The Tasty Weasel is the tasting room for Oskar Blues Brewing Co. I came in one evening to try out a tasting flight of beers. I sat at the bar and ordered a flight. The place was absolutely packed - with everyone having a good time. There was live music being played - which made it hard to hear anything. I had to yell to the bartender what my order was. Overall, all of my beers were enjoyable! #TheTastyWeasel #OskarBlues

My Dog. Sitting at the bar waiting for a beer... Or a peanut or something.

This is my favorite Bar in Longmont. Primarily because my Pup is welcome. He absolutely loves coming here! Great indoor and outdoor seating that is shaded in the afternoon. They don't serve food because it's dog friendly but you can DoorDash or order a pizza to be delivered here while you enjoy your beer.

*** Holy sh!t, the Gordon aged in whiskey barrels ftw! *** That's like 14% abv and it tastes like, I dunno, root beer? I am not a fan of sweet alcoholic drinks but it was unique. Dale's Ale is ok for like an everyday hang-out kinda thing. Gubna remains my fave ... it's gotta character all it's own. *** There is no food here ... so pls, drink responsibly. ***

Live music is ALWAYS a plus when you go to a brewery! The weather was nice enough that the garage doors were open and that made alot of sitting available. They have a great selection of beer. They also offer the Spiked Sprakling Water from tap! I always feel less bloated when I drink one of those. We had 2 daughters with us so of course they were glad that The Tasty Wiesel sold sandwiches & snacks! We'll have to go back again.

I love here. Wonderful atmosphere and tasty fresh beer My favorite is the Dale, so great tap. Always filled with friendly people. Tasty Weasel is always worth the drive from Boulder. Enjoy Fresh beer, great music and a cool atmosphere.

The outside is slightly confusing, but the patio is perfect to grab a brewed drink and sit outside with your friends. I love Longmont, and Spring is the perfect time for that patio experience. Otherwise, they do have a selection inside with plenty of seating. They have a ton of merchandise for sale and contests to enter. There is a bar seating area as well as the dining area. The Tasty Weasel is connected to the brewery and you can also get a tour of that factory part. The arcades are super cool, and they have various sections to play and also get social. I love the selection of the menu, and chill vibe it brings. The bathrooms are incredibly fancy, that's how you know you got it good.

Enough said on these pictures...awesome experience!

This is probably my best experience in terms of customer service...the staff (bartenders and tour guide) are sooo down to earth and so knowledgeable of their beers all the way from the history and fruitful suggestions on what beers to try. They set an awesome example of what an awesome environment for an afternoon hang out after work and I can't imagine on how on point they can be on the weeekend...definately a place to visit if your in the area...u will never be disappointed!!! Shout out to Oskar Blues and thier awesome staff! Will definately come back for more and spread the word about how an awesome brewery taste room should look and feel like...10 stars if they let it!

We had tried several of their beers in the past, and really enjoyed them. However, when we arrived at the brewery, they happened to be closed. After being disappointed for a moment, we, there were four of us, decided to stop at a brewery down the street. Luckily enough, this brewery just happened to be Bootstrap. As you can see from my 5 star rating, I really liked Bootstrap. Visiting at that specific time seemed meant to be because while sitting outside at their outdoor patio, we saw a beautiful double rainbow !! Some of the things that I liked about Bootstrap was the friendly staff!! They were very welcoming and gave us tips about where to go in Colorado. Also, there brewery was large with plenty of tables and a stage for live music, open mic nights and karaoke. And of course their beer was delicious with a wide selection to suit everyone's tastes.

Then more time passed and they closed the Niwot when and now only the Longmont location remains. Recently I had a beer from Bootstrap. It was the Chillax, a Pineapple Golden Ale. I thought it was alright but I'm not necessarily convinced I'm wildly in love with Pineapple beers. Just a little too sweet but I wanted to challenge myself on this occasion and I thought it was just fair. But as I said I have been to Bootstrap before... a few times actually and I have a lot more enthusiasm for their chile beer or their cherry ginger beer. So if you can get a hold of those definitely do. They are older beer releases and at the time I didn't see them but I'd definitely keep your eyes out for those!

Imagine my surprise when something hitherto unknown to me popped up, Collision Brewing Company. Wow, gotta go. Great place with unique offerings, I particularly liked the "Oil Skick", a black IPA. Photo attached. But I was impressed by the great service at the bar, and the menu. I'll be uploading some menu pictures in a bit, but what really caught my eye were the pierogis! Collision's offerings looked promising. Dining near the bar was full, so we got a whole room with windows aplenty to ourselves. Our waiter modeled good service. He greeted us quickly, brought waters before I could pick a beer, and quickly returned with my suds and took our order. We strolled down a hallway to the restrooms, passing games in the cool blue light. The bathroom was clean. Urinals are half kegs. I cracked up, then explained them to him. The expansive menu looks surprisingly diverse. I could have had pierogies, birria tacos, chicken fettuccine, PB & J, or one of the selections of burgers and sandwiches. I chose the French Dip on Asiago bread with a cup of green Chile. I could only eat half a sandwich, but knew leftovers would be gone by morning. This was one of the better French Dips I have had in a while. Green Chile? I came here from New Mexico and am not often impressed. This stuff was truly hot and had great flavor. Win win. The kids' steak plate has to be one of the best values I have seen eating out in Colorado. $10.95 w side. It stood out and did not disappoint. One of them was more well-done than medium rare, but stayed tender. Great seasoning. Beer: I l checked ratings, finding their highest-rated brew, GTA, a barrel-aged rye stout that definitely exceeded expectations. I agree with the high ratings. Shout out to our server for letting an adult who wasn't very hungry grab a kids' steak. Shout out to the prices, which would provide value even with lesser food. My sandwich came at a 2019-20 Denver price, at least $5 less than equally good comps in 2025. 4.5 stars round up to five. Recommended.

Unfortunately, this visit was completely different. The service was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We waited about 20 minutes just for drinks and eventually had to go up to the bar ourselves. When we asked about it, the bartender simply said, "I'm working on it," which was frustrating given how long we had already been waiting. There were 4 tales in the restaurant and like 8 employees Things did not improve from there. Our food came out very slowly and one of the meals had to be sent back. We ended up having to go to the bar multiple times, including for a to go box and even to get our check, because no one was checking on our table. To make matters worse, the menu states that guests are asked to limit their visit to 90 minutes. However, due to the slow and inattentive service, we were there for nearly two hours through no fault of our own. There also used to be a sense of customer service here, which seems to have changed. To top it off, gratuity was automatically added without it being mentioned or explained. That felt especially inappropriate considering we ended up doing a large portion of the service ourselves. It's like they figured they were getting auti gratuity so didn't provide any service Really disappointing experience overall. Not sure what changed, but this was a huge step down from our previous visit.

Seth provided amazing service and was fun to talk to. He recommended all the yummy stuff for us and even took my side of fried green beans vs cheese curds. They have indoor and patio seating options. We sat on the patio. The weather was beautiful! You request service by using a little sign on the table. Sign up means you need something, sign down means do not disturb. We actually really liked this model; whenever the sign was up service was super prompt and friendly. Wish more places did this. We started with the Colorado Poutine. For entrees our group ordered the Bacon Onion Jam Burger, White Cheddar Bacon Burger, Bulgogi Burger, and the Hatch Chile Philly. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. My fries were a tad over-salted, but still super tasty. I really liked how the toasted buns actually held up to the weight of the burgers. You know how some places use flimsy buns which fall apart while you eat burger? Not the case here. One of our party ordered the Fried Green Beans as their side. Personally I wasn't a fan, but they liked them a lot - said they were the best fried green beans they've ever had. If you're craving a hefty burger - this is the spot for you!
