The coffee is rich and flavorful, and there are some really interesting flavors I have yet to try. On Thursdays, there is a special where you can get an Addis latte (kind of sweetened latte) and a lentil sambusa for $7 only! I've only been here on weekday afternoons/late mornings, and the street parking is plentiful and seating has never been an issue (which is something I worried about since it's in a home structure). There are couches and more solo seating arrangements upstairs and standard tables and couches downstairs. Overall, highly recommend coming to study or catch up with people! (Though it did seem like most people there tend to be working/studying silently).

There was a small space for kids to place legos and a play kitchen area. We got the frozen hot chocolate. The kids gulped it all up pretty quickly. So it was kid approved. I got the Thai tea frappe. I was grateful that it wasn't super sweet like traditional Thai tea. It was a nice choice for a hot summer day. All are welcome to the place. Love the concept!

Couldn't commentate on the latte because I couldn't really taste the roast at all, it was mostly just straight oatmilk diluted with color. I am a daily gallon iced tea drinker so trust me when I say, you definitely want to recruit me as a customer. I just needed help getting there. I mean honestly when you've used teabags most of your life for iced tea perhaps you've never weighed the teabag to see how much it takes... I mean it's pretty basic... When you want to build recurrent customers, you want to help people feel successful so that they also become lovers of whatever it is you're selling... It's not rocket science. There were two employees working. One was really unhelpful but fortunately, the second person at least got some products in my hands. Neither really weren't helpful in the way that you want as a new customer. When I think of it from the business owners perspective, when a new customer has walked in the door and they're not sure how to use your product, it's definitely an opportunity. Especially when it's something that holds potential for recurrent purchases. I was unsure how much tea would be needed to make a pitcher of tea and the response I got was very unhelpful "well I can't answer that because I don't know the vessel you're going to put your tea in". I could describe my "vessel" if asked- a 1 gallon glass tea pitcher. In my business, I am most successful when I ask the right questions instead of expecting people to be specialists in something that perhaps they've never gone through, purchased or done before. Instead of being curious with the customer in order to help me achieve my goal and be successful right off the top, I was on my own. The female employee didn't seem like she wanted to be bothered at all. I was frustrated but not quite enough to walk out bc being empty-handed would not help. The male employee stepped in and was able to help a bit more. It definitely wasn't perfect because I got the comment about the "vessel", but at least I was able to figure it out enough to make a purchase. If they would've worked with me at least a little bit, I would've happily spent twice as much and wouldn't have to go back a week later! The tea itself is delicious. The ambience is wonderful... The problem was the people... Fortunately, not enough of a problem that will impede me from going back today but certainly enough for me to take time out of a busy day today to write a review. I hope somebody actually reads this to make things better for the next person! All we needed was a but of kindness and perhaps a bit of teaching about techniques & products. You know once somebody gets interested in something then you might have a customer for life. These days in this economy, no one should be taking customers for granted... Just saying. Even wonderful stores are going out of business these days... personally I wouldn't take one single customer for granted!

$10 for matcha? Welcome to 2026. Eden Plant is new to the neighborhood so on one of our many walks,…read moremy friend and I decided to pop in. It was a Saturday morning and they weren't crowded yet. The shop is small, with a few circular tables and ottoman style chairs. The menu is robust enough for Eden (IYKYK). I've been to the Eado location so I was already familiar with their brand. My friend got a latte, a fountain of chai matcha and I did the strawberry fields tea (cold). It took about 2-3 minutes for our drinks to be ready and boy did the price make us laugh. The latte was $~4, the tea was around $7 but the matcha was $10. I don't normally drink any of this stuff so I'm not familiar with price points but my friend noted how expensive the matcha was. I love Eden so I'll probably be back for a croissant and some tea but they are on the pricier side. It's also in River Oaks, so you're paying for the location as well. Staff were kind and welcoming so that made the experience pleasurable.

There are tables and chairs, but it's definitely not comfortable enough for people to linger more than just to finish their drink. Prices are pretty fair given the area! The fiancee ordered a strawberry matcha, you could taste the matcha but the strawberry puree was perhaps too sweet as it was slightly overpowering. Another customer had asked about the strawberry as well. Like the other location, ambiance is good, lots of plants lining up the sides of the space. There was some trash on a table that didn't get cleared for a little bit. Employees are friendly though. Parking is free in the complex, so big plus there. Eden is a good option if you want coffee or tea and you're in the area, but I wouldn't make a trip just to go here. Definitely check out their EaDo location! Be careful it does get packed there.
