I've lived here at these apartments now for coming up on 2 years. We moved here from Orange county, California, because rent was just crazy expensive, the taxes were killing us, and gas prices were through the roof. I am so glad we found this place. One thing you will love about living here is that everything.. and I mean, everything, is in close proximity to your apartment. There's a Costco down the street, a Lowe's and home Depot, t.j Maxx, more restaurants than you can shake a stick at, multiple grocery stores, a post office, medical centers, and everything else you could need without driving more than 10 minutes. One thing that my girlfriend and I like to do is go to a different breakfast spot. On the weekends. We have discovered that we could eat at a different spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday for a year and never hit the same place twice! And bonus, they're all amazing! Every kind of food you can imagine is within a very short drive of this complex. Landscape is very well kept, and I absolutely love the maintenance guys that work here. Super friendly, super nice, very helpful, and very quick to respond when you have a problem. Plus they have a great mailbox system with very secure mailboxes and an Amazon locker. It's really just a matter of steps away from my apartment door to pick up my mail or an Amazon packages. The apartments themselves are very nicely appointed. Granted, some of the window dressings and appliances are the absolute bare minimum, lowest end that you could find. Find. But they are still functional and if there is ever a problem the maintenance guys come out and fix them ASAP. This is a small price to pay for having such inexpensive rent in a safe, well kept community. This place is very pet friendly, and there are multiple dogs that live in the complex. Plenty of dog relief stations with bags to pick up the poop. That's a very nice touch. Bottom line? I cannot think of a reason why you should not live here. Between the great front office, the maintenance people, the availability of everything you could possibly need, and just a comfortable place to live, you would be missing out by not living here. read more

I've lived at Positano for going on three years. I'm very happy with my apartment with the amenities here. The maintenance crew consisting of Eric (tech), Nate, (tech)supervisor Nate and of course Charlie the cornerstone of the Apts.. Lol. Every time I've had an issue which hasn't been much but things happen. Everything has always been fixed very professionally on time and no callback ever this place is a great place to live. I do plan on getting a house hopefully soon but until then, I plan to remain here And of course I wanna mention Desiree the manager. She has great leadership skills in order to maintain such a good group of guys thank you very much and by the way, there's a lot of stores nearby here. The 215 is right around the corner. Leasing staff was somewhat rude and dismissive. One manager, in the middle of us filling out paperwork, came over to tell the leasing agent (and us I guess) that there were "no move in specials." We never asked for any specials and 1 of us was able to qualify independently based on income! We didn't need or want move- in specials!! She just assumed we would need help to afford the move-in and monthly rent? Not sure, but felt a little put off by the comment. We are a 3 income earning family and never requested any assistance with move in costs. Glad we ended up NOT moving into this community. Found a better one with 2 additional swimming pools, higher ceilings and much nicer staff just down the road a little. read more

I have lived here for over 8 years. It has been nothing but a wonderful life. The apartments are very spacious and well laid out. The maintenance people are so wonderful, especially NATE! He is amazing and does the job better than anyone I've ever seen. He is always smiling and eager to assist with anything. Kim in the office is over the top amazing too! I can't recommend highly enough! - Positano is one of my best living experiences over the years, which includes 4 past home ownerships. I think I'm just over six years here, and I have zero interest in going anywhere else. - Where to start... I initially fell for Positano based on two things: the beautiful grounds with winding pathways, and the floor plan -- which does NOT feel like an apartment, it feels like an actual small/tiny house. - Maintenance is fully on top of all service requests; I'm trying to think of any that weren't solved within 24-30 hours, and I can't come up with a single one. - Any trash on the grounds is speedily 'vanished', whether it's from winds or litterers. - Everyone in the office is like family, ALWAYS kind and helpful. I was looking for a downstairs unit for my Mom, who recently sold her house in the same neighborhood. I went to the website on a Tuesday morning, and secured a unit for her. We walked into the office the same morning, handled some preliminary business, sent the docs to Kim, easy peasy. My mom called the utility folks and the unit was ours within just a couple of days. Got the keys Friday. What a load off my mind! I was beyond pleased with the service we received from Kim, Patti, Angela, and Desiree. ..My Son and I moved here 2 days ago. My unit was upgraded everything is brand new, modern. I love it, before this I had looked at almost 20 apts some were bad areas far from work and school or they were too expensive, my credit and/or income wasn't good enough, some places would take my $100 app fee deny me that day or want 6k to move in, I was losing hope. Desiree called me to come check out the complex, I think I filled something out online. I almost didn't go, so happy I did. She listened to my story, I was stressed and needed to move assp. She helped me with the application process, getting my documents together, It was quick and easy. I did not tell my son about apt, I did not want to get his hopes up again, we had been sharing a room at a friends house for months, he's a teenager and needed his own room. Long story short, I got accepted when she gave me the house keys she put them in a Christmas box so I could give it to my son and surprise him, I cried I was so happy. I had to write a review because this has been a great experience, Desiree is professional, she exceeded my expectations, kind lady even gave me a hug. My fiance and I have lived here about 3 years and we absolutely love it! We will dread the day we have to move. To anyone considering this beautiful property - do it! You will not regret it. The complex is maintained at a VERY high standard. The gates close at 7 PM and can only be opened with a call to the resident. We have not had nor heard of any problems with break ins. Every one around us is friendly and to themselves. The apartment itself is spacious with decent sized rooms, walk in closets, and high ceilings. It has all of the necessities including: in unit washer and dryer, refrigerator, and etc. We have not had any problems with bugs or plumbing. The staff has always been attentive and prompt. Patti, the office manager, is the most wonderful woman. Her professionalism and geninue heart is much appreciated. She is fast to get things done and communicates efficiently. I just went through the application process. My agent Patti is someone special. She was extremely nice, she listen to me and let me ask all the questions I wanted. Patti was on top of the whole process and contacted me to let me know what was going on. She asked for a few items and let me know right when I was approved. To say Patti went above and beyond is an understatement. To be honest I found other apartments that had a lower rent, but because of Patti I decided to rent here. I REALLY REALLY hate giving this place such a low review but I just cant get passed their disregard for others. First off let me say its a nice apartment complex, everyone is super friendly (staff) and they take care of maintenance issues quickly. The rent isn't bad, apartments are nice and spacious, over all its a nice place. However, if you live in a bottom apartment and your upstairs neighbor is an inconsiderate person... forget about them doing anything about it. We've been here for a little over a year, our first year we had a family upstairs, their smallest child used to stomp and be loud SOMETIMES mostly at night after 11pm.. BUT it didn't last long and the people were ALWAYS super apologetic about it, frankly we didn't care because we understood. Then came the new neighbors, now the first 2-3 they moved they were loud! Super loud BUT we figured hey they just moved, probably trying to get settled and such.. NOPE. "Quiet hours" are supposed to be from 10pm-10am... SINCE they moved in OCTOBER... EVERY MORNING they are up stomping, throwing something that sounds like a bowling ball, vacuuming at 6AM! my kids have their own schedule and since they moved they ALWAYS wake up saying they couldn't sleep because the people upstairs are loud, my eldest is usually tired every morning.. At night they are quiet UNTIL 9PM and then they start DOING THE SAME THING till about 1am sometimes. Sooo why am I saying all of this.. MULTIPLE MULTIPLE times I've gone to the office to tell them whats going on, SOMEONE from the office came to my apartment at 8am AND HEARD IT! They have done nothing! All we asked is for them to respect quiet hours... thats all.. QUIET HOURS. Now they throw trash from the upstairs balcony down to ours... and we get all the lovely dirty diapers, trash bags and such in OUR balcony. I've stopped trying to the front office, last time I was given a flyer and told to call the after hours number to complain... what are they gonna do? So we are stuck in a lease, dealing with noise and lost of sleep. So as much as I DO like this place, I cant wait to move out. All we asked for was to respect quiet hours, thats all.. thats all I asked of the front office to speak to them about and to this day... 5 MONTHS later. They haven't done it. Also FYI the reason I won't talk to the person upstairs personally. Its not that I can't but I dont put myself in situations that will temp me to act outta line. I haven't had a positive experience with the staff. The office is majority European women and there's subtle racism and harassment. I think if you are white or of European decent they speak to you respectfully and kindly but if you are non-white maybe speak multiple languages they treat you entirely different. I've had to document emails and put cameras up to gather evidence of my experience because they will not listen. I even reached out to the regional manager Ashley to discuss the treatment, harassment, and issues I've been having. I don't feel safe here and I'm moving my family out ASAP. Ashley is the regional manager and hasn't addressed my emails. Maria is the main property manager. Desiree is an office agent and seems to be in the office more but if you have an issue she will not help you solve it. It seems she turns things around to blame the resident. It's a severe lack of communication skills. That has been my experience. She was degrading towards me over the phone. She spoke down to me and threw my college degree in my face. Entirely unprofessional. It's none of her business what I'm doing with my academic career but I guess if you are a renter she thinks you aren't educated. I explained to her real estate is a people business and learning to listen and communicate is a part of that. The issue was for her to help me talk to maintenance about wearing shoe coverings when they enter my home. Why is it so hard to relay communication? Why must you degrade a resident who has paid in full every time for such a small issue? The maintenance crew are great it's just a communication problem. This really does stem from racism and bigotry. I decided in order to feel more comfortable I will communicate directly with maintenance. The guys are majority Hispanic and bilingual. So much more respectful to the residents than the office and that says a lot about management and its culture. I will continue to work hard academically and professionally to change things like this and advocate for others and my family. To give you, as the reader more context, I am white born in Germany and my partner is Hispanic and Spanish speaking. Our daughter is a mix of both of us and we are both women living together and doing life together. Discrimination still exists and I'm sad for that. Our combined income is about 75k. They charge a $350 non refundable cleaning fee. Here are some pictures what was hidden filth at time of move in. There is paint overspray on windows, bathroom light fixtures and mirrors. On the floor and blinds. The master bedroom window was not sealed and those windy days when the window and blinds are closed the blinds blow around keeping me away. They had a maintenance man who found me on Facebook within moments of leaving my apartment for some repairs. He got my name off the work order form. Otherwise he would not have known it to have looked me up. I am a single mom with 2 daughters. I had to protect myself and my daughters. So I had to leave that place. Patti in the office reported that I did not give notice that I was moving out , but I told her in person, on the phone and in an email. I moved out after 14 days of signing a lease. They kept over $4k of my money and I cleaned the apartment so good that when Patti who is the manager came and we did a walk through with me said it looks like I never lived there. That's how clean I left it but I told her I left the nasty filth that was there when I moved in and she said that's fine. Makes no sense she says I moved out with no notice when we had a scheduled time for move out walk through. Just untruthful and greedy people. I went through their legal team to get some money back. They refuse and won't even give me an address where to have legal papers served. read more

Just moved here, and I love it so far! As a big contrast from the apartments in LA where you pay an arm and a leg but get half the amenities, Positano has been incredibly refreshing for me. Office Staff - Cannot say enough about the kind and helpful team. They have always been available for me if and when I've needed anything and were super welcoming when I came here from out of town. Very sensitive to my wants and needs, especially since I was going to be renting my apartment sight unseen. The ladies in the office made me feel super comfortable and confident about my move, and everything went beyond smooth on my move-in day. Complex - A spacious, clean, modern development. I love how it is always nice and quiet. Many families here, also singles and couples. Everyone keeps to themselves and I love it. I love my apartment, it has everything I need and more. I've already used the pool, gym, and clubhouse, all very convenient for tenants. The maintenance staff is always hard at work and it shows. Security - I am lucky enough to have a garage attached to my unit so I have no issues with security when it comes to my car. The front gates also close after 7pm. I think these are very well-priced apartment units and like I mentioned before, you really get a lot for your money here. The strip and the airport are just a short drive away and there are endless shops, restaurants, businesses, etc. nearby. I highly recommend Positano if you are considering moving to Vegas! read more

This is an ok place but there are concerning issues. For one, this is not a "luxury" unit. The counters are faded laminate, the appliances have big dents in them, the light switches are yellowing and dingy (tried cleaning but nothing works), the pipes squeal, the blinds don't turn, half the outlets don't work, and our main window is broken on the top so we can't even use it. We also have a leak maintenance has said is "not bad" or "not worth fixing" so we literally have put a tupperware in the attic area in the ceiling where the pipe is leaking so it would stop. There is a large yellow stain on the ceiling no one wants to fix. There's a huge hole in the building near the stairwell for the time they fixed the water heater but never bothered to patch the hole). Oh, and they'll tell you there is "ample" parking in the back (disclaimer: there is until 7pm because their covered parking assignments are messed up and everyone takes the free parking in the back and by 7pm it's full). On top of everything, there are security issues at the back of the property. They leave the back walk-through gate open so the kids can come in and out of school. Great. There's also section 8/affordable housing a block off on Spencer that attracts a lot of crime. Our neighbor nearly got broken into a month ago. Whenever we ask for maintenance or voice our concerns to management, we either get push back or a stern lecture this isn't their problem (regarding security issues). We have never asked management to "watch" our place as they accuse us of. We ask them to take common sense measures to make sure its residents are living in a secure property. We pay what would be a a $300,000 mortgage on a tiny apartment here that is falling apart. The management was great when we first moved in because we are overqualified for the place and have great credit history but once we got locked in management made it clear our concerns were no longer relevant. We don't even bother asking for maintenance or help at this point because we don't need the attitude or pushback. I don't recommend. We are disappointed. I am leaving this review to get the attention of management that we're sick of the pushbacks. We are hoping to buy a home when the lease is up but either way, we are moving once we can. read more

I lived in this apartment complex for about a year & a half, and for the most part I really liked it! I never really had any major complaints, the apartments themselves to me seemed pretty well built, and I never had any serious issues with the quality of construction or appliances. The layout of the 1,000 square foot 2 bedroom apartments are really nice, and the cool thing about this place is they allow you to paint the interior however you want (as long as you paint it back) ... We never had any issues with neighbors having drama, and it's pretty quiet at night for the most part. The location is great and puts you very close to lots of good stores & restaurants. The office & pool area are really nice, and you do have access to a very small 24hr gym. The maintenance and office staff are very nice & helpful , and usually resolved any issues very quickly, Maria was especially kind and helpful! The only negative things I can think of are as follows... - The water heater for the upstairs units are located on the patio area of the downstairs apartment, so if your upstairs neighbors water heater goes out, you have to give access to your patio so it can be fixed, which is annoying. - The sounds from the upstairs apartments can be quite loud if you're downstairs at times. - One of the gates on the rear corner of the property doesn't lock, and allows access to pretty much anyone who is walking bye, and that to me is somewhat of a serious safety concern. - These units are not SUPER expensive, but they're not cheap either, and you should fully expect your rent to go up at least $100 per year. I've had only a couple of service requests because everything is in great condition, but the times that I've needed assistance, the crew was fantastic, knowledgeable, worked quickly, and left my apartment better than before. The management team is great, too. In the beginning this awesome, nice exterior, friendly staff and apartment beautifully sold our eyes, the moment we moved in it was a nightmare, Nicole the manager went from being so polite and pleasant to rude and very short and unprofessional. She was very selective with people she like, usually when i have a. Conversation with her she would cut me off rudely and when request for maintenance or any defaults she would be unprofessional and short. PARKING it was a nightmare none of my guest would like to visit due to the fact no parking after 7pm. INTERIOR the kitchen was a nightmare the cabinets were to small to fit things in and their excuse was oh there is a Lowes to provide you with extra space. WHAT?? This review is long & over due. I will be doing a very lengthy review to help you with your apartment search. OVERALL: I would absolutely recommend this apartment to a friend. In fact, I have and even though the process was a little bumpy at first Nicole, really helped work out things to make my friend and her husband very happy. NOISE: The walls here are paper thin. My husband and I really struggled with the noise the first year we lived here. We did have some problems with rowdy upstairs neighbors but they were ultimately evicted and the couple that lives above us now is great. This noise issue is not an issue with just this particular apartment complex. This is an issue with every apartment complex and it is to be expected when living in an apartments. My husband and I made the greatest investment of our lives in a sound machine from Amazon and it completely changed our sleep. My apartment is in a very high trafficked area but I would probably suggest purchasing an alarm system to deter potential wrong doers if your apartment is in a less trafficked area. NEIGHBORHOOD: Probably they main reason why I choose this apartment is its LOCATION. Right off of eastern and backs to no major roads (ie.no road noise). Henderson is literally right across the street and I had looked at apartments within henderson and they all shot up in price. This was bigger and cheaper then a lot of the other complexes I looked at. GRANTED, the cabinets and kitchen spaces are terribly outdated. Why they cannot throw on a layer of paint on the ugly bathroom cabinets is beyond me. The kitchen cabinets are small and if you can get an apartment with a built in microwave you will be better off with space. MAINTENANCE: WOW! they always come same day, do the repair fast, and you can schedule an appointment with them! One of the reasons why I felt 100% confident in recommending Positano is their ability to take care of the apartment in a timely manner. STAFF: Nicole is fantastic. I have been here through 2 management changes and I can honestly say that Nicole, is a community builder. They are consistently doing resident appreciation days and community parties. This is another reason why I am 100% confident recommending Positano. You want a safe home, that will be up kept in a timely manner, with someone who is happy and available to help you. Although the staff is awesome, the ceilings are too thin!! We've only lived here about 4 months and am so irritated! We live in a downstairs unit and literally hear when they use the bathroom, open a drawer, open and shut a door, pull a chair out in the kitchen, walk down the hallway! The worse is the baby bouncer! You can hear EVERY baby bouncer bounce!! We have kids and understand that you cannot control everything your children however there is common courtesy! The noise is ridiculous!! The creaking of the floor is actually the worse! Sounds like elephants! The worst part is, we work a lot. When it's time to come home relax and watch some tv, the upstairs noise is louder therefore forcing you to make the tv louder! It's almost impossible to rest at home from the casino/airport noise when all you want to do is chill. Getting woken up by drawers open are what brings me to the absolute end! I think I'd rather pay for the house we were in instead dealing with this!!!! Guest saying.....I know I chose downstairs but I also lived in an upstairs unit and was COURTEOUS and would CONTROL my kids and have respect for our downstairs neighbors. I have enjoyed living at Positano apartments. The office staff and maintenance are friendly and very helpful. I enjoy the 24 hr gym and pool! They have an Amazon Hub and its awesome to be able to get my packages when convenient for me! The location is great too! Close to the 215 and tons of shopping and restaurants. My boyfriend and I were thinking of renting another ovation property and we saw Positano was close so we decided to check them out, although we ended up going with a house in the end. HOWEVER, we decided to write a review because we wanted everyone to know that this apartment complex is beautiful! We were helped by Allison and she was so friendly, knowledgeable, and very funny actually?! She had my son cracking up! She made the whole experience very welcoming! We soooo wanted to rent but they didnt have what we needed in our time frame. But we thought wed still give them a shout out, we will def recommend to anyone looking for an apartment. :) read more
