I wanted to post this review about The Thyme Pizzeria. This Pizzeria kept showing upon my Yelp feed, so the day after Thanksgiving, it was time to try someting new. The 12" Medium wheel is perfect for two people. For a 100% all Vegan ingriendtspizza, I was quite impressed. We ordered a side of Fried Zucchini (this wasn't Vegan, but Vegetarian). What my wife and I noticed right off the bat, was both the Pizza and the Fried Zucchini wasnt greasy! Typically when you order a pizza, or fried zucchini, it can tend to always end up being greasy, BUT NOT HERE! Just a delightful place to eat! This was our first time, however it will not be our last! Alright...so this is what I'd call a "fancy pizza place". They have, and I applaud them for their, vegan and gluten free options which incredibly inclusive for individuals with those sensitivities. However, as someone who eats both meat and main lines gluten I made very run-of-the-mill choices and, hey, it was delicious, it looked pretty (firm believer in if something looks good it usually tastes good) and it was hot and on time when I picked up. I found them on yelp, and we came in because they have traditional dishes as well as a robust Vegan menu. I had a customized vegan pizza. It was delicious!!! I had a gluten free crust with olive oil sauce. For toppings I had roasted garlic, roasted broccoli, spinach and fresh basil. It's hard to find a tasty gluten free pizza and I have found it!! I had this pizza custom made for me. They have a highly customizable menu, as well as vegan menu. The inside of the restaurant is quaint, clean, and the staff was very nice. Just want to say that I'd been wanting to check out this place since February. The BF and I FINALLY went yesterday and it was so freaking perfect!!! The hot wings, the pizza and even the curly fries. Totally hit the spot, super clean space, and all the condiments you could ask for. Everything was delicious and fresh. Also side note (not that I'm into this sort of thing) but they have cauliflower and gluten free crusts and an entire VEGAN MENU!!! Incredibly nice and hospitable owners! It is located in a small strip mall on Mason and Sherman Way, however, their options of pizzas satisfy vegans and vegetarians alike, amongst those who enjoy their pizza with dairy and meat. My friend is a vegan and he ordered the vegan signature pizza. A vegan pizza with all the toppings you could think of from daiyan vegan mozzarella cheese to vegan sausage and bacon bits, jalapeños, mushroom, and of course . . . Thyme. I indulged in the margherita pizza (non-vegan). The most memorable part about the pizza is definitely the olive oil & Parmesan crust. I just moved to The Valley from the South Bay to be closer to my girlfriend. The South Bay is a culinary wasteland, and I'm so happy to be back in the Valley where I grew up. My girlfriend is a vegan and I'm a devoted carnivore, which can sometimes make dinner choices difficult. Yelp came up with The Thyme Pizzeria, and the reviews were so good we decided to try it. I got curbside pickup. The guy who I later found out was the manager brought it out to me. He was friendly and smiling, and it was clear he wanted me to enjoy my food. Man, was that good pizza! The sauce was excellent and tasty. They even have beef pepperoni and sausage for those of us who don't eat pork. Both the vegan and non-vegan options are extensive. I got the thin crust, build your own. It was so good I was moved to call them and tell them that it was one of the better pizzas I've had. My girlfriend got a cauliflower crust and pineapple (yuck) with other veggies. She said it was ok, but she's a tough reviewer. My only nit is that the ends on both of our pizzas were burned. It's not cheap ($30 medium pizza with all the customizations I got), but there was enough for lunch today, so $15 per meal isn't terrible. You get charged additional for most of the toppings, and it can get pricey. I highly recommend this place for good pizza. read more

I can't comment on ambiance or customer service because I ordered delivery. What I can comment on is the quality, taste, and price of the pizza. I ordered an XL pepperoni , small Margherita and fried zucchini. The margherita was inedible to us. The pepperoni was mid. In our opinion it was dry and the amount of cornmeal on the crust made it seem like it was dropped at the beach and covered with sand. The zucchini was pretty good. Everything was cold when delivered, I don't think that was their fault. I paid $54.92 without the tip which is expensive even if good but it's really expensive in this scenario. read more

From our very first visit this has become our now go to pizza place. We have not tried any of the vegan pizzas so this review is only for non-vegan selections. We used to get d'amores but we come here now. We love the variety and the fact that their pizzas aren't overly salty or leaving you to feel bad afterwards. We like the cornmeal they use on the crust. The toppings are fresh and they're not stingy. They prepare pizzas quickly and we usually order by phone for pick up and it's always ready within 20-25 minutes. We'll be back! read more

I'm a biased vegan but my omnivore friends agreed it was really good and they were surprised that it could taste exactly like a regular meat pizza but still be vegan. They have non-vegan options as well for anyone who isn't into the vegan stuff. I think that's why I live places like this as they cater to pretty much everyone. Pretty much everything on their menu can be made vegan except for a few pizza varieties and a couple sides like chicken wings and mozzarella sticks. Really tasty. Only downside is the vegan pizza can be on the pricier side at about 20-25$ for a large specialty one. I highly recommend trying them. They're very friendly and very accommodating. I had my very first vegan pizza and oh my, I was so impressed! I really didn't know what to expect but wanted to try this place out since I was visiting my vegetarian friend. I ordered the 16" veggie supreme gourmet pizza, with their vegan cheese, and added "ground beef." I even got their vegan ranch dressing. I couldn't believe how good this pizza was and it didn't feel heavy after eating a few slices! Being a carnivore, I certainly wouldn't mind eating this as a substitute. Also, I pre-ordered online to pick up an hour later. I got there a few minutes early and they told me it'll take a few minutes still. Honestly, this is one of the best pizzerias I've been to (and not to sound like "that" guy, but I'm from the east coast where pizza is, let's face it, better), and THE best pizzeria in Los Angeles (fight me). Their vegan pizza is out of this world. The "cheese" and the vegan meat is just bursting with flavor. Each bite is masterfully topped with aromatic vegetables and herbs. So I ordered a heart- shaped meat lover's pizza over the phone with Arthur yesterday to surprise my boyfriend who lives in WinnetkaI was a little nervous as I was ordering remotely (I live in Pain Desert), had asked for a specific time of delivery, and had also asked that they write a note for my boyfriend from me to make the surprise extra special.
