Our server was really friendly and the ambiance is nice. The food was pretty good but I was a bit disappointed that my short rib was mostly fat. I don't mind a fat cap but this was way out of balance. My husband got the steak, he said it was ok, but overcooked. I would give it another try and keep my fingers crossed that the quality would match the price next time.

What could be better than great food, with a great view overlooking the mountains - not much in my opinion! I loved the half serve of the terrace salad, as well as the sweet and spicy wings (they weren't that spicy at all). My husband enjoyed the fish and chips too. We only had to wait about 19 mins on a Friday night. We would definitely recommend visiting if you're in Hanalei for dinner.

Food was delicious, service was fast, and the ambiance is lovely! Especially when it's pouring and you need a place to hide out from the rain! Had the poke nachos, the Brussels sprouts, the ahi burger, the lava cake, the poke bowl.... All phenomenal! Our waitress was wonderful!!! Highly recommend!

Fun happy hour with fair prices on food and drinks. The drinks and food we ordered were delicious! Try the poke nachos, they are very good! The coconut shrimp was just okay. The crab cakes were good. Our service was okay. If you are not in a hurry go here, the views are fantastic!

Quality delicious food and so many options, best happy hour in the area and the service is top notch! Shout out to our server Gage! We come here everytime we're on the island and will continue to do so!

The price and the food were excellent! You can't go wrong with the Terrace or Wagu Burger. The house Veggie Burger was ono (delicious)! We especially loved their fries and a delightful welcoming staff: Tyler. Another reason I loved their burgers was due to the engraved buns- wow! I just loved that personal touch!

Fantastic. When you visit Hawaii you start to get used to how expensive everything is. The worst is when you are already paying high Hawaii prices for a meal at a restaurant and the food and/or service is mediocre so you walk away feeling extra ripped off. NOT HERE! Probably because this isn't in a fancy resort area or with a view of the water. But it has a nice view of across the street to the mountains from the upstairs dining area. All the food was excellent, great portions and surprisingly reasonable prices! Burger was excellent. Best fish sandwich I've ever had in 10 trips to Hawaii, they cooked the fish medium rare and it was a very big piece. Note that it's open air with no A/C so can feel a bit steamy on a hot day. Wish it were easier to find more places like this throughout Hawaii.

This place was really nice it was perfect for a romantic dinner especially with open Mountain View. The wait wasn't long but we did come for early dinner. We got a fish dip which was really yummy and fresh. The chips were stale but they brought out wonton chip to replace them. The drinks were very good I love the ube drink. My husband enjoyed the margaritas.

Nice Asian fusion restaurant located at the Ching Young Village, across from Hanalei Center. Great restaurant for couples and families. My husband enjoyed his braised short ribs and rice. The ribs were delicious and tender. I liked my poke order which was so tasty and filling. I ordered with salad instead of rice and minus wasabi. Our hostess/server was nice and attentive.

Beautiful views and excellent food and cocktails. Our server was very good as well - super courteous, attentive without being overly so. We just popped in for snacks; the wings were so good we got a second order. The smoked fish dips was also very tasty. We had other dinner reservations that night but plan to head back for dinner. The menu looked really good and interesting.

We went a little after sunset so we didn't get to see the light but it was still very nice to be seated on the second floor with open air to see the sights of the mountain side. The workers were very sweet and frequently checking in on us! They gave us a rec too when we asked but too bad they ran out that day! Each bite of food was delicious!!

I almost canceled after seeing a few mixed reviews online, but I'm really glad we decided to go anyway. First off - you really come here for the atmosphere and the view. It is absolutely incredible! Sitting outdoors taking in the Kauaʻi landscape is top-tier. The menu itself is pretty limited. Here's what we tried: Papaya Salad: Really refreshing and tasty, though a bit steep on the price tag for what it is. Pork Belly Ramen: good but definitely not authentic-level ramen and at $30 (even with the added spicy miso sauce) it was just okay. I probably wouldn't order it again. Sesame/Ground Pork Soup (Hubs' order): He got a dish with ground pork and udon noodles in a sesame base broth, and that one was actually really delicious! Service was stellar! Our waiter, Keoni, was super attentive, friendly, and awesome overall. While the ramen prices are on the high side for what you get, the view, service, and ambiance made it a wonderful evening out on our trip!

A waiter came around and then offered to take our order. Then when time went, another girl asked if someone already came by and helped us. They have really came a long way! The wasabi Caesar dressing, delicious! Bao bun, soft and tasty! The scallop appetizers, sauted in bacon and bacon fat... oh my goodness! Our filet mignon cooked to perfection! The poached lobster and squid ink noodles with lobster bisque.. my favorite! Our waitress, which she didnt even tell us her name, did a mediocre job. The buns are baked fresh in little skillets with the most amazing butter! Soft and hot, slightly sweet and yummy! The lentils have a strong cumin flavour, making them taste more like curry but the spinach is non existent or cooked down into the sauce but I didn't see any and the tomato cream holds it all together. Save some brioche to have with this dish!! The Flavors are well balanced not too sweet or salty. Not hot spicy either. The Hawaiian fish with couscous was amazing! Fresh fish of the day, tomato couscous, sun dried tomatoes and fresh cherry tomatoes. This was delicious! Highly recommend! Finally the pizzetta with pork belly, pineapple jam and pickled peppers was also very tasty. The crust is thin but not flimsy. Just enough to hold the toppings. I wouldn't have ordered the brioche had I known this was an actual pizza! It's about an 8" pizza. The portions are generous sized for sharing. The waitress suggests two per person but only if you have a big appetite. I think three would be just right. We took the rest of the pizza home. Ambiance is great, staff is also very nice. This restaurant is always one of the restaurants we look forward to dining at. I love the ambiance. It's very homey for an upscale restaurant, and the view is spectacular especially if you go early enough to catch the sunset. The staff are very welcoming as soon as you check in for your reservation. I recommend that you make reservations ahead of time. One year we tried to walk in right when they opened and we were told that they did not have any tables available. I ordered the Slow Roasted short ribs, which is one of my favorites. The short ribs were so tender and seasoned very well. Each bite was flavorful. It paired well with the root vegetables and potato au gratin. The poi and the lomi tomato may sound like a strange pairing with the short ribs, but somehow it works. Overall it was a fantastic dish, and very rich to the palate if that is something you're in the mood for. My daughter ordered the Misoyaki Butterfish. I personally have never ordered it as a meal but I think that next time I will. It was so flavorful, and the Asian flavors were delicious. The Chinese cabbage and shiitake mushrooms paired well with the entire dish. The sesame chili sauce that comes on the side just tied everything together. I could not stop going back for more. My husband ordered the ramen and he loved the flavor of the broth. There was a nice spice to it that was not overpowering. Let's just say, he finished the entire bowl. We also ordered a regular chocolate soufflé and a peanut butter soufflé which were both delicious. I recommend them both. I knocked off a star because the waters weren't always filled when you needed them to be, and I found myself wanting more water but it took a while for the server to fill them. The plates weren't cleared readily (as you would expect) and we waited 20 minutes after our meal was completed for the soufflés. Usually the server would ask ahead of time if the table would like to order a soufflé because it takes about 20 minutes to bake. We told our server we wanted to order soufflés pretty much when we ordered our entrees. So I'm not sure why we waited so long for them. Overall, this is a fantastic restaurant and I highly recommend you dining here!
