This place is beyond nice. After looking for a new place to live for months, I found this place after being referred by one of my friends from school. She lived at the Paramount property and raved about her experience there and spoke highly of Picerne. Tammy was very nice and thoroughly explained the whole process of renting through the phone and she was so sweet! She made the transition from my old home to the new one so comfortable and was so patient when she explained everything. I love the green landscape here and how nice the maintenance team is. Tammy let us know Tyrone would take care of the emergency issue I had and it was addressed so quickly. My husband and I are very happy with this great customer service. I'm guessing the apartment didn't as for this review. First off kudos to the maintenance staff except the supervisor. He drives around the complex on a golf cart recklessly. Robert and Howard are amazing and personable, professional. The apartment manager, 'well,I have nothing positive to say' so I won't. The other office staff are nice, but have to check with the manager prior to making a decision most times. The lady that cleans the areas, gym etc, she's terrific. Fun to talk with and personable. The trash area by bldg 16 is well trashy. There is a pest problem (mice) although it's gotten better the past few months. The grounds are well maintained! read more

I've been here for about 2 years and this apartment is wonderful. It's very quiet. The maintenance team is amazing and very quick if you need anything fixed. The staff is very friendly and kind. They are always open to answering questions. They also have community events for residents which are very fun. They have 2 pools and the gym is nice. They have a hot tub which is very nice after a workout. The location is great because it's close to many shops and a nice place overall. I recommend you check it out. read more

LOUD NEIGHBORHOOD, lots of kids and people revving their engines sometimes as LATE AS 2AM. Do you like peace and quiet on your day off? Well not anymore this place has become such NOISY AREA to live in. I moved here recently because it seemed nice, but lately I get to hear motorcycle engines going off at all hours. It was peaceful but several months ago someone moved into the garages down from my building, He runs a motorcycle business out of the garage (violating lease agreement) and it has been loud ever since, usually starting around 4pm-2am. I don't care for a response from the company for my review, I would actually prefer them to talk to their staff and do something. because past 11pm is not an appropriate time to ride a loud motorcycle around the complex. This is the pool area of the summit by picerne apartments, in henderson NV . The Pool area is great with bathrooms, amenities, A spa. They also offer Bathrooms that include showers. They include a bottle filling station with a filtered place to fill your water and a water fountain. A downside is a lot of the patio chairs and lounge chairs are ripped and outdated and some at not very good for use because they are ripped. Other than that the pool area is great! read more

Past residence with this property for over 10 years - property decided to take back my apartment for renovation so they can charge for more $$$ for rent - notice to leave letter sent out over 30 days prior I turn in the key - management not even acknowledge my letter nor bother to talk to me while am turned back the property keys - months after I moved out and I received a letter saying that I owe them $$$ by terminate the lease - while the management F up on their ends not responding to any call not email communication between their renter - definitely a bad reflection for the Picerne and the property management and how they rip people off knowing by annoying their tenant instead of assistant them. read more

Call the office to get someone to take care of the dripping rust water in the bathtub of one of the bathrooms. Maintenance person came but he fix something in the sink in the other bathroom nothing to do with the dripping water rust from the air conditioning unit. Asked if they were going to take care of the main problem and was told that I'd have to wait to hear back from them. Put another ticket in and was called by the manager Felicia to say it was our problem that the rust was in the bathtub and contact our insurance??? If I could give this place zero stars I would. The grounds are kept horribly with dog crap everywhere. The mailboxes have been broken into three times in the seven years that I've lived here. Management does not respond to problems and as far as it being a secure building? Not so much!! The gates are always broken and the so-called secured gates where people walk out of are broken. I was given a letter 30 days ago telling me my release will not be renewed with no-fault. In doing research I found out that this apartment that I paid $1200 a month for will now be $1600 a month. I didn't mention this before but I'm handicapped and giving me 60 days to leave put a lot of stress on me. I would stay far away from this place unless you want to live in section 8 housing which they do not disclose anymore. read more

I have lived here for nearly four years and it has largely been very pleasant. I am compelled to write a review now, however, based on the unnecessary removal of all 6 grass areas that were here when I moved in in 2019. I am an environmentalist and certainly understand the importance of cutting down on water usage. However, I certainly would not recommend this property for anybody with a pet that they need to walk. With temperatures exceeding 110 in the summertime, grass can be the only option for a dog that needs to relieve themselves. It seems cruel and unusual to allow pets here, yet force them to walk on 150+ degrees surfaces to use the bathroom. Oh, they did add a new dog area though! It's in the middle of the parking lot and includes exactly 2 4x6 squares of sod...surrounded by pavement. Would it have killed management to keep one central grassy location? All the plants are drip-irrigated, couldn't some of them have been foregone to keep the only treadable surface during summers in the desert? Very disappointed. read more

Beautiful, well-maintained luxury complex! Best friend recently moved here from another Picerne property so we come over often. Grounds are always clean and it feels like a safe community as you enter each time. There's also enough guest parking on the premises, including disabled parking spots. A plus for this locations is that there are an abundance of convenient businesses close by: gas, eateries, grocers, etc. Love love the clubhouse amenities, great place to relax and chill as they have wi-fi, t.v., pool table, shuffle board and even a kitchen for your use! The community managers and staff in the office we've met are extremely welcoming and courteous especially Art and Tammy. I would, and have, recommended The Summit to family if ever they needed a nice place to stay; you really do pay for the quality of life. read more

She has been more kind and more helpful than anyone else (which isn't saying much because I'm still beyond unhappy). Also, just had a phone conversation with the regional manager, she was ware that I wrote a yelp review but yet I have no reply. No one cares! Picerne does not care about their residents. I lived here from 2011 to 2013 and thought the apartments were great. I had good neighbors, quick maintenance repairs, and good communication with the apartment management the couple times they needed in to my apartment. The unit was clean, quiet, and a great location for me. read more

I just wanted to add that two times management posted a Notice of Nonpayment of Rent on our door, even though rent was paid. Once contacted, they assured me I could disregard the notices which is nice and all, but I'm sure this isn't something that is only happening to me and it can be very stressful for someone who isn't use to handling legal matters. I also wanted to address the original review, wherein I mentioned going to Henderson Justice Court twice over disputes with Picerne Inc. (their parent corporation). The first time we stipulated on the record (settled the case). The second time we litigated it and they lost (their request for summary eviction was denied). read more

I have been a resident of this complex for almost 12 years. Now that parents have to leave there kids at home to still work they aren't accommodating at all when you need things fixed. The toilet seat is broke and my daughter got a huge cut on her thigh, but since I am a working parent and can't be home for an appointment due to my job they won't accommodate on the weekend. I kept getting two people Aaron and I already forgot the other girl name tell me two different things. Highly disappointment in the way they have treated the situation. Front office staff besides Art Felicia and Brittany is a joke and they need to be on one accord at all times not telling two different stories and then when I do as they tell me it is a problem. I pray and hope they will never have to be in a situation that requires help from another person when they can't be there read more

Most of the above reviews are spot on. We lived in the community for about a month and in that time had to call the police several times. I had my wallet stolen the first day we lived there and with in the first week there were several domestic violence calls put in. The unit was old, but in decent shape...it's a rental, stuff is always going to be broken. The community while in a great neighborhood is full of a rough crowd. Wouldn't recommend. read more

I was a little nervous about moving during Covid-19 but after doing a virtual tour with Felicia I knew she had the capability of providing a high level of customer service. I really liked that she told me the entire office works together and anyone would be able to answer any questions I had. When I moved in Brittany and Art helped me and knew exactly which apartment I was moving into just by me giving my first name. Theres good communication with all the office staff is very obvious. The maintenance staff is great. I needed some help using my ac and Tyrone Campbell and Tony were all very informative. I would highly recommend this apartment complex because it is so clean! Do not move here. The office staff are really shady. I lived here for 3 years because I hate to move. I only asked for an extermination 1 time because my apartment had crickets and black widow spiders in it. They office told me the pesticide was o.k. to use around pets. When I came home from work my dog was having seizures and I had to rush him to the vet. I thought he was going to die. The vet informed me that my dog was have a reaction to the pesticide. I called the office and told them what happened and they could have cared less much less pay for my vet bill. I sprayed my own apartment after that because the crickets and spiders were so bad. When I moved in the appliances were so old and worn. The dishwasher had some rust in it. I had to constantly get the garbage disposal fixed, and the bathtub and toliets were always stopping up. After I gave my notice and moved out I get a letter from the office stating that they are charging me to put in a new microwave, new dishwasher, and new refrigerator. The hilarious thing is I lived by myself and hardly EVER cooked meals. The appliances were already old and worn. Why am responsible to replace old appliances. I could not believe it!!! I am also reporting them to the better business bureau. I had water damage around a window and sliding glass door. After I moved out they added that to the move out charges. I am not responsible if GOD makes it rain and the buidling leaks. This has NEVER happened to me at any place that I have ever lived. I will never recommend this place to anyone. The only good thing I can say about this apartment complex is that it's zoned for great schools. In the 14 months I lived here I came across nothing but trashy tenants. There were always tons of unsupervised young children, countless cases of domestic violence requiring police, a family case of two murders that went unnoticed for days, rude and dirty neighbors. This place is low-class and I felt unsafe. I hate to bad-mouth people; and since I have nothing good to say about the office staff I will choose to say nothing at all. The units are old and currently undergoing renovations - which is great, but the increase in rent is absurd. If you are going to pay this amount for rent, then do yourself a favor and find a house or different complex not owned by Picerne Property Management. I had a lot of work orders (refrigerator, washing machine, oven, garbage disposal, leaking faucets). The response time was slow probably because the office staff is so complacent, ignorant and lazy. The maintenance department is burdened with enormous amounts of problems, but eventually did fix the issues. Bottom line: run away and don't ever look back. read more

I am torn about my review because while it's currently at a 2, that's probably generous and will most likely turn into a 1 given enough time. I would have started at a 4 two years ago, but it's only worse and worse the longer I stay. I am moving out soon. Our truck was stolen from directly in front of our apartment. Management doesn't have any cameras anywhere in the complex or offer any help, and also charged us $50 to replace the "gate" remote for the gates that are never secure anyway. Later found out others had vehicles stolen at the same time, and yet no warnings were posted anywhere. The police have been here so frequently that I really have begun to question whether it is safe for me to go outside alone in the mornings before work. Aside from the unsolved homicides that no one even warned residents about (murderer on the loose on foot for several days but no one was notified of the danger), there are also robberies and random crazies wandering, and seemingly this is just a matter of course for the office people. This morning 5 police cruisers were parked here at 5 am, for who knows what, and that isn't rare. The pool looks great but is closed almost half of the days in the summer, either for maintenance or because the health department shuts it down. The bathroom facilities in the pool area were closed literally the entire summer, or unstocked with toilet paper when open, and never cleaned. I wonder why the pool gets contaminated? The fitness center is totally outdated, always hot, no water fountain, and giant glass windows that puts whoever is inside on display after dark. Creepy. Recently they have begun removing the best part of the whole complex, the grassy areas, and replacing them with ugly rocks and cheap arrangements of shrubs. There is no place near my apartment to walk my dogs anymore, without traveling over the molten blacktop to the other areas. The dog-friendly advertising is the main reason I chose this complex but it is getting more and more unfriendly as the time passes. The process of dealing with everything is very corporate and unreasonable, and the rent is outrageously high. I really don't know why I have stayed so long except that I hate moving. I think maintenance is friendly and generally fixes everything within a reasonable time, but they totally overwhelm those guys and never have enough help for the main guys to get to everything. Definitely agree with the other reviewer that most of the appliances, plumbing, and other fixtures are well past their time and need to be replaced. There is ample parking and most of my neighbors have been friendly and quiet. The complex itself is quiet and peaceful and the apartments have nice layouts. The neighborhood is super convenient and the on-site garages are affordable and pretty convenient if you need storage. The office people are usually polite, but not able to offer that much in the way of customer service because of the giant corporate attitude that pervades the whole place. They do allow actual dogs, rather than just chihuahuas, and that is the main thing that drew me to this complex. If it weren't for the total disregard of tenant safety and security, I would be more interested in staying. read more

After living here for a year, Jan 2018-Jan 2019. I wanted to update my review, still 4 Stars. This place was almost always quiet, besides the kids running around and playing (I'm not complaining!) Almost every issue I had was always addressed immediately. The property remains clean all the time, they have people come every Tuesday to ensure its beauty. My only complaint is the last 3 months we lived there, they had FOUR inspections! One we were picked for? One annual one, one for maintenance to check everything? And then one to see what renovations they can do once we leave. It was ridiculous. However, The only reason we left was because we needed to downgrade and they wanted to raise our rent, honestly even with the rent raise it was a steal. I would recommend living here, it's in a great area and staff is always pleasant. read more

The area is absolutely amazing. I loved the layout of the floor plans. The grounds are clean with a lot of greenery. They have all the amenities I was searching for including swimming pool, gym, and shaded parking. In addition the clubhouse has a very modern decor equipped with a pool table, shuffleboard table, and a mini arcade cabinet. Tammy and Jamie were especially friendly and patient explaining about the property. They didn't have the availability for my move-in time frame in November but I appreciate their time.
