The food was not good. Did mot like the smokey flavor. Hotdogs were so so. Not impressed.

I showed up at high noon on a Monday. It was just me so I skipped the wait and bellied up to the…read morebar. It was a nice wide bar with a row of TV's lining the wall. The bartender greeted me and asked if I wanted the regular menu or was the lunch menu sufficient. I perused the lunch menu, which had several different options. Surprisingly, everything on that menu was half price! What a deal! I ordered the most expensive item, the catfish sandwich, which was only $10. Even though they were very busy, I got my sandwich within ten minutes. They call it a sandwich but there ain't no way I could eat it like a sandwich, even with my big mouth. The catfish came with onion, lettuce, tomato, and some kind of sauce on a toasted sub roll. It came with a knife. I cut off the first bite. It was .......... GREAT! Wow! I have always gotten BBQ or fish tacos before. Fantastic blending of flavors. It came with a choice of a side and I chose fries. The fries were barely alive. Good flavor but partially limp. That was the only negative. I wish I lived closer to Farmville. I would make them regular visits during the week. They keep teasing us about expanding to Madison Heights but no action yet.

Baked beans were very good, with a sweet bacon flavor but I'm a mac & cheese guy and theirs is incredible. Smoked flavor that just is throughout the cheese. Highly recommend stopping in. I will be going back and trying some other items.
