    How It Flowin again came back out and did a follow up inspection on my back-flow unit. Sam was the…read moretechnician and I couldn't have asked for a nicer, more knowledgable person. Sam walked me through the whole process and explained each step along the way. Ultimately the problem was a check valve that had lost it's O ring. She replaced the necessary part and rechecked the system, which passed. Great job Sam, I appreciate your patience and for a job well done. Thank you Howz It Flowin Again. Back on track!

    They have inspected our backflow device for a few years now. This year it allegedly failed the…read moreinspection. We had someone come out and clean, flush, & inspect the backflow and found it to be in good clean working order. While the one who cleaned it wasn't certified to do the county inspection, we had Howz It Flowin come back out for a retest, in which they claimed it failed again. The very next day we had one of their techs come out to "repair" the backflow. All their tech did was take 1 piece apart and used a scrub pad for less than 10 seconds on something that was already cleaned and then all of a sudden it passed. I was charged an additional $165 for what looked like an attempt to just get more money out of us. They provide the cheapest backflow inspections service but I highly suspect they are only failing some just to charge more money. I have serious concerns with that, as I physically watched what they did and it was practically nothing. Perhaps it was an inexperienced tech who failed it the 2nd time who shouldn't have been inspecting in the first place but that means they shouldn't have charged me an additional $165 after I already had the alleged issue corrected by a master plumber. I will certainly pay closer attention to their inspections in the future.

I must commend him for being kind enough to call me when he was stuck in traffic, so I knew he might be a few minutes later than expected. Very professional, he singlehandedly removed that 80 gallon tank and replaced it with a new 50 gallon one (at my request - I am no longer in need of the larger capacity).     My neighbor and her husband are both over 80 years old, and disabled. They contacted Best to repair…read morea service mast that pulled lose when a tree fell on a power line during hurricane Ian. The Best technician arrived and quoted my neighbor a price of $3500. My neighbor told the technician they did not want to proceed due to the cost. My neighbor then called Best's office to tell them they did not want any service rendered because the cost was too high, and to cancel the monthly "membership" they purchased - which was supposed to provide a small discount on services. My neighbor was assured her credit card would not be charged. Two days later, my neighbor contacted her bank and was told Best had charged $3500 to her credit card!! Four phone calls have been made to Best Home Services so far requesting a refund of the money fraudulently charged to her credit card. So far, all Best has done is promise to refund the money they stole, no refund has been issued as of yet. My neighbors live on a fixed income and are emotionally distraught by Best Home Services dishonesty. Another electrician came out and replaced the service mast and wiring for $994. This is a perfect example of price gouging by a company that is deliberately taking advantage of senior citizens after a disaster, not to mention a blatant act of fraud!! BEWARE of Best Home Services, they are unethical and dishonest. This happened in North Port, Florida.

The Daikin unit leaks. Buy a Daikin at your own peril. Also, Gator sold to Del-Air in 2025. Del-Air serviced the unit once in late November 2025. problems ever since. I don't trust Daikin, I don't trust Del-Air, and Gator did their long time customers dirty. I am buying a new ac unit from a trustworthy company this week. Thousands of money down the drain. Thanks Gator. Thanks Daikin. zero star rating if I could.

Services contract has a different person show up each time with observable inefficiencies and have noted signs of trying to upsell items, products, services each visit. They don't always have company identification or uniforms. The latest service tech (Paul) took one of my non working Honeywell thermostats off the wall mount away with him to check with his supervisor and they haven't made me aware of the status of this replacement for 2-3 weeks! I called a few times to ask about this and ai computer software told me they would look into it and I have yet to hear back. Today I had a time they approved and scheduled with me to come back to my house and reinstall a replacement thermostat sometime between 8:00am and noon. No one called me and no one showed up! I called the office twice and left two requests to call me back and have yet to hear anything. I pay monthly for a service contract warranty and this is a very unpleasant unprofessional way to operate a business. Ugh. Follow-up. I called the office twice and they have not called or texted me about returning and installation my working thermostat. I don't have much confidence at all in this company and I would give them a zero today, if I could. Value would be very low with them.
