The food is always delicious and the side table guac is a must try. The servers are very friendly. It's a very well operated restaurant although it can get very crowded very quickly so I recommend making reservations ahead of time. This is a great brunch or dinner spot. I like that it can be a go to spot for a date or just catching up with friends or family!

We both tried two different things on the menu to share and glad we did, both Krispy Chicken Torta and Cuba Torta was amazing! Fried chicken was perfectly crispy throughout the whole sandwich! We love how fresh their avocados are as we ordered guacamole. We enjoyed our visit, service was a bit slow, not sure if they were understaffed, it was well over an hour, nearly 2hrs in by time we were done. Place is more spacious than the Gilbert, upstairs looked spacious. Not sure if it's common for them to have birds flying around inside but didn't like the potential idea of it pooping and landing into guests food or beverages, or even on someone in general, seemed by the employees reaction, it wasn't concerning leading me to believe it's often.

The…read morerestaurant has a casual vibe and it's a fun place, it can get noisy, but I caught it at the right time. Anyway, when you're craving good tacos, Diego Pops is the place! They have a selection of burritos, ceviche, flautas and salads, but tacos are a thing here. I decided on a shrimp taco and a green chili chicken taco. Lunch came with a six piece sauce pack, so you can customize the tacos to your liking. I'd been thinking of Mexican food and these tacos were good! I had a long drive back to the hotel, or would have indulged in one of those icy cold and delicious looking drinks, like the Diego Margarita or Fuego Fresa. The servers are friendly, prices are reasonable and this restaurant is popular with tourists and locals. The air conditioning is perfect for getting out of the heat and the food and ambiance make it even better! They also have patio dining for cooler nights. On my next visit, I'll return to Old Town, one of the best areas in Phoenix. It offers great restaurants like Diego Pops--it's on my "must come back and try a margarita" list.

It has a lively atmosphere that's great for meeting up with friends. Servers are always friendly and food comes out FAST! One of the best things about Diego Pops is their happy hour, which runs every day from 3-6 pm. I also just found out they do $3 tacos all day on Mondays... what a steal! The food is always delicious. My go-to order is the braised green chili chicken taco and the charred steak tacos. They also have frozen margaritas, and I'm already planning my next visit because I HAVEEE to try the blue raspberry flavor. Reliable place to meet up with friends, enjoy good food/drinks without breaking the bank!

I got a mixed red and green and both sauces were delicious. We also ordered a tuna tostada as an appetizer and that was awesome. It came with a sauce that had some sort of soy sauce, and I couldn't even tell you, but it was really really good and made the whole. tostada taste amazing. My favorite part was the drinks! The bartender Diana was super friendly and had great recommendations. Great service!! I tried the coconut Mezcal drink and as a Mezcal lover, who doesn't like anything too sweet, it was perfect. In the picture is the margaritas. My girlfriend got the tamarindo margarita and it was super unique and very refreshing. Would recommend that one as well. The agua de jamaica is a must try as well!!

I was in town for work for the week and had to stop myself from coming two nights in a row! I came in on a Tuesday evening and the happy hr drink was a strawberry margarita. You do a little bit if work, cutting up the steak, but it's worth it! The flavors were incredibly flavorful and sophisticated and the restaurant is really nice!! I'll definitely be back on all my PHX trips!! Can't wait to try something new the next time!
