The food truck and Left Hand is great. Chili cheese fries, delicious and filling. French fries are tasty and crisp. Had the Turkey-avocado-cheese quesidilla and was the bomb. We will definitely go here again. Prices reasonable and the owner guy is a hoot. read more

They have a huge beer garden were groups can hang there with their kids or just with friends. Great brew!! I had a nitro Russian stout. Delicious. My friends had a Lemon Drop brew. Excellent variety and selection with the beer. There were games available and we play "Hearts" until they closed at 8pm. This was my first time there and I will definitely be back. They have a food truck outside. Parking is in a lot. The Left Hand milk stout remains our favorite beer, and we will always get it when we find it on tap anywhere. So of course, swinging through Longmont on our way south from Estes Park was a no brainer. This was our second visit, and it was just as good as the first. Arriving late afternoon on a Wednesday, we weren't surprised to see the parking lot was mostly full. The inside seating was fairly full as well, and we ended up at a small table in the back of a side room but moved to a different table a little after arriving. They always have a wide variety of beers on tap to sample. I tried the French toast milk stout but ended up sticking with our old reliable. Bar service is friendly, the wait for a pour is short, and the beer is always delicious and reasonably priced. You can't go wrong here. They've even got a good selection of merch, and my wife found a new shirt to add to her growing collection. No doubt we'll be back again. read more

Service was amazing! The two bartenders who were working on a Monday at noon were super friendly and helpful! We were so overwhelmed by the number of beers they had on draft. They let us try several of the beers before we made a decision on which glass we wanted. I was surprised that I loved the chai stout and the coconut stout, since we came in thinking we were going to get to original! It was nice out so we opted to sit outside in their patio, which has 5-6 tables. Since we got there early, parking was not a problem, but they do have another lot across the street. I tried the Nitro Stout. It's now my favorite beer in life. Kinda like Guinness but with a slight smoke taste. I promptly odered 2 six packs from Total Wine. So a low IBU (I'm not an IPA fan) and 6% ABV. There might be a slight chocolate taste to go with the smoke but it is absolutely not one of those horrid flavored beers. So.....I'll always have a 6 pack or more on hand. I'm not from Nevada City CA as the review indicates. I emigrated to the United States and live in Reno. read more

I'm visiting Colorado for a wedding and our hotel was a short 5-7 minute drive away. This place has my favorite milk stout and had to come visit. I only had enough time for 1 beer but the gentleman who helped me was so nice. He gave me a sample of almost every beer and explained the difference between the CO2 beer and nitro beer. The have a peanut butter milk stout, the nitrous being "creamy peanut butter" and the CO2 being the "crunchy peanut butter". I was a crunchy fan myself! Overall this place is small but has excellent beer and fantastic service. Highly recommend. read more

Visited the beer garden with the family. It was a nice day they had a mixture of bands preforming and the food truck was definitely yummy. They had the hot dog truck there on that day. I really enjoyed the different seating areas and the staff were really friendly and quick to pour you a beer. They also had corn hole and lots of tables with umbrella. Left Hand is a really fun place! Their large tap selection means there is literally something for everyone - even the picky people like me who only like very specific kinds of beer. I got a flight since I couldn't decide which one I wanted to try. Didn't spend a ton of time here but it was enough to enjoy the place and the beers. I also appreciate that they have cocktail options as well. If I were staying longer, I would loved to have tried one of their cocktails. One thing I will say is that I am really happy to see a brewery that does not allow dogs in their taproom. I know I'm in the minority, but eating and drinking around a bunch of dogs will turn me off of a place. It's part of the reason I don't always love going to breweries as so many of them allow dogs inside. They had an awesome selection of merchandise as well. Plus, they sell art by local artists and crafters, which I thought was very cool! Great experience with a nice taproom and friendly staff. read more

Been following Left Hand in Instagram for a few years and finally visited when we were in Colorado. Stopped in on a Friday afternoon and found the place surprisingly busy. Clearly a bunch of local sitting at the bar enjoying themselves and each other's company. Bar staff was fantastic, they were helpful and personable. Fun atmosphere. OK now let's get down to the nitty-gritty. My boyfriend has been a fan of Left Hand for years now, so it was an exciting adventure being able to stop here after a hike in CO. We're also both lefties so we especially love the name. I had the triple Belgian which was outstanding. We enjoyed hanging outside on the covered patio. Appreciated the shade on a hot sunny day. We left with some cool merch to take home. I have always wanted to visit Left Hand as I've been a Nitro Stout lover for years. Left Hand was the first nitro stout I tried and I've been hooked for years, never quite finding other stouts as wonderful as their Nitro. Going to the brewery was awesome. They had a stunning taproom and an endless amount of craft brews to try. To our surprise their beer garden was open and featured live music in a gorgeous outdoor event space to bring the community together over great beers and local music. Their team was knowledgeable and made great recommendations on which beers to try and what to expect from some of their more unique styles (the ginger beer was incredible!). We went last Sunday to check out their new beer garden. It is a great space. There was live music and plenty of seating. My only detractor was the amount of kids. I understand it is a family friendly space and we brought our children with us to outside places when they were young. However we didn't let them run wild when we did. It put a slight hamper on our adult afternoon out. The beers were solid as always. The garden has a smaller draft list than the taproom down the street but a hearty can list. First I should start by saying I don't love beer so I was super not excited about hitting this place up for lunch and drinks. However, I said ok. I was so surprised and happy that we did!!! The bartender was freaking baller. I ended up doing a flight of the seltzers and the boyfriend got some sort of chocolate beer. There was a food truck called Nomad. BEST BURGER OF MY LIFE. The seltzers I got were Pineapple, raspberry lime, Mango and Flamingo Dreams which is one of their raspberry beers. We will def be back, even though we don't live in the area. Lol read more

My favorite beer is Good Juju. Being from Indiana I was stoked to have my friend live less than ten minutes away from this brewery! Due to COVID they have you wait outside until a server is able to seat you. We were in the outside rented area which had heaters and felt nice. I first started off with a flight as I had never tried any other left hand beers. Then I finished with a draft of Good Juju. It was so fun to try it out of a draft as I had only had canned before. Service was great. They had a food truck where you could order food from but seemed to leave a little early (before 6:30pm) so we missed out. They offered a bbq and pizza menu for delivery from nearby places but we just stuck to the beer. There is a nice lift merchandise area which of course I had to buy a T-shirt to rep back in Indiana. Please bring a keg of good juju to serve in Indianapolis!! I'll visit whatever restaurant or bar you bring it to!! read more

Was really looking forward to checking out their brewery after years of enjoying their beer from a distance and am happy to say the experience lived up to my expectations! Given their fairly remote location and wide distribution network I was surprised the taproom was on the smaller side. There was still plenty of reasonably spaced seating outside, but on a less hot day I could certainly see there being a long wait. I opted to stick with sampler beers to try as many as possible (many of their beers approach/enter double digit abv so even with this strategy your mileage may be limited). The prices vary from beer to beer but they're comparable to other breweries in the Denver area. I would definitely recommend going with more of their dark beers since it's their specialty, in particular the nitros if you haven't had one before. I was most intrigued by their barrel aged beers, they were a bit boozier than I'd like from that style but still thought they were enjoyable. I was also pretty impressed at the diversity of their other offerings and thought they nailed both the hazy and hoppier west coast ipas. Food wise there's a burger/sandwich food truck accompanying the location, I personally saved my stomach space for more beer, but my friends seemed to enjoy their pulled pork sandwiches. read more

Stopped in to this famous brewery in Loveland last year. I was excited to try the new Flamingo Pink Nitro pour in person after getting it in the grocery store so many times. The location is very scenic and open, with a farmhouse rural feel. The stuff right on the bike path and river, and there's a lot of room to spread out and have fun. The brewery itself has a patio area. They do not allow dogs, however, so do leave your pup at home. I found the inside to be a tad too dark and cramped. It was charming with a real wood bar top, but in comparison to the spacious outside grounds, I was expecting larger, brighter, and bigger inside. Pulling out the Yelp app to check in, I read some reviews and saw that is has a locals vibe. Nothing wrong with that, but I did see several large groups of older folks hanging out. To me, it's not the most happening brewery in FoCo area. The pink Flamingo Nitro was indeed tasty and looked very cool being poured from the tap. For a special occasion, the beer made up for the lack of surroundings. I would hesitate to return to the tap room since it's just a bit too cramped for me. read more

A great place to go for outstanding beer. Like a lot of craft breweries that have gotten fairly big, most people are familiar with one or two flagships, which you can find nationwide -- but this is a place to dive much deeper into what they can do. And unlike some others, they kept their personality here: hq hasn't become a giant monument of modernity. The newer beer garden area immediately east of the main building is a great option as a space to enjoy the beer. Good place for kids to play. (And this seems by design with the huge open turf lawn...so if you don't like being around kids, avoid it on weekend afternoons.) The only disappointing thing is the relatively limited tap selection there, around 5. As far as food, there's one decent permanent food truck and often another rotator in the beer garden. read more

Very disappointed in this business. Ordered a guava cider which is listed as " sweet" cider. It is very sour. Not at all as advertised. Took one sip and asked to exchange it for something different as it was not sweet as listed. Apparently because it's not beer they wanted to charge me 10.85 for the sour cider and then another charge for a different beef/ cider. I think they said because it's brought in and not their beer. Their beer is good but wanted to try something different. The world" sweet" should be omitted from description of the cider. Regardless, they lost a customer for not making it right. read more

Absolutely love coming here and having Left Hand in my backyard. I've been in the tasting room and their new outdoor space and the outdoor space is my favorite! There's a big turf area in the center where there might be live music, a yoga class, or some toy monster trucks driving around. The bar is at the very back. There are a plenty of covered tables, even for busy days. They also have a food truck with some solid burger and fries (nothing too fancy now). There was a small rocky area with tables outside. I asked the bartender if there were any games my daughter could play and we're directed to a table top ring game. We have always enjoyed the beer but this visit was for an event. What a great space! The beer was awesome. They had two foodtrucks and we heard that the Left Hand food teuck was awesome, however they said they were taking a 5 min break as we got to the window. We waited over an hour. I dont know if they ever came back. They other truck was open but wasnt really what we wanted to eat. Ither than skipping dinner, we had a great time.
