We were in town for a work trip and looked online for a good local brewery to visit. We sent an online message and got a call back right away! So we went by for a brew and a tour with the GM Michael. It was incredible! Their beer is delicious. The facility is spotless and very covid safe. The true selling point was learning about the care and attention to detail they put into their brewing process. From using the finest ingredients to an actual test lab in house, these folks truly put the craft in craft beer. We will be watching for these on the shelf back home! This place is HUGE people!! They have games, music and so much seating!! I really like the hipster/cool vibe. Sat at the bar and Christine our bartender was super sweet and attentive. Be warned although they have parking if it is packed you will have to walk a bit to get to it. It is totally worth it though! Great beer selection and the food is bomb. I felt like I was waiting for their grand opening forever after asking around and sampling their beers at several beer events. Now that I've visited the brewery quite a few times, I'm familiar enough to offer feedback. First off, the place is immense, and the parking isn't a problem like most breweries in the Miami area. I like the art they have on display and the overall vibe although some might consider sterile, is ample and can host many people without being squeezed into a small spot. My initial concern was that the venue was larger than they can handle. Now that I see how congested Miami can get, a little elbow room never hurt anyone. I'd have to say the variety of taps are limited but again it's just enough. They have about 7 or 8 brews that they make in-house and most of them are featured in restaurants and bars across Miami. Chances are, you've tried their beer elsewhere and wondered where their home base is. Well, it's conveniently located on Milam Dairy road in between NW 36th St & NW 58th St on the west side of the road. You can't miss the logo. I do wish their happy hour had a bit more incentive but I'm sure with time, they'll work the kinks out. read more

Tank brewery is the REAL deal guys. It's located in what seems like a warehouse/office section in the doral area. From outside you don't realize it but the second you walk in you realize how huge this place is. It has a cool industrial vibe to it and a large open layout. They have small tables if you just came with a date or large tables perfect for drinking and playing games with friends. From the taproom you can see into one of the rooms they produce their beer locally in house. Now on to the beers!! Ladies, my recommendation is go for "la finca" it's light with great flavor. My boyfriend loved the double IPA and byronic brown and my friend was obsessed with "freedom tower". But do yourself a favor & sample all of them! They use the highest quality ingredients and it really shows. The food at Tank actually comes from a food truck that you'll see outside as you're walking in. You have to try their GUAVA manchego burger y'all. It was even voted one of the top burgers in south Florida. Can't wait to come back with some more friends and enjoy a chill night of great beer, food, and fun. read more

I can't say how excited I am about this new brewery to hit Miami! The location, compared to popular belief, is prime, we need something in that area and it will bring in many different crowds. It's close to the airport so it can be a great spot for some people who have a long layover at MIA. There's lots of businesses as well in the area and this is a great spot to venture to after work, for work events, client visits, etc. It's located in a huge warehouse and the outside of the building is painted very cool! They have a great food truck there called the Twisted Fork Kitchen and I can say that their guava burger, and duck wings are legit! The large open layout gives them endless opportunities for events. In the tasting room there are games to play, and then a large window that you can see them brewing the beer. On weekends they do tours, and trust me when I say making beer is an art, a science actually. The Beer. I love their clever Miami names for the brews! They have been brewing beers for a while now and their 3 main brews are legit! My personal favorite is El Farito, an American IPA! Even my friends who are not IPA fans really enjoy it! Freedom Tower, and American amber is a easy drink and a great beer for non beer drinkers and also sophisticated beer drinkers. La Finca Miami - a great saison! Also, their Abbey collection is legit, I've tried the 6, and looking forward to trying more. Grab a flight while you're at it and check them all out! Adjacent you will find a cigar bar where you can enjoy your cigars, called Plasencia Cigars! Not only is their logo just amazing, but their slogan #SipAndDiscuss how classy! I was there on a Saturday night that was not too busy but the place was mysteriously understaffed either way. Our server kinda just gave up on coming to our table. Would've ordered more drinks, but felt like my money would be better spent elsewhere. I did try a couple beers, nothing on the J Wakefield level but not bad. The guava/manchego burger my wife and I shared was beyond flavorless, could've used a bunch of salt and pepper or at least some bitter or salty toppings to counterbalance the sweetness of the guava. My friend's bahn mi was much more flavorful, so I'll chalk our bland burger up to inconsistency and not incompetence. Nothing outstanding about the place, except for the size. read more

TANK is unique among the Miami breweries I've visted, mainly because of its layout and size. This place is HUGE and can accomodate large groups. It's a giant warehouse that's been cleaned up, but still has an industrial feel. My GF and I went on a Thursday and were a little surprised at how lively it was. There were probably 70 people and loud karaoke. They have table games available, too. We met a couple from the Keys next to us and we all played the ring and hook toss game that is popular amongst bars (think the old Scotty's in Coconut Grove). Beers: they are worth trying! I am a huge amber ale fan, so I immediately went for the Freedom Tower. Honestly, it wasn't my favorite amber that I've ever had. It's got a slightly metalic finish, whereas I prefer a subtle sweet one. I gravitated towards La Finca next and was much more satisfied. I guess it's a flagship beer for a reason. It's got a very crisp finish and will be an excellent beer for the summertime. The El Farito is a great beer for someone who likes a strong drink with a little citrus flavor. I know these beers are surging in popularity right now. El Farito is a solid contender in this area. Because of the size of this place, there are so many options for them to host events. The sound quality is something they'll have to deal with if they are trying to have live music. But that wasn't causing anyone to have less fun! I was driving with Christa the Gringa from Hialeah and I saw what looked like a brewery in the middle of 72 Ave. I made a u-turn just to look at their menu but once I saw it was happy hour decided to stay for a beer. The tasting room is huge with a Domino table and Cornhole setups inside. The happy hour is $3 and $4 of their beer and it is pretty good. We also had the mango and guava burger which is delicious but a little overpriced at $16 considering it doesn't come with fries or chips. I can't wait to make that at home. The brewery in Hialeah! this place is spacious and has great service. We had a little birthday drinks for my wife and her friends. We got there a little early, had a drink by the bar and ordered the guava burger from the food truck (highly average and nothing special). The selection of craft beer is good that will appease anyone, whether you like it or not. The service was really good and quick, granted that you are basically only getting drinks, the server was constantly on the lookout for almost empty glasses and quickly refilling them. I met up with some friends at the brew yesterday for the heat game, a very stressful time for the staff there because of occupancy and of course the pandemic. I made my reservation with fernie who was so sweet to accommodate my group and very pleasant to speak to over the phone. Veronica attended my group and I when we got there and although she was tough with the rules due to the pandemic she was an amazing server. She was funny, talkative, and resilient, she was keeping the brew together in times of stress which made us feel comfortable and safe. First word. Huge. The place is gigantic. Lots of parking and they do have valet parking for those that prefer it. They do have a nice selection of beer. I had the Oakes Stout. Not a bad beer but honestly I could distinguish it from the Rye Lingual Stout. My favorite is the Freedom Tower. A solid beer. The place is big and loud. The staff seems friendly. This is a good place to bring a large group or if you are interested in watching a big game with a lot of people. I also ordered the brisket. The meat was good but the slaw left something to be desired. I do enjoy some of the beers that Tank has to offer but I'm not sold on the venue. I'm keeping an open mind and am willing to give the place another try. 4 stars for the quality beer. read more

I have been dying to try the Tank since it opened. I am a fan of their Freedom Tower so I was excited to sample more of their beers. My better half and I came on a weekday, the day before the 4th of July, around 5pm and were pleased to find that happy hour lasts until 6pm. Happy Hour includes $3.00 12 ounce pours of La Finca and Freedom Tower. Our server, Lawrence, was phenomenal. He was very friendly and helpful when it came to some of the other beers. I liked that the bartenders/servers provide service to the tables, which can sometimes be out of the norm depending on the brewery you're visiting. In addition to the Freedom Tower, I tried samples of Byronic Brown, which was tasty and light, and Ventanita which is their nitro coffee brown ale. I was bummed because the food truck wasn't open on the day we visited, but that just means I need to make another trip :) The menu is pretty simple, but looks delish: burgers, wings, pulled pork. The size of Tank is ginormous. They have a huge projection TV on one wall that they show different games on. I subtly informed Lawrence that we are huge fans of college football, specifically FSU football, so if they show any of their games, we will set up camp at Tank to watch them :) We had a great time at Tank and look forward to going back very soon. read more
