm not even sure what i wanted when i walked in there. I trust her judgement completely when she makes suggestions. She cuts the hair of my entire family. I have a toddler that isn't quite 2 yet and has already had 4 haircuts by Macey. Her patience and professionalism is what makes her the BEST! She really does care about her clients and her work. i don't know that i would trust my child (or my own head of hair) to anyone else. read more
