Of all the restaurants I've ever been too, this place breaks the record for longest wait time on a cheeseburger and fries. Here is the story.
We came in on a Saturday. It was my first time here. I had great expectations because the place is run by a famous face or two. There was a nice car show going on outside. Entering the establishment my friend gave the name and we waited approximately 5 minutes to be seated. Seems fair. Got to our table. A vast majority of occupants had food on their table. It seemed all was well in this building. Waitress, a kind lady got our drinks and order. My friend and I happily chat and observe the surroundings. 30 minutes go by, the waitress checks on our drinks assuring it will be out soon. 10 minutes go by and my friend gets a call that he needs to go meet the parents of his child's friend so they can go out that night. I wave him to go on and take care of it, assuring him that I'd get the restaurant to put his cheeseburger special in a to go bag for when he got back. I sat there, and I sat there some more. My friend was gone for 45 minutes and was in shock to find me exactly the same as when he had left. We chatted for 10 more minutes. It was 6:50pm at this point. They were closing in an hour. I gesture for the waitress and told her to cancel the order because we had waited an hour and half for 2 cheeseburgers that never came. Only after giving the restaurant a short, simple review and 3 very forgiving stars, the owner responds in 20 minutes on Google reviews calling me a liar, that no one has ever waited that long, and it's impossible because they are watching the cameras. "A little more patience" she said. A hostile response from someone not present. I found it just a little strange that the table that came in before me got their food and was ready to pay the tab the moment we were leaving with an empty table with only teas on it. I hate leaving less than good reviews, or to say that I would give a place another chance after realizing these things happen when you've decided to open on the busiest day with only 5 staff to serve 50 people. But alas, that condescending attitude that bullied me into deleting my true and honest review assures that I will not! read more
