Most of the food and popular sushi you would expect at a sushi place like cucumber rolls and California weren't even on the conveyer. This place used to be really good. We went this weekend (03/23/2025) and it just wasn't as cool as it used to be. It felt like they had only the same 5 items on the conveyer belt. All of them with Krab. (The fake stuff). I know we could have asked for specific items but the point is, they didn't update anything ont the belt. I seem to remember there being a better of variety when they first opened. The ambient feeling inside was...it's just a former shell of what it was. I certainly hope I'm wrong. The service was excellent I would say it wasn't my main concern. I was seated within minutes and served my drink after 2minutes. The only issue I had was the sushi rice was extremely mushed and the salmon nigiri was extremely thinly sliced and not as fresh as hoped for. As you can you I left the rice and only ate the salmon n seared salmon. The udon noodle soup temperature wise was hot and broth was great! I brought a friend because we both love sushi. The place was pretty full but we were seated right away. My friend was blown away by this concept and it made our visit so enjoyable. We must of eaten 15 plates of food but the great thing is the portions ate small. The whole idea is to take what you like from the conveyor belt and try different things. Everything was good, service was nice, and cost rnded up comparable to what two meals would have cost. My only suggestion would be for the covers to be clearer plastic or labels on them so you know what your getting. We'll be back! read more

**experience during covid-19 ** This was ordered through yelp app and was delivered to a small table outside my house. Delivery person was wearing a mask and also text me upon delivery. Delivery was much faster than what was expected and everything we ordered was correct. Warm rolls and edamame still at a good temperature to enjoy. Other rolls packed perfectly into a small to go box. I ordered a variety of rolls to try and create my own sushi buffet while watching football. It was needless to say very enjoyable. Sushi is definitely my love language, so we wanted to try the only revolving sushi restaurant in El Paso. The salmon nigiri was priced well, the quality of the fish is also good. Same with the ikura and the hamachi. The tuna however is a dollar more and with the same good quality. I had crab tempura sushi I didn't take a picture of, but I probably should order fresh next time because the tempura was soft and NOT crunchy at all. We also ordered most of our food fresh from the bar, because most of what we wanted was not on the conveyer belt. The yakisoba although toddler approved, is a bit on the sweeter side. 4/10 probably would opt for another menu item next time. read more

Not sure why the name is what the name is... but I just dropped 4-Stars, so clearly the name doesn't brother me that much. I have been fine for two years. But now I'm back, and there are a FEW new sushi and ramen places in the every growing city of El Paso. So which ones do I try? Why do I try them? This is El Paso's first conveyor belt sushi. They do have conveyor belt sushi in Japan, so I thought why not give this a try with some very close friends (one of which that is a legit green card toting Japanese citizen - and was the one that recommended here), and I'm glad we did. This place, is actually owned / operated by Japanese persons. Which is a plus. Not that anyone can't make any kind of food, but don't you at least feel like you're getting about as authentic Japanese cuisine as possible in El Paso when it's being prepared and made for you by people from Japan? Make sense? The sushi gets made, and placed on plates, and a conveyor belt spins it around the entire restaurant. See one you like? Grab it. Eat it. Repeat. At the end when your hearts (and guts) content, you pay based off how many plates you've consumed. The plates are colored, and each color has a different price. The prices / colors are listed on the wall near the cashier. There IS menu too. You can order other items, like sushi and udon, that won't be zipping around the place on the belt. Everything is pretty fairly priced, and it Tastes as good, of not better, than majority (not ALL, but this place is a Top 3), Sushi places in town. Because of convenience and price and quality, this will probably be my go-to now for sushi, unless someone REALLY wants to go somewhere else. When you have less than 20 mins and feel like sushi, conveyor belt sushi will get you in and out quickly. It's inexpensive with the plates being from $1.85-$4.75 and they just add up the colored plates once you're done. I've been there several times in the past and took my mother in law and kiddos on separate occasions so it's always a hit or miss here.I wasn't impressed the last time I went to Sushiing since the quality went down but decided to give it a chance again since I really wanted some seared salmon sushi and was in a rush. To my pleasant surprise the plating and quality VASTLY improved and upon thanking the chef,. realized it was someone I knew from Tsunami Sushi in the Northeast! No wonder the quality improved so much, from the cuts to the rice to the plating. I asked him why he changed locations and he said he wanted steadier hours to be there for his toddler. Conveyor belt sushi is a more controlled experience with the food ready to go for the clients and continuously made fresh all day. It's more work, but they won't get backed up as much with orders. I'm really happy for him and happy that the food has improved so much. That goes to show you that in this environment, having the right employees matter and a place that you might have written off might have changed for the better. Pretty excited a rotating sushi bar is here in town. I would suggest this place to anyone in town who enjoys sushi or for adventurous eaters. For those who don't know, sushi goes around a conveyor belt and you can pick up whatever you want to eat. Since it's not all you can eat, and you pay per plate, the price can rack up pretty quick. I easily racked up a bill of $60+ for just me. However, for me it was totally worth it. You can find certain types of sushi you can't find anywhere else in town such as sweet shrimp. The quality and freshness of the sushi itself can be variable however, especially if they have been rotating all day. If you aren't in the mood for sushi, they also have bowls and other things like calamari available. You can also order directly if you are craving a certain thing on the menu. This place is also great if you are in a rush because there will also be sushi already available once you walk in. Overall, I would suggest this place to everyone in town. Went on Sunday pretty sure this place gave me food poisoning. When I grabbed a sushi that was the last one they asked me if I wanted a fresh one. First of all if you know it wasn't fresh why would u have it on still? I said no because I feel bad for guy because it was literally just him. They also overcharge and everything is room temp they don't give you any sauce on the side like what if the amount on the sushi isn't enough for me? Secondly they had some new waitress out she didn't really know what she was doing which is understandable but at least have someone experienced behind her making sure she's doing stuff right. They didn't even have a lot of sushi on the conveyer belt and had at max 15 options most of them being appetizers and pocky sticks. The waitress and sushi chef were all nice but wouldn't go again. If you're looking for value and variety this is worth a try. A conveyor brings small plates of sushi around the dining area and you pick what looks good to you. The sushi is good but certainly not premium fish. There are some fun rolls created by the in house chefs that were fun to taste. Parking is in a strip mall and can be busy. We got lucky and got a good spot but I can see how you may have to park a little further away during busy hours. So after hearing good things about this from our Japanese coworkers in the Viscount branch, I finally decided to give it a try. I went during my lunch break on a weekday and the place was empty. I was greeted nicely by a Japanese chef, which was a pleasant surprise. Being in El Paso, seeing a Japanese chef in a Japanese restaurant is very very rare... I only had an hour for lunch and I had already used 15 min for driving down there but good thing about sushi go round is that you never have to wait for your food - just start grabbing whatever you want on the conveyer! Luckily it was a slow day so the chef was making me sushi so I didn't have to wait for my favorite sushi to come around my table. Since everything was freshly made, I enjoyed even more. So I could be biased due to the fact that this is my first revolving sushi restaraunt and I have always wanted to try it for the longest time. But i finally got a chance to try it and it seemed more promising than another location locally. I was so happy with this discovery! I got so excited seeing all the lil plates of food just slowly passing me by. They all seemed so inviting but i tried to select the ones i know i would enjoy and finish as to not waste food. I quickly spotted what i thought was takoyaki, which is also something ive been wanting to try forever. It turned out to be cream puffs with chocolate syrup lol. I guess i got too excited. Thats ok tho! I have my dessert ready! So i ordered a side of takoyaki. The first thing i tried was some salmon nigiri. Boy did that first bite make me nervous. It tasted absolutely revolting, like it had some of the kitchens cleaning agent on it somehow. I was so scared to even keep trying. But i thought maybe the rolls would be more promising. And luckily they were. The 2nd salmon nigiri piece was actually good and fresh tasting thank God. I still cant get that awful first bite out of my head though, so luckily everything else made up for it. The plates have certain colors which pertain to its designated price and its also broken down on the menu to alleviate any further confusion. I got a lil too excited at a lot of the dishes i saw like some seared ahi tuna nigiri and yellow tail tuna nigiri which was actually my favorite! It had this delicious orange flavor with some soy sauce maybe. It was perfect! There was also baked mussels which were great! The takoyaki was just ok to me. I dont really know what would be considered good or bad but it had 2 very small pieces of octopus tentacle and the rest was just mostly dough. I didnt enjoy the mayo on iy neither. The eel sauce seemed sufficient. I definitely enjoyed myself a lil too much and did not keep track of the dollars adding up lol. Its ok though! I appreciated several good reviews left by our fellow Yelpers on this restaurant, and I wanted to check it out for a while. I finally drove over to it and tried it today. It's a Japanese-style Kaiten- (a revolving belt conveyor) zushi restaurant! It's fun to watch your plates of food go around the entire restaurant in itself, and I think it adds an excitement when you find and pick up what you want right in front of you. It's a very simple concept, but it never gets old for me. I recently made a trip to Japan, and I enjoyed Kaiten-zushi there, too. You can basically enjoy your sushi in two ways in this restaurant. You can pick what you may like up in front of you from the belt conveyor yourself, or you can order what you want to one of sushi chefs. The price of sushi is clearly indicated by the color of plate they are on. Green--$1.50; Yellow--$2.50; Blue--$3.00; Red--$4.00. Nigiri always comes as a pair. When you are done eating, your wait staff will add up how much you ate. I tend to be a purest when it comes to sushi. I never liked a lot of sauces (especially mayonnaise mixture of some sort either with something hot like sriracha sauce or something sweet like eel sauce) on all varieties of rolled sushi. I also tend to avoid anything deep fried as part of sushi (or deep-fried rolled sushi with tempura coating), so my choices could be very limited. I really don't have to eat whole a lot of what I like anymore, so I tend not to spend too much money (that's very hard to do at any sushi bar). Wait staff and sushi chefs are very friendly and accommodating. From the minute you enter this establishment with a cheerful welcome and until you leave with cheerful "thank yous," someone is constantly taking care of you making sure all your needs are met. At times it might become overwhelming, but that's the way they take care of you and your business here. I arrived just before noon on Friday, and it wasn't too crowded. Besides sushi, you can order/pick up salad items, rice bowl items with different topping and noodle dishes from the menu if you like. I will be back. It's a fun place to eat. read more

Ordered to go the bulgogi beef, spicey pork and the shrimp udon.. it was alright i have had better but ur choices are limited in this area. I will say that the udon soup was very good! Super clean place, customer service was top notch, quiet and a great place for a large group. The owners are super attentive of their customers and they have plenty of other food items not on the menu. The sushi was great and the owners seem to be japanese so the sushi is on point. I stuffed my face till i couldnt walk for 30 bucks u could go cheaper but i kept trying everything that passed by... here is a thing to think about they have bowls so if u get a bowl and a few pieces ur bills should be around15-18 bucks. If you want something that you do see on the belt you can always request it. Fun experience if you have never been to anything like this (none of our group had). There is very limited seating. Food was good, reasonably priced. Service is a little slow (having to ask and wait a couple of times for water refills-but there seemed to be one waiter/host/cashier, a man of many hats). We did keep waiting to see different items come around, but for the hour+ we were there we only saw the same few items. You can ask the server or sushi chefs for things off the menu and they will make it specifically for your table though (very nice of them). However when we went there was very little options on the conveyor belt so we pretty much had to order everything we wanted and barely used the belt at all. Despite that, the food was very tasty. My favorite was the muscles and the Mexican roll. The restaurant wasn't decorated too extravagantly but was very comfortable. I felt like we got a lot of food for 4 people and was very affordable. This reminded us back in Hawaii. We used to eat at this place genki sushi. It was our go to sushi place. So when we saw that there was one here, we HAD to go. We will definitely go back. The only thing I'd say is that the rice didn't stick. Every time I'd pick one up the rice would fall apart. And our waitress seemed a little stuck up. But those flaws won't stop up from coming back. *Just like anywhere, sushi is expensive. And the price does rack up especially when it sooo good and you pile plate after plate! Stopped by again to get my sushi fix. This place is a really good value. They have a pretty good variety of options on the menu, the sushi pieces taste good, and the price is reasonable. I can't rate any of the items taken from the conveyor belt yet because I have only been eating items which are prepared per order. I had the red snapper, salmon, yellowtail, tuna, and spider roll. The fish on the nigiri sushi pieces were a little bit on the thin side compared to most sushi places I've been to but this may be due to the price point. I don't usually like eating sushi rolls, but this spider roll was awesome. It had the perfect blend of crunchy texture, flavor, and size. I think I'll order this every time I come here. I read some previous reviews and have to say that the sushi that I've had from here is better than the sushi that I have bought from the grocery stores. The service was good. I had the same waitress & saw the same sushi chefs from my last visit. They are all friendly and attentive. My only complaint on this visit was that I ordered water to drink, and think it may be just tap water with ice as it had a noticeable salt/mineral taste to it. I had iced tea at my last visit so this was new. I would recommend ordering something else to drink unless they start using filtered water for their drinks. Highly recommend this restaurant. It has a conveyor belt, which is cool, and the plates on the belt are geared to a more American palette. They also have a side menu where you can order nigiri, sides and more that is more traditional Japanese . Everything comes in small plates so you can sample the whole restaurant for cheap.
