Instead of answering, she looked at me in a condescending way and asked, "Do you need an interpreter?" Instead of answers, I was asked if I needed a "translator"--after speaking English the entire time. That was disrespectful. And it told me my questions were not welcome. So I got a second opinion. I have changed my mind with the Super Dentists. After trying other pediatric dentists, I learned that the Super dentists were actually much better. Three of my children still go there. My son that used to have issues there when he was seven is now 15 and he is able to go in and get his dental work done. I apologize for the first review, but that was how I felt at the time. We have overcome a lot since then. I've also learned that my son is on the spectrum and has specialized needs, which is why he used to have a difficult time at the dentist. I do not recommend The Super Dentist for anyone with a child who requires special accommodations. They are not reliable, consistent, or well managed (at least at the Oceanside office.) Very disappointed with this dental office. We had an appointment and still ended up waiting for over 2 hrs in the lobby with no communication. When I finally addressed the issue, the staff member who originally checked us in was completely unprofessional & showed zero sympathy- no apology no nothing. She just okay "okay" took the iPad and walked away. The only person who tried to help was another staff member who stepped in & did her best to get my daughter seen as soon I addressed the issue. Management needs to train their staff better in communication, customer service, and showing genuine concern when an issue on their part occurs. I don't really recommend this place. My child goes to My Kids Dental in Vista, and the staff at the front are the sweetest. The assistants who actually work on my child's teeth are also very kind. However, I came here for an extraction for my child, and while the front staff were super sweet, Noah (or whatever his name is) was very bland and rude. If you're going to work around children, you should at least be welcoming and have a smile present a more warm environment. There was no warm or comforting vibe at all. My daughter had teeth extracted and was obviously distraught and crying afterward. He immediately kicked me out of the room after the procedure instead of allowing me to sit and calm her down. I think if you are working with children, you should be more inviting and compassionate. This dentist just doesn't give that. I highly recommend going somewhere else. Where to begin... I had began coming here last year as my kids had a rough experience at a different office. I was a bit nervous about bringing them in at first because of the other office but nevertheless I brought them here and no regrets at all. My office experience was great and above my expectations super helpful and the employees are very knowledgeable about procedures, treatments and routines. Today my three kids had a routine checkup and Cassandra was super friendly and very understanding with my kids and made them feel safe and made the visit fun. My oldest having Autism there are times where she can be difficult but she made her really comfortable and accommodated to her needs which I appreciated so much. I don't recommend coming here they put sealant on my 9 year olds 4 teeth charging me $150. I know I asked if that was covered by my insurance be cautious at the beginning the ladies in the back will have you sign something before your kids can be seen that's you agreeing to whatever amount of money they can scam from your insurance then you have to pay the remaining balance. The WORSE!!! For starters you wait for over 30 minutes to be called. Took my son on Monday for a cleaning, the worse cleaning he's ever had! Was told he had 4 cavities and needed 1 crown. They said my son needed 7 sealants, I was charged $175 for sealants. I decided to seek a second opinion, especially known for their reputation of adding work that is not needed. Thursday I went in for a second opinion at a different Dentist. Well he did not need a crown and had 3 cavities. I was also made aware that I shouldn't have be charged for sealants because it is fully covered by his insurance. This is frustrating!!! I'm not the only one I'm sure, they send text messages with promotions for sealants when most insurance covers it. I will not take my son to Super Dentist. read more

The dentist is already a scary place for kids. My daughter was dreading going and then we got the most awful hygienist-she was so rude and insensitive. I told her it was only my daughter's second time at the dentist. She was lazy and was cleaning my daughter's mouth with one hand? Very snappy and then pulled my daughter's bottom lip like that was going to make her open her mouth wider? After she did that i said she needed to get us someone else. I think they said her name was Cesia, but could be wrong. They said they would put on file not to have that lady help us again but we won't be going to that location at all for future appointments. Today I took my son to pick up his new retainer and was very happy with how much time and attention the orthodontist gave him. He made sure that he understood how to insert and remove it and when to wear it, etc.... What really impressed me was the many little adjustments that were done so it could feel just right. TRASH! son had braces there taken off in 2022- since then routine exams and cleanings. I took him to a new dentist due to their wait times at your appointment being over an hour and new dentist told us he had glue still from the braces on his teeth. called the manager and they tried to downplay my concern. "that doesn't happen" well I took him in and proved it did happen. Asked for a resolution and Taylor said "we took care of it." they are doing fraud billing due to failed services at cleanings and exams. They severely overcharged us for an annual tooth exam for our two year old. We took our two year old in to The Super Dentists for her first visit. The exam is fully covered by our Aetna plan. However, we received a bill for $111 from the Super Dentists. We contacted Aetna and they told us this facility overcharged us as Aetna will only cover up to a certain amount. Aetna told us these dentists are not supposed to do that. They charged a $80 dollar fluoride fee, a documentation fee $46- which is to keep your file on hand ... which is odd since they have no physical files - it's all digital. Costs on the information superhighway are up?? They overcharged what they and Aetna agreed would be covered so they could make a $111 ... this dental office is worse than a shady auto mechanics shop in my opinion... I'm not sure where else to go, but unless you have government assistance where all of your care is covered don't go here with any sort of premium insurance program - or they will up charge you just to milk more dinero out of you. read more
