I was impressed by the condition of the property and accessibility; it's close to the 215 but easy to get in and out of. The staff was super friendly and professional. I was able to get the layout I wanted in the building I wanted and the floor I wanted so this was a no brainer. I've been here a month and none of the typical problems you would expect have come up. It's quiet, safe, the pools and jacuzzis are very clean and accessible. Maintenance calls here are responded to in hours, not days or weeks. The gym equipment is top notch and actually works. They have the greatest coffee machine in the clubhouse that does lattes, teas, etc. The staff has proved to be extremely responsive and remembers your name. I recommend this place to anyone that wants a quiet, comfortable place to live. Gave it five stars because Yelp doesn't have six. read more

It's a trap. Just nice enough and priced well enough for you to stay way longer than you should. You can have your dog. They bring AC Filters and lightbulbs at no additional charge. Moving is a hassle, etc. Kelly is a fixture who will never leave. When I moved out, I refused to complete a piece of paperwork, and she whined that if I didn't do it, she'd get in trouble. That's the pitch to encourage compliance from your equally middle-aged peer? Ok. Sure. Hector is fair. A company man through and through. No real complaints overall. 3 stars because it's showing wear and there are a lot of car break-ins. Also, junk fees on your final statement. What is the useful life of a door handle on a microwave? Unwelcoming and Hostile Experience at The Paramount Last night (6/28/25) I visited The Paramount recently to spend time with loved ones for my deceased grandmothers memorial. Five of us were invited to enjoy the pool, which had been highly recommended as one of the best features of the community--especially during the summer. From the moment we arrived, the security guard's first words were, "I'm recording you." He was aggressive, spoke over residents, and offered no real guidance--only threats. When we asked if two guests could enter at a time, he called his supervisor and claimed we were violating policies, then threatened to shut the pool down. We moved to another area to regroup and sat quietly on the stairs, but he followed us and continued stating we were being recorded. No one was disruptive--we were simply trying to make plans after a long drive from California. What's most concerning is that this treatment was extended to residents of over 10 years who've never had prior issues. If there are concerns about amenity abuse, they should be addressed case-by-case--not through blanket restrictions or intimidation tactics. As someone who works in real estate, I understand the importance of security--but hospitality and professionalism should never be sacrificed. Based on this experience, I would seriously reconsider recommending this property to others. It no longer feels like a community--it feels like a place under hostile surveillance and definitely doesn't feel like home. read more

Man.... I really wanted to update this and didn't realize how long it has been... But what can I say? I am really disappointed. I mean... Where are the loud parties? I literally lay on the couch, windows open and it's so quiet here, not one bit of music...No screaming, No crazy neighbors.... Boring. ;) Where are the porch thieves? I have had UPS drop packages off 2-3 days before I even realized they were there and no one has taken anything, ever...I mean what kind of place is this? And how come the police are never here? I mean, what kind of operation are you running? I mean, I guess I will stay a while longer, Its within my 5 year plan after all and I am super comfortable here so why change it? This was a great place to live. I was a Day 1 resident. It's location was ideal for me, and I picked the very first apartment of the entire complex prior to completion of construction back in 2009, 13 years ago. I had moved from a another Picerne property in Southern Highlands because of an incessant scorpion problem, for which that management team did little until I began bringing in scorpions to the rental office which spooked prospective inquiring renters who happened to be there at the time. The previous Picerne management team also mistakenly put an eviction notice on my door and then laughed about their mistake. I was hoping The Paramount would be a new chapter, a fresh start in brand new complex. For the most part the experience was quite good. The top five best aspects of my 13 years at The Paramount were: 1. Walking distance to the gym and set along a bike trail. 2. Exceptional maintenance with immediate response. 3. No scorpions! I only saw one in 13 years and that little guy had been relocated in a pile of decorative rocks. 4. Tremendous view from my third floor southern facing apartment. 5. And most important, the awesome staff at The Paramount. With just one exception, every maintenance person and manager at The Paramount were nothing less than exceedingly professional and kind. On occasion the management team would hand out bagged breakfasts to residents departing to work in their cars. (Note: the lone exception was a maintenance man way back who berated me for rinsing the dust off of my bicycle with the pool detachable shower head. Perhaps I was wrong, but the Gunnery Sergeant Foley / Zack Mayo lambasting (Officer and a Gentleman, 1982) was unwarranted. Top five worst aspects of the The Paramount were: 1. Thin walls. If you have the misfortune of having gamers, loud lovers, or bad marriages renting next to you, you'll know it. The nice thing is the management will correct the situation with a series of progressive notices and warnings. 2. Very dusty! I've been told that comes with living by the highway. The dust was so bad that once on a zoom conference call I was asked if it was snowing in my apartment. 3. Very noisy! This is the price for living along Interstate 215 in Vegas. The loud traffic never ends. Not just loud traffic, but any non-electric vehicle. And motorcycle bikers know that the best time to race is at 3 AM. You'd be surprised how many responding cop cars, ambulances, and motorcycle clubs roar along 215 24/7. 4. 2022 rent jack! My last rent increase pretty much forced me to buy a home. Now my mortgage payment is less than my rent increased rate would have been. 5. Repaint window mess. Three years ago The Paramount hired a company to repaint the all of the buildings. The paint company did a great job, but left all the windows filthy and paint speckled, and never cleaned the windows! This marred my third floor great view. I asked if I could get a ladder and clean the windows myself. Management said no. I asked if they would reimburse me the $300 to have a company wash my third floor windows. Again, no. I asked if I could contact the painters to clean their mess. No again. Management said basically that there was no solution to the filthy paint pocked windows. It was like sending an unmanned rover to Mars, it was just impossible. The technology just doesn't exist. This epic fail falls primarily on the the parent company. But it was extremely frustrating and disappointing. They should rename the place to The Jackson Pollock. So the bottom line is, I would rent then. Now, probably not in view (no pun intended) of the window situation and massive rent hike. But I will end this review with acknowledgment of the outstanding staff at The Paramount. read more

I'm completely upset that an armed security came up to me and my kids and grandchildren at the pool. He said there was glass reported at the pool. There was no glass in my party. He also said there was reports of trespassing at the pool. He threatened to call Metro on me and my grandkids ok aged 8,6,5,3,2 since I had more that 2 per apartment. The truth is we are varying shades of brown and I have a feeling there was too much black and brown in the pool area. As there were other residents that he went to who were brown. Suffice it to say... I'm upset and I pay my rent every month on time no issues. I'm pissed read more

Employees or what ever works there at the front desk are always spying on me when ever I go to the gym or my mail. Although the place is nice it's just the neighbors and people that live in these apartments are always not nice and very loud even though I keep complaining to the manager. If you don't like having little friend insects in your apartment well don't come. I had a cockroach problem even though I hired countless exterminators to kill these suckers. I suggest you look at other places then this one if you don't want to keep having exterminators come in. read more

Update to my last review. Staff again is great. My water heater went out overnight on a Saturday so I figured I was out of luck until Monday. As I was leaving for work I ran into our maintenance guy and mentioned it. He said he'd do his best but it would possibly be Monday. I had shut the water off but he showed me how to just bypass the heater so I at least had water. My son just called and less than 3 hours later I have a new heater installed. Lived here for 3 years. Never missed, nor was late with, rent ever. I was clean and quiet. Even through the pandemic, I was on point with payments even though none of the amenities were available to us and we still had to pay full rent. Never was I offered a discount or anything for being a frontline worker either, but whatever. However, upon moving out, they billed me almost $400 for carpet replacement "due to depreciation" when I left most of it spotless, other than a bleach stain (when I moved in, the carpet was definitely NOT new and it had black stains on it which I had to clean myself, go figure). I was also charged a fee for not returning my parking pass, when I was unaware that I had to (it was already bleached by the sun and barely readable at that point). When I asked if the fee could be waived if I mailed in the parking pass because I didn't know it needed to be returned, the manager said no because the "move out had already been processed". Honestly, how hard is it to credit $25 to a loyal tenant who never caused any problems while living there? I'll pay the carpet fee but to not be understanding about the parking pass was just poor business practice. Also, when calculating my last rent payment which was prorated, one of the girls gave me the wrong total, and gave me a lot of attitude when I questioned it. That girl was actually very wrong. Two other ladies at the office who were nice each gave me the same figure, which made more sense. I was grateful for that. They also charge an extra $120 if you go month to month after your lease is up, when other places don't charge that much or anything at all. Greedy company... so glad to be done with them. read more

Update! My stove was replaced. I didn't ask for a new one but I got one anyway. Haven't had a problem since. It works great! I also had my water heater replaced. Since the management company goes through a third party, I had to wait to have it inspected. They told me they found some rust around the water heater and wanted to change it out. I don't hear my water heater pounding on my wall anymore but it sucks because now I can hear my neighbors water heater every time they use the bathroom or run water. We can't win them all I guess. Management did what they could to accommodate my request and address my concerns. read more

I have lived in Vegas for cumulatively over ten years and I have to say that this apartment complex and team have been the best by far. There are so many places to live throughout the Las Vegas Valley and this team knows hospitality and customer service better than any I have encountered. They genuinely care about the concerns of the community and work hard to maintain a beautiful living environment for everyone. I moved into this complex back in May 2014 and have renewed my lease every year I could thereafter. I originally came in with my best friend to look around the various floor plans they offered on the third floor just to see how it compares with other areas around Green Valley and Henderson. The price was pretty reasonable for the quality of the area and living space, and the amenities were clean, great, and well maintained. I originally met Lisa, who no longer works here for a tour of the area, and fell in love with the sanctuary floor plan model and proximity of this location correlating to my best friends' homes around the area. However, because of her lack of professionalism and interest in helping me see the amenities and overall property layout, I did not want to sign the papers for the lease hold. For lack of better words on the matter, I will just say she did not provide much customer service or have etiquette to help because of reasons beyond me. I decided to head to this location the next day to see one more time, the apartment and living quarters to make a final decision after having my heart set on moving to a different apartment altogether. I met with Hector who is now the property manager, but a consultant back then and asked him a few extra questions I had about the amenities and tour. He turned the whole experience around and honestly, was so genuine and thorough, that I decided on the spot to sign the lease without any hold. It has been over four years and I have to say now that I am finally moving elsewhere, that this has been the most positive experience I have ever had in renting. The maintenance team is very friendly and gets things done quickly. The lease staff is always super cordial and customer service forward for any inquiries you have during your time here and Hector is one of the best property managers I have ever met who knows the industry and takes care of you and your home with integrity. Kelly helped me with a couple renewals and answered all my questions making the process so quick and easy! She has always been so approachable and friendly! Courtney and Jenny were always super nice too when I had any concerns about community issues or events! If you are looking to rent and make a "home," I would highly recommend coming here. Prices are very fair for the quality you get and all the amenities constitute this spot to be 5 stars. 2 beautifully maintained pools, quaint fitness center that is always clean, beautiful clubhouse where you can host events or relax, a quaint, modern business center next to the office, 24 hour security/emergency maintenance team, and a contemporary style apartment with minimal noise (depending on neighbors of course). I lived here for almost 4 years from 2013 to 2017. I loved it so much for so many reasons and I decided to leave because I thought our house my fiancee and were purchasing was going to go through. It unfortunately fell through, and last minute decided to try another Picerne property called Cantera off of Rainbow and 215. All Picerne properties are not the same! I believe Paramount Apartments are the main managing office in Vegas, so they have to also set the standard for their other properties. As many reviews here show, it is very clean, the staff is always very nice and at the time, when I lived here Hector always helped me with all my renewals, questions, and orders. The location is prime because not only is the area good, but it's so convenient to get to the 215/15 freeway. I still until this day regret my decision on leaving! Yes, it is not the modern style that a lot of places are coming up with, and yes, the air conditioning is pretty loud (but it works really well), I believe those two things are minor compared to many other problems that I have encountered at properties and companies. I lived on the 3rd floor, it had vaulted ceilings and it was so quiet and peaceful. It also surprisingly stayed cool pretty well, maybe because the buildings are joined together and the sun didn't hit directly on it during the day. Overall highly recommend! read more

*Bad business conduct* I would be weary of moving here. I recently moved out and gave a written 60 day notice. I called the leasing office and spoke to Marilyn Moran and asked if I could turn the keys in early since I had already moved out within the 60 day notice. She said let me see if your utilities have posted assured me they had and said no problem. Then I receive my move out itemized fees and there's a $697 charge for a '12 day notice fee'. After calling the main office I was informed the fee was due to turning the keys in early and not completing the 60 day notice. I wish Maryland would have mentioned that a fee would have been involved for turning the keys in sooner. I would have just waited to turn the keys in. The management team is suppose to be the subject matter experts and I feel like they take advantage of their resident's ignorance in order to nickel and dime them. It left a bad taste in my mouth with the way they've conducted business. I would just be very weary of moving into this complex. Pros: shoutout to the maintenance team their the best I've ever encountered. They respond within 2-3 hrs. The grounds and amenities are well kept and very clean. read more

Good afternoon to everyone. I also unfortunately will agree with Ms Maritza. This was very uncalled for. I understand that an email was sent out to residents. However it was not appropriate for the guard to approch residents like this. I understand that he is doing his job. Nevertheless, after he came to me and asked for a pass, I showed him my key and told him it was my wife and son. Them he went to a bigger family. I'm guessing it is Ms Maritza's family. First he told them about glass in the pool, then told them just two guess per residents, then I over heard security guard call metro. They was uncalled for. This will not be good because there are families with 4/6 people in a resident. To the management team, I truly appreciate and like living here but with the high rent and unrealistic rules, it makes living on site very uncomfortable and not gratifying. read more

I have lived here with my boyfriend and cat for over a year and we LOVE it! The location is perfect--right off the 215! It is close to a park too! Paramount apartments has amazing amenities: 2 pools and jacuzzis, several gas grills, a dog park, a club house, and a gym (with ellipticals, treadmills, bikes, several weight machines, and free weights!). I have lived all over Las Vegas, and this is the first place where my neighbors are actually friendly. They wave, say "hello" or "good morning", and let me pet their pups! The office staff are a bunch of rockstars! They always make sure to answer all of my questions or concerns in a timely fashion. They also have fun little events and treats every month! The handyman is PHENOMENAL! He always shows up within the timeframe and handle my problem quick and efficiently! He always brings extra light bulbs, batteries, and air filters. I had a work order for my dishwasher... the handyman came and ended up installing a brand new garbage disposal! He was finished in less than 30 minutes! He always is polite and friendly, and had information to share to each tenant about their problem. We are so happy here, we renewed our lease! Because we renewed our lease, we recieved a free carpet cleaning. YAY! I would definitely recommend moving here, it is worth every penny! read more

The only thing that worries me is that our truck was stolen right I front of you apartment within two hours of going out for family dinner. Not really happy about that. When we reported this to the office and asked if we could get a placement remote we were told it was a charge. I mean wow. The amenities and customer service at The Paramount definitely put this location over the top. State-of-the art dishwasher and washer/drier in the unit, it's nice being able to walk 360° around through the dual doors of the bathroom. The gym is always clean and has sufficient ellipticals and free weights for us fitness mortals, haven't heard anybody grunt either. Check the calendar they email you every month (several occasions) and go to the clubhouse from 4-6pm for amazing freebies like warm catered dinner the week of Thanksgiving... the staff looks for reasons to celebrate: Cinco tacos, pumpkin pie, treats for your dog and they even remembered national pizza day! Anytime I had an issue (which the worst thing that happened to my apartment was the fan was whipping too hard one time) maintenance took care of it right away and the community manager Hector followed up with a phone call! Talk about individualized service! Courtney is very friendly with any questions I had and sold me immediately on the property with the way she answered the phone, such professionalism. The property manager Jennifer was very accommodating with my unique leasing situation... it wasn't an instant "no!" when I asked, she worked with me, which goes to show the staff actually cares about you as a tenant. My favorite part of the property is the landscaping is absolutely beautiful, visible from any angle from your spacious porch, I was not expecting the lantana to bloom a third time but they did in the autumn! Aside from a few busy weekends in the summer (which is to be expected) you can enjoy the pool area/hot tub to yourself. And the jets are strong! Not every hot tub I've been in boasts such powerful jets! Plenty of parking and great location within walking distance of two (24 hour) taco shops and a pizza place is opening soon on Maryland. read more

Here is why - For starters, the office staff is simply amazing! They are always helpful and are courteous. I received a phone call once because I left a trash bag outside of my front door and at first I thought wow that was fast but then I realized that this is a beautiful place and I appreciate they do everything they can to maintain it. I have lived here for 3 years going on 4 years and in the past parking was an issue. I have since seen the parking lot cleaned up and less violators, you know those who think rules do not apply to them. Anyways, I also want to say that maintenance is super fast and efficient. They go out of their way to assist you. I will say that the A/C's are not the quietest but it's not something I haven't dealt with in the past with previous rentals. All around I couldn't be happier to call The Paramount home and I would recommend it to anybody! read more

My wife and I and dog lived here for two an a half years with mostly no issue. I'd most likely recommend, but not rave about this to a friend. Most of the cons to this place aren't really their fault, but worthwhile to consider. We lived in a first floor apartment and then a third floor apartment. PROS: -Reasonably priced and several floor plan options -Great location with quick highway access -friendly and responsive management. Maintenance requests are quickly filled and easy -grounds are well maintained, rarely saw dog poop laying around, pools and hot tubs always seemed clean CONS -in our First floor apartment we often found roaches. Not a problem when we moved to floor 3. They offer once a week bug sprayers for this. -the AC unit sounds like a jet engine. You can barely watch TV or have a conversation more than 10 ft away when it's running -our first floor unit was broken into while I was home. The guy ran off. Management responded by upping security, but we never felt 100% safe there after that. -you'd think they hire DJs at the pool as loud as people decide to play their music there. If a wanted to hear that, I'd go to Mariquis. -rarely used the grills bc they were often dirty and sometimes not even working. All in all, my time here wasn't bad, and we only left because we were leaving town. Not bad, but not great. read more

*This was typed 7/2012. Just found it in my yelp drafts... FANTASTIC apartment complex!! I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Before moving to The Paramount, I searched in Anthem, Seven Hills, Green Valley Ranch, Spring Valley, and Summerlin. I checked crime statistics, am/pm traffic to different locations, distance from the strip/entertainment, food, and the airport. I checked everthing...because I'm crazy like that and my inner Type A personality seems to take over when apartment hunting. Take advantage of all of my hardwork and know THESE ARE--BY FAR--THE BEST APARTMENTS IN LAS VEGAS! Funny thing is, I wasn't going to move here because I wanted to save a little money. When I called and heard how expensive they were compared to the cheaper apartments across the street (Park Villas), I thought, "No thanks! I can live cheaper than that." Fast forward to lease signing day--I had an appointment with a Park Villa leasing agent but she was "running late" and not even on the property. Nice. I decided to kill a little time and walk across the street to The Paramount. Lisa greeted me in their fantastic clubhouse and for some reason, two seconds later, I was taking a tour. After seeing the pool, fitness center, and being amazed by the model home I said, "I'll take it!!" Lol. So much for saving money... The kitchen, tub, and location of the ready-to-move-in apartment was perfect for me. #destiny. Sorry Park Villas: Paramount, 1--Park Villas, nil. Anyway, I've been here for almost a year and I cannot think of one complaint. And, just so you know--that's a miracle for me. :) PROs: 1. Every unit has granite countertops, cherry cabinets, a huge garden tub, and a built-in alarm system 2. The grounds are always well maintained 3. The ladies in the office are extremely friendly and memorize everybody's name. They greet you by name whenever they see you--pretty impressive and an excellent form of customer service 4. It's a quiet and clean community 5. The pool(s), fitness room, and clubhouse are nice. The fitness room could be bigger but eh. Oh well. At least there's LifeFitness equipment so it isn't crappy. 6. Maintenance is quick and friendly 7. Neighbors are friendly; most of them are young professionals...and some may be "Vegas professionals" due to the insane amount of luxury cars in the parking lot. Seriously, I've never seen so many BMW's, Mercedes, and Lexus' in an apartment parking lot. 8. It's across the street from a park that's full of walking trails, doggy play areas, and swings/playgrounds for kids. The park is also nestled with benches, gazebo's, and a softball field. 9. It's less than 5mins from the airport and strip. 10. The clubhouse offers free food and coffee every morning. CONs (...if I had to list some): 1. When I moved in, my apartment smelled horrible!! I ignored it at first, thinking the apartment needed to be aired out. Wrong! I could tell the previous tenant had a dog and the carpet was inadequaty cleaned. I voiced my complaint with the leasing office and they arranged for an outside cleaning company to reclean my apartment. One problem: I had already completely moved in and was told I'd be responsible for moving my furniture for the carpet cleaning. Um, saaayyy whaaa!!?? Clearly, I was angry but all of that went away when they offered me a $100 visa gift card (for my troubles) and a super snazzy air freshner you can't even find in stores. I love fragrances and, I guess, the Leasing Manager overheard me mention how great the club house smelled. Although the carpet issue had already been resolved, she offered to buy me my very own snazzy airfreshner for my apartment. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! 2. Abnormally loud HVAC but you'll get used to it. 3. You have to pay $25 for a fitness room key. Wth!!? I'm assuming you get it back--I wouldn't know; I copied a friends key :) --but that's a bit absurd. If I weren't moving back to CA, I'd definitely renew my lease. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR--RENT HERE!! You won't regret it. ***Move out update: I got most of my deposit back. If you clean your apartment--picture #2-#5 are my move out photos--you should too. Stay away from this place!!!. Its a nice place, especially their different floor plans. I chose to live in the town homes. At first I felt like I was at home when I first moved in until I started getting warnings from my neighbors how much the landlord fines and complains about everything. The management wont accept rent unless its all in full. They force you to be late so they can get there fees and legal fees etc. They don't even have a rent drop box, so the tenants can actually pay on time. If you choose to pay online they will charge a $60 fee on top of your rent. The management are rude! When I surrendered my lease, which I never wanted to do, the lady in the office wanted to change the reason why I wanted to move out. SMH!!! This place is such a disappointment because it is very beautiful. SMH. If your rent is $1400 and you're short $50 they wont accept it. I search for places and before I moved in here I checked the yelp reviews about this place and it was all bad, but I was stubborn and I moved into this place anyways.... I should've trusted the reviews. Also you can hear your next door neighbors conversation because the walls are very very thin... Make sure to whisper at all times, because if I can hear my next doors business, they can definitely hear mine. If you have visitors with dogs, beware cause you will get fine for it too. It looks expensive but the quality of their cabinets etc. are all cheap!!! The AC is loud as hell!!! I can also hear my neighbor walking up and down the stairs from my bottom master bedroom and hearing them talk... I'd rather live in a better place with better management... RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! This place doesn't care about their tenants, all they want is your money and they don't care if you surrender or break your lease because it's how they're getting paid.... When you break or surrender your lease, make sure you have over $8K to pay, or your credit is ruined. read more

I sincerely miss living here! I moved out of this complex after graduating from UNLV since I was relocating to San Diego for work. These apartments are gorgeous inside and out. It has all the bells and whistles: alarm system, car port, huge closets, huge bathrooms, and ceiling fans. My only complaint is that they don't offer units with gas stoves :( For myself, I didn't experience any challenges getting my deposit back and the move in conditions were great. I never had challenges with maintenance coming for repairs or other requests either. I did experience 1 cockroach in my 9 month lease, but if I were a cockroach, I'd probably try to get indoors too if its 110 degrees outside! Living here is definitely more costly than other places in Vegas, but the location and quality of the building is definitely worth it. Thumbs up Picerne! read more
