What a fun spot. Note that this is the Belltown location and it is a bit of a construction zone as they construct new businesses around all of the new housing developments. There is parallel parking in front but if you go past the building with Soccer Taco and Sugar Queen, take a right and then an immediate right again into a lot in back (there is an entrance into the shop back there as well).
Inside is a tad cozy with a bit of indoor seating, including a bar for single ice cream patrons to enjoy. There is also ample seating outside. There is an interior wall almost entirely covered with freezers containing take home pints, ice cream cakes, and even some dairy free ice cream sandwiches. The menu itself is pretty expansive, albeit a tad pricey. They carry a number of regular flavors, rotating seasonal and dairy-free flavors. Many very unique flavors like London Fog and Hibiscus, as well as reliable cookie dough and peanut butter Oreo (this flavor was a star).
They were well-staffed and served us kindly and quickly. Our family of five ordered two, 2-scoop waffle cones, a cookie dough sundae, a 4-scoop ice cream flight, and an affogato (without whipped cream or the syrups). We also got two soft pretzels with beers cheese and herbed cream cheese to split.
The 2 scoop cones were way too big for our 9-year-olds (probably for most people, honestly). The waffle cones were freshly made and delish. Our son ordered the sundae and had to bring home half. It is definitely a treat that can be split. My husband got the flight and loved the PB Oreo and the butter pecan. I got the affogato with just the scoop of ice cream and shot of espresso and it was tasty. Not sure it was worth 7+ dollars, though. The pretzels were enormous and fluffy and we liked the beer cheese best. We definitely could have split one to go with our ice cream treats. Our lactose intolerant kiddo loved the cookies and cream DF flavor. The counter also sold lactaid tabs for $1 each, as an FYI if you make an impromptu visit and need one.
Lastly, we grabbed a slice of Reese's cheesecake to-go for a different day. Rich and tasty and large enough to split. We will be back! read more
