Mike was a super friendly guy and easy to work with. He tinted my Audi A4 about a year ago for a reasonable price and it's held up great. He finished in about an hour and his workmanship was top notch and really good quality. I'd highly recommend him. read more

Mike at Tint Monkey knows what he's doing. It's evident he's precise in all the work they do at Tint Monkey. I came to his shop almost a year ago to tint all the windows in my car. This past weekend, my passenger side window was broken into in a "smash and grab" burglary. I wanted to ensure that tint paper would be consistent, so I found Mike at his new HUGE location in Santa Fe Springs and he took care of me. A friend recommended I go to Mike to get my windows tinted. He did an awesome job on my Toyota Corolla! Got an appointment quickly & you can tell he's passionate about his job. There's a sofa in the waiting area. Loved the giraffe artwork. The music playing in the background is cool too. If it's your first time going, his place is all the way in the back. If you see school buses you're in the right spot. Just look for his suite number. read more

July 1, 2017 I just had my car windows tinted this morning it took about an hour or less Mike provided me with excellent customer service he went the extra mile to make sure I was taking care and understood the different types of window film that he offers which is rhino window film. Excellent choice is comparable to 3m window film. Which I had on my previous car. They're both great products I definitely and highly recommend going to the tint monkey. Mikey is a seasoned veteran when it comes to tinting and wraps. From mini coopers to Raptors, from Hondas to Teslas he has seen and done it all. I have had my 01 Tacoma paint stripping, and he was able to sand down all the areas that wouldn't stick and do a quality matte black wrap on it. In addition, he helped do rhinolining on the bed of my truck. Now it's like new! Since I have had work done with him, it's summer, all of my friends have been going to him have thanked me for referring. Where do I begin... Patrick is a chill and easy going guy.. Got a great price for my 2005 BMW X5. Had old wrinkling tint that irritated the sh*t out of me. Pat made me forgot about it. With the removal work for the old film, and placing new ones especially on 9 windows, you would think, at least from my past experiences with car tint, that it would at least be a half day worth of work... He got it done in 2 hours! Obviously he didn't have anyone before or after waiting, but that's still really fast! Hardly any mess left, and he even places reminder stickers for not rolling your windows down on the switches. I h HIGHLY recommend his shop in you're in the Cerritos/Norwalk area. Mike will do a good job.. and he's a cool dude. He doesn't try to upsell you or anything, he seems to only be interested in doing a good job which I appreciate. He apparently has 2 locations, and his Sante Fe looks pretty bare bones but it has the space he needs to work his magic. I got my Model 3 tinted and front wrap (using Xpel which is amazing, look it up on Youtube) at a reasonable price and excellent result. read more

Mike did a great job on my car. Got a new Cadillac and I tinted all windows. I first went to get pricing, this place was a little hard to find, its located in more of an industrial complex than retail. I was a bit skeptical at first, there no real show room, no customer counter and not really setup as a normal retail tint shop. He is very friendly and customer originated and after speaking with him for a few minutes I got a sense that he knows his business. I scheduled to bring my car back and was not disappointed. He knocked it out in a few hours and it looks fantastic. read more

We are unhappy with the work that was performed by Mike at Tint Monkey. We contacted him to wrap 8 trucks for our company. I was able to negotiate a 10% discount for this project. We thought that the discount was for the volume that we agreed to. Later he said that was the reason that inferior, inconsistent colors were used. On the last unit he texted a photo that showed the job completed when actually the other side wasn't. He received his final pay and we had to beg to get the job completed. He also said his work was guaranteed, however he will not take our calls now that the wraps are peeling & chipping!] read more

Brought my car in today after calling around earlier in the week for pricing. Spoke with Tim to make an appt and he gave me a really good price for ceramic tint. My fiance's cousin actually brought her car in couple weeks earlier and she referred me to them. But me being me and always looking for a deal I called around anyway. Star Tint was by far the best deal, not to mention a great referral by another customer. They took about 2.5 hours for all the windows plus the sunroof. They did an awesome job on the car and she looks clean AF. read more

Great prices for top quality material and work. Mike is the owner of the shop since April and he keeps the old low prices (from owner before him)for customers but he did heck of a job with high quality Reyno films. Before I went I called ahead with many questions. Mike was professional and patient to answer all. I did the whole car tinting so it took a bit longer, like 1 hour and half. He is very careful with the car and makes sure there's no bubble and wavy marks. I was a bit concerned at first but then after watching while I know I am in good hands. Ceramic tints have lifetime warrantee so I can go back anytime if bubbles show. Overall it's a great experience and it's a big bang for your bucks. Make sure you pay cash, he can sweeten the deal for you. read more

He did warn me that it could be a little wait due to high volume of clients. I ended up going with a muffler delete and replaced my suspension with coil overs. Yen took care of the muffler delete and Lee and two other very helpful gentlemen took care of my coil overs. I have to say I am very satisfied with the quality of work for the value. They quoted me way under anyone else that I had called prior to going with them. I will recommend A-1 Muffler Express to all of my friends and family. They all make you feel that you're part of the family. They offered me coffee and cold water while I waited for my car to be done. One thing to remember, they are experts in mufflers, exhaust systems, and not any other type of work. But it never hurts to ask if they can do it for you!

I had a hard time believing that was the issue. My truck left worse than when I came in. I came into Anthony's shop and he helped me get everything dialed into spec. Car drives brand new again. The negative reviews about alignment seems to me are more of people who generally don't know much about vehicles and claim things are a scam when they need "new parts" I also feel they don't know how to properly explain what is going on with the car. I came in, Anthony got everything to spec. My steering wheel was a tad off, he fixed it on the spot. Everything is extremely straight now, we both took the time to see where the issue may lie and resolved it. Will come back again. Take it from me, a person who works on their car 99% of the time, this shop is legit. Just know what is wrong with your vehicle, and listen to what they tell you. It's a recommendation they're giving you if they say something is bad. You can always say no but if the part is bad, your alignment will be thrown off in no time. Will be back again.

There was a slight hiccup when I discovered that the film he recommended might have a small amount of metal that might affect signal reception in the house (we live in an area with notoriously poor signal). Bradley instantly offered to do additional research with his distributor, and he got back to me the next day with additional information that put me at ease. Once we signed the proposal, we were scheduled for installation within a few days. The installation team couldn't have been nicer, more knowledgeable, neater, cleaner, or more efficient. The two of them took care of a large number of windows PLUS some extra windows with leftover film in less than 8 hours. Oh and they were great about making sure the front door was closed after they were told we have 3 cats - as a pet parent, this matters so much when you have work done in the house! We are thrilled with the result. No bubbles (even though we know they disappear as the film cures over multiple weeks) and we could feel the difference in heat transfer instantly. It's gonna be a much better summer because of the film. The privacy improvement is significant, and the plants are still getting plenty of light; having said that, I promised Bradley I'd come back to update this review with the results so that plant parents out there could feel comfortable about having options for film products. It's been over 6 months since I had home tinted. Well the…read moretint did little in heat reduction only glare reduction was noticeable. Some windows the film separated. More dirt in the film became apparent. I think for the cost invested I rather keep the original. I felt automotive film had better heat reduction for some reason.
