The taproom is large but not cavernous feeling. You can view the brewery vats on one side and enjoy the air conditioning inside or use the front outside seating area which is sunny until the sun starts to lower in the west. The building is on the west of the patio and keeps the hot afternoon sunshine from overheating the area. I had a sour apricot beer and it was a little bit wine-like and a little bit beer-like, crisp and refreshing. We love the food trucks that park in front and it changes daily. We went on Turner's Pit BBQ night. Go to their site for my review. All in all, we will absolutely return and look forward to it. read more

This is my favorite Bar in Longmont. Primarily because my Pup is welcome. He absolutely loves coming here! Great indoor and outdoor seating that is shaded in the afternoon. They don't serve food because it's dog friendly but you can DoorDash or order a pizza to be delivered here while you enjoy your beer. read more

Live music is ALWAYS a plus when you go to a brewery! The weather was nice enough that the garage doors were open and that made alot of sitting available. They have a great selection of beer. They also offer the Spiked Sprakling Water from tap! I always feel less bloated when I drink one of those. My partner and I stopped by The Tasty Weasel last Thursday evening (3/14) to sample some brews. I had been in before, but he hadn't so I was excited to show him the place. The brews and the honky tonk hour were great, but the blonde hipster in the vintage Rockies mom jeans that served us was not. She was rude and impatient when when we were ordering. We sat down and she immediately asked us what we wanted (without greeting us first), then with a grimace look she stood in front of us expecting us to order ASAP even though my partner had mentioned it was his first time in. Since she was just staring at us, my partner asked her to recommend some beers and she responded "I don't really like many of the beers they have on tap" - not a great selling point. Throughout the night, we were ignored while she was 'entertaining' the brewers at the right end of the bar (near the bathrooms), then at one point she blew past us behind the bar muttering to herself "guess I'm fucking everything up". Maybe she was having a bad day, maybe she just thinks she's too cool to actually do her job. If it wasn't for the nice brunette with glasses working that night I don't think I'd ever come back as there's plenty of other craft beer options in Longmont. read more

The outside is slightly confusing, but the patio is perfect to grab a brewed drink and sit outside with your friends. I love Longmont, and Spring is the perfect time for that patio experience. Otherwise, they do have a selection inside with plenty of seating. They have a ton of merchandise for sale and contests to enter. There is a bar seating area as well as the dining area. The Tasty Weasel is connected to the brewery and you can also get a tour of that factory part. The arcades are super cool, and they have various sections to play and also get social. I love the selection of the menu, and chill vibe it brings. The bathrooms are incredibly fancy, that's how you know you got it good. read more

I wanted to update my review because of the outstanding, awesome service we get each and every time we get a chance to come to The Tasty Weasel. This is a live working brewery, and they can get pretty busy in there. Tour groups come in at times, and it can get slammed with folks, but every time our service is awesome. In particular, I want to commend Bonnie for always making an effort, even on busy days, to say hello and pet our two dogs. She is a friendly face sometimes on days when we are a little stressed. This is probably my best experience in terms of customer service...the staff (bartenders and tour guide) are sooo down to earth and so knowledgeable of their beers all the way from the history and fruitful suggestions on what beers to try. They set an awesome example of what an awesome environment for an afternoon hang out after work and I can't imagine on how on point they can be on the weeekend...definately a place to visit if your in the area...u will never be disappointed!!! Stopped at the Tasty Weasel for a special beer release yesterday. It was my first time in the new area, I think it is called the oak room. The release was handled well with opportunity to taste the new release before making a purchase of the special cans. The oak room was big with plenty of seating, a large projection screen with a game on. Staff was super friendly. Coffee and breakfast burritos were available for purchase. read more

We have been long time Tasty Weasel Supporters and Oskar Blues supporters, but that has recently changed for us. Like many Oskar Blues drinkers, we were VERY excited about the latest release of Barrel Aged Ten Fidy, and the Java version as well. Planning our whole day around the release, and using the information that Oskar Blues provided on their facebook account, which said they had "nuff for you" we waited a bit, but were still there just after the release started. Once we got there we found out that they had started selling early, and that the line was going VERY slow. After waiting in line for quite a while we were told that they were completely out of the JAVA. We at that point had had enough and left. We gave some money to a friend of ours to get some regular, but we were furious. We had been up there several times in the weeks leading up, and they said they had plenty. They also had no limit on purchasing and allowed people to buy many cases, we saw people wheeling them out on dollies. We still have a bunch of Oskar Blues Beer at our house, and still have a keg of Old Chub to drink, but we are done going to the Tasty Weasel, and we are likely done with Oskar Blues. There are so many other options now, and they just #)$*# on the people that support them day to day. I give very few 1 star reviews, but this was a horrible experience for us, ruined our day. read more

This has to be the coolest place that serves only beer ever! Why am I giving it only 4 and not 5 stars? Because I am from Texas and I went on a Thursday because it was the only day I could go and they do not do tours on Thursdays :( I was very impressed with the different types of beers they had and how the place is designed. I felt comfortable eating some peanuts and kicking back a few beers. Nice place to relax and get some good beer and a nice place to take a few friends to keep you company. I hope next time I visit I will be able to visit on a day they do a tour because I am very interested. read more

I've fought it and denied it and even sought therapy, but I'm at that point where I'm just reflexively concluding that Oskar Blues can do no wrong. The Tasty Weasel, located at the brewery on Sunset in Longmont, isn't helping. Notes: This is built into the side of the actual brewery. The smell of barley and hops is very strong in the air, and some people don't take it well. We'll just say that I do and leave it at that. Also, this place is dog friendly. Dogs are let loose and just wander around seeking affection from whomever they encounter. I like this also. And of course it is kid friendly, although the only non-alcoholic drink they serve is the Oskar Blues root beer, so be sure to bring your alcoholic kids. Tasty Weasel has the usual Oskar Blues suspects in abundance, with several special brews not available elsewhere along with a number of tasty canned treats that are hard or impossible to find anywhere else. There is no food, but there is a food truck. I won't spoil the surprise and tell you the menu, but suffice it to say my son can now tell his friends he has eaten alligator. The live music is pretty damn cool, with lots of blues on the menu. There is a shwag sale area to the side also, and in a side room they even have skeeball -- yes I said it, SKEEBALL. The Tasty Weasel is a great place, and has a lot of Oskar Blues beers that aren't in production. Most of their beers are a little too hoppy for my liking, although the TenFiddy, G'Knight, and Old Chub are all fantastic. The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and the peanuts are plentiful. Watch out for the "Hot Hot" Peanuts, which are definitely as advertised. I docked one star for no tasters on the tour, which should be a must for any brewery tour. read more

Warning- they only serve beer. No food, no booze. So if you're wanting some chow, head to the restaurant up the street. If you're interested in their brewing process and in tasting some truly unique beers, this is your place. They always have some Stranahan whiskey-cask-aged selections of their beers. Unfortunately, they won't give you large amounts of some of their smaller batches, just to be sure more people get a taste. The tour is casual and laid-back. The "tourguides" usually give the tours with a beer in their hand, so that's a plus too. They have a very large, lounge area next to the bar. They even have some couches which are super-comfortable to snooze on. read more

This has everything I love in a good tap room. First and foremost, they obviously have insanely good beer. Second, they have foosball. That's important. The Tasting Room is right in the brewery, and you are surrounded by the tanks and brewers as they come and go around you masterfully crafting the magic in your glass. It's a great atmosphere. My husband and I recently stopped by here on a business trip. We enjoyed the chance to have some Oskar Blues beers as well as the speciality ones that they were running. The atmosphere here is pretty packed. We got here at around 4-4:30 and there were not any seats. It did clear up though and we were able to find seats at the bar in about ten minutes. There is a nice selection of beers from Oskar Blues as well as a few speciality ones from them as well. There were also some themed choices, such as "Beet Cancer" and "Tickled Pink." I started off with Deviant Dales, which I really did enjoy and then tried Tickled Pink for something different. I would recommend both of these. They were refreshing and easy to drink. The service here was good. The bar was super busy, so I feel that we were able to receive our drinks in a fair amount of time. The prices are also reasonable and there are a number of options to take some beer home with you to enjoy, which is nice. Overall, I thought this was a great place to kick back and enjoy a beer after work. read more

Oskar Blues = granular transcendence in a can. The experience: There is a very good vibe in the place. Staff love working there, you can tell. I've been on a lot of brewery tours, this is by far the best one. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Then they have you pick out a free beer. What a fun time. The Beer: One of my friends said of Ten Fidy ( I want to have sexual relations with this beer). One of the if not the best Imperial Stouts I've ever had. I love Avery's Czar too. Both amazing. I'm a sucker for high alcohol and well balanced beers. All of Oskar Blues' offerings are such. Ten Fidy, Gubna, the Imperial Red and Old Chub were all fantastic. Met some cool people there too. Let me be honest with you, they already earned five stars for: - Being Oskar Blues' tasting room-Oskar Blues makes tremendously good beer, regardless of whether it's in cans for from the tap. - The name 'Tasty Weasel'. Having said that, the day after the Great American Beer Festival, I was really staring hard at my first beer. The six-beer tasting flight was intimidating indeed; what is ordinarily great, flavorful beer becomes something you're not quite sure your body can handle again. But i powered through it and gained strength through the day, and i like to think that they helped. The cask-aged Old Chub (in addition to regular Old Chub) was impressive, and compares best to my secret stash of Sam Adams' Utopias (but is a lot cheaper). Beer aside, they have a huge barrel of peanuts, no tv's, awesome decorations, and friendly bartenders. It's totally worth the trip. Just so you can say 'Tasty Weasel'. read more

The consistent other reviews are spot on. You cannot go wrong with any of the Oskar Blues' brews and the Tasty Weasel is the unofficial home. We inadvertently engaged in a front-range craft brewery tour on our stop in Longmont on our way west. Oskar Blues' tasting room was a perfect fix for a hot Sunday afternoon. The place indeed has an industrial feel, and is located in a nondescript industrial park. But inside there is loads of character. The small bar space is shadowed by the huge brew tanks just behind the bar (seriously, 30 feet tall). The beer itself is top-notch, with a variety of options depending on your particular taste bud. The bartenders are quick and will offer you a taste before buying into a pint. Highly recommended stop on any brewery tour of Boulder/Longmont/Ft Collins. read more

This is what a tasting room should be. I pulled into the parking lot of a very industrial looking building with a small sign that says "The Tasty Weasel"... interesting. I walk in to find an adorable tasting room with the mash tuns towering overhead. The whole place smells like hops and malt. I'm in heaven. A sampler will run you $7.50, and taking beer home is a pricey proposition... especially since I just can't get over the can thing. Bartenders/Pourers are very friendly and very willing to talk about their beer. Live music on Saturday nights... how cool is that??? Drink beer that literally just got made and listen to some live music?? Can't beat it. read more

My wife and I stopped by for the first time this weekend. We have been to the original location in Lyons a few times, but never had been to the new brewery location. All in all a great time. As I already knew, the beer is excellent. Being a fan of big beers, I really enjoy the Gubna as well as the Ten-Fidy. We happened to beer there at tour time and tagged along. The tour was well done and you get a free "rejected beer"! Having the tap room in the middle of the brewery is a excellent setting. You could smell the brew kettles at work while you were surrounded with the fermentation tanks. Good beer, live music, and free peanuts = a good time! It was on our way from the airport to Rocky Mountain National Park so we figured we'd stop by. This is exactly what a tasting room should be. Good fresh beer. They offered their complete line of beers and a couple brewery-only options as well. For 11 dollars you can get a sample of every one of the beers they have on tap, or for 7.50 6 tasters. Free peanuts to snack on and some bar games too. Plenty of space in the back so it was very comfortable. I just love fresh beer, good variety and good prices. Many breweries just don't seem to get it. Show pride in your product and people will appreciate it. Also the fact that they sell in cans was a plus since we bought a bunch to take camping with us. read more

Love this spot - fantastic beer, most of which is quite strong! Be careful and call a cab if you need to! Thankfully, the ABV is posted on the menu board. No food, but there is a big barrel of complimentary peanuts at the end of the bar. Have a seat in the room to your left as you walk in and peek at the factory floor over stacks of cans waiting to be filled, and let the kids play on the resident skateboard & tyke bike! Also, don't be afraid to try the special brews opened at 5:00 every Friday - the "Firkin' Friday" pints are usually fantastic, and go fast! read more

Love Oskar Blues craft beers and happy that I can continue to enjoy them back home in NJ minus the terrible experience that was on tap at the Tasty Weasel and Taproom. In a word: forgettable. The food was borderline disgusting; it tasted like nuked college cafeteria food. I wasn't expecting anything extraordinary here, but my enchiladas were bland despite being drowned in enough sauce for twice as much food. My wife's jambalaya was bland was basically a bowl of rice with tomato paste and some seafood that tasted freezer burned (well worth the $5 up charge). Our server effectively abandoned us once our orders were in. I was waiting to order a beer until I knew what I was getting for dinner. Before I could even tell Erin (?) what I wanted she had grabbed our menus and walked away. She breezed by the table a couple of times and barely stopped while asking "is everything good? Good." She seemed far more concerned with flipping our table for other guests; the place wasn't packed either so maybe she knew that we weren't going to be padding her tips that night. It was so bad that at one point another server checked on us to see if we needed anything. That's worth something, but we won't be visiting on our next trip to the Longmont area. Again, OB does craft beer right across many styles, but the Tasty Weasel management (and our server in particular) could use an overhaul in my opinion or at least additional training. read more
