Straight to my size and the associate also helped in picking out the shades of the color I wanted. Try out the suit in front of a huge mirror. So I really had a great experience here!! I was in a rush to pickup a suit for a wedding. Running in like a maniac, I bumped into badshah, the manager. Immediately he told me "I will get you a suit to die for!" Sure enough, he got me the perfect suit, but they didn't fit ( yeah I ve gained some weight ). I am a rookie suit buyer and wearer. I came here to purchase my first suit ever for a wedding. So not really knowing how to shop for a suit the man Jay really helped me out. He took his time with me and brought out several suits that he thought would look nice on me. I picked out a really nice Calvin Klein black suit. It looked great on me and he took my measurements write away so they could tailor it that very night at no extra charge. The price of the suit was a good one, 250$ marked down from 499$. I love a good bargain. They also have shoes, shirts, ties, and anything that has to do with a suit. Very convenient. The suit was ready the next day. Walked in and visited due to my brother having an upcoming interview and he needed a new look. I did not want to deal with salesmen who were pushy and overpowering so for every suit my brother tried on, I was very crucial on fit and price. In my honest opinion, the suits look amazing on mannequins and given the right size, you'll walk out of here looking like a GQ model. I don't like the customer service as much. The older gentleman with blonde hair came off kind of snobby and I was quick to squash him out (not dealing with attitudes or bs). The other man at the cashier however was nicer. A previous review stated that alterations were given free of charge but my brother was charged and had it not been for his positive experience and choice of suit, I would have argued but.. I am not the type at all to write a Yelp review - this is actually my very first review. My primary use for Yelp was to find a good place to eat for dinner. But after my experience at The Suit Store Outlet, I felt like I NEEDED to write a review. My fiancé and I came into the store today to find a nice, navy suit for upcoming interviews. We were immediately greeted by Barry Jackson and our experience just kept getting better and better. First of all, he is by far the sharpest dresser I have ever met. So I knew we were in good hands. He directed us to multiple navy suits and listened to every request we had. He was able to find a very nice suit, but it was a little out of our price range. And instead of trying to push us into buying the suit, he was able to find a comparable suit that was within our budget. The whole time we were there, we never felt pressured to buy anything. He was kind and hilarious. He answered all of our questions and knew when to give us space so that we were able to have a private discussion. I needed a suit for an upcoming wedding. Went to the Paramus location Saturday after Black Friday. For 11:30am was fairly busy but was helped promptly by Mark Mariniello. He introduced himself took a chest measurement and we were off looking for suits. Tried a couple of them on found one I liked needed to have it let out a bit to fit properly and arranged tailoring, I was in an out of the store in under 30 minutes does not get better than that. I was looking to refresh my wardrobe and went into the Suit Store in Paramus. Great service and great prices. Robert, who helped me was the same guy in their commercials, he put together some amazing outfits for me. I am constantly receiving compliments on my outfits each time I wear the items they put together for me. I was in an out with several different suits and casual outfits all under an hour. A true polyester palace...anything not made of fossil fuels will run you at least $199 but beware of the slim pickins as your budget goes north and your expectations go towards actually recognizable brands and materials that didn't begin life as carbon based "extras" in Jurassic Park...so why 3 stars? First, their polyester "suitings" are impressive(I saw 3 moths lying in the floor dying from polyester poisoning so i obviously wasn't the only one fooled)plus the people ARE helpful...as long as they think they can make a sale...when I asked a salesperson if they had anything 100% Wool that was under $199...he said no and that was the last I saw of him...but up until that point he was helpful...if u like polyester even when it's not a John Waters film...welcome to Nirvana read more

I came in today based off the great reviews this store has, and boy was I not let down. A nice gentleman that goes by the name Ammar helped me out tremendously. I let him know that I got a new job and I wanted a new suit to fit the position, and after giving him a few details he picked out a beautiful suit for me. Not only that, but he also let me know what color shirts and ties compliment the suit best. They tailored my suit and within an hour I got the call that it was ready for pickup and when I tried it on, it was perfect!! I was so satisfied with my experience that I bought a few shirts, ties and socks to go along with my other suits as well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE!!!!! Purchase portion of the suit went well, very attentive employee (don't know his name). The fitting also went well and it seemed the tailor was very particular about making sure it looked perfect, and after pick up it did. Payment: my fault for not asking, but I wasn't aware of the price of the shirt, tie, and pocket square that I liked until we hit the register. The tailoring prices are ridiculous! Almost an extra $80 just for tailoring. Pickup: this is what killed me. Of the four employees in the store, three were gainfully employed, and one was on his cell phone. He looked at me while talking on the phone and gave me that "what do you need look". I attempted to unfold my receipt and he snatched it from my hands. Rude. Then he asked me to follow him and before I could see which way he went, poof gone. I found him near the tailors room and he asked me to try it on and walked away. I put it on, and checked the mirror, looks great, but I'm not a suit guy I was looking for some guidance. Far by the register I see the cell phone guy looking at me, and he turns around and disappears again. I hung the suit back on its hanger and walked right passed him after he emerged and left the store (with the suit of course). No thank you, no have a nice day, not even a suit bag (it was raining). So the South Asian male there, you need some work. I doubt this will have affect on business there, but c'mon man, how do you just ignore a customer. And don't snatch, plain rude. read more

For those of us who have been mourning the loss of Syms as a refuge for reasonably priced quality mens' suits, tuxes, shirts and shoes...the wait is finally over. The Suit Store which recently opened on Route 4 in Paramus is truly a breath of fresh air. Enormous selection of suits in sizes ranging from slim to big like me, and most impressive of all, personal attention from staff which actually listens and knows their stuff. As a big guy looking to buy one suit, I landed up with 3 business suits, including alterations for under $600.....well under what one would pay for one suit at a department store or Brooks Brothers outlet....where you often are forced to plead for assistance. Cannot praise this place and it's manager Mr Alamgir too highly.... finally....our long wait is over. read more

I walked in wearing crocs, tshirt, sweatpants, messy hair, and non shaven due to working from home during Covid. Amar did not judge! He was super helpful and informative about the suits I was buying. I realize the price of suits have an astronomical markup (guessing 200%-500%) but Amar's customer service made me feel just a hair better about my purchase which is very hard to do. Time to write this overdue review of the Suit Store. A week ago Wednesday, I go to try on my custom tailored suit from two years ago (note I don't wear suits often) and notice my gut has yet again outgrown a pair of pants. To begin with I dread shopping for many reasons, mainly the difficulty of finding something in my size (size too FAT). I desperately do a google search for a suit store that offers options in my plus size and is affordable since I will only wear this suit a few times. I was very fortunate to find the suit store on google and then deciced to look it up on yelp for reviews, looked promising so I went in Friday morning at 10am when they opened. When I walked in I immediately liked the open feel of the store filled with aisles of very nice suits at jaw dropping prices. I could not believe how inexpensive the suits and sport coats were given the quality. Keep in mind I am not comparing this place to a place like Brooks Brothers however if you compare it to mens warehouse it is FAR better. In short I was in and out of the store in 30 minutes, alterations were completed for evening pick up. The store manager who (name is Badsha) assisted me was outstanding, very professional and amazingly was able to find me great suit in my size in a matter of minutes. I have never had a pleasant and comfortable experience purchasing a suit till I found this place. Again the prices were so inexpensive I purchased the suit, a dress shirt, tie, shoes, socks, including the alterations costs all for under five hundred. Oh in case you are wondering why no belt on my purchase list, well that was the only thing they did not have that fit my fat A##. read more

I hate buying new suits for work but it has to be done. Usually these shopping trips are filled with annoying salespeople trying to upsell and make you buy things you don't want or need. This was my first visit to this place and it has all of the essentials. If you need a suit for work or any occasion, I highly recommend this place. I walked in knowing what I wanted and the salesman helped me very quickly and efficiently. I don't think I was in the store for more than 30 minutes including seeing the tailor to get marked for alterations. Prices start low and go much higher, so it seems like there is something for all budgets.
