It had chunks of pistachio in it which was cool. The second day I came back with my husband and he ordered the same pistachio latte but full sweet and I got the pandan latte with light ice, light foam, and low fat milk. They incorporate the low fat milk well as some places tend to burn it. The pandan was great and I'm not even a ice coffee lover. Smooth, creamy. I could not really taste the pandan but the matcha came across. I asked the barista about their syrups and beans. I learned that most of their syrups are made in house and they get their beans from a family friend. They used to make their own and are thinking about doing it again which is a great sign of a quality shop. For sure a great little place.

The place was severely understaffed for a Saturday morning. They only had one staff member who was doing all the work like taking orders and making the drinks, so it took 20 minutes in line to order, and the drink took another 30 minutes. I went there to meet with a friend, and we were done meeting by the time we got our drinks. I ended up asking for it in a to-go cup and the presentation was underwhelming at that point, to say the least. Can you imagine waiting almost an hour for a coffee? No thank you. It was worth a shot and I guess I went on a bad day. Unfortunately it was my first and last time trying this place as the whole experience was underwhelming. The coffee is rich and flavorful, and there are some really interesting flavors I have yet to try. On Thursdays, there is a special where you can get an Addis latte (kind of sweetened latte) and a lentil sambusa for $7 only! I've only been here on weekday afternoons/late mornings, and the street parking is plentiful and seating has never been an issue (which is something I worried about since it's in a home structure). There are couches and more solo seating arrangements upstairs and standard tables and couches downstairs. Overall, highly recommend coming to study or catch up with people! (Though it did seem like most people there tend to be working/studying silently).

Burger or Annkello you get free parking in the garage if you scan the QR code then follow the instructions prompted. Go down the path directly into the building and cut all the way through to get to the coffee shop. But if you enter directly from the outside, you can wrap around the building to find the bright red door you cannot miss. Upon entering, I was surprised to be met with a chic, professional anterior with its warm toned woods and back lit lighting. The space itself is not very big, but there is bar seating and booths lining the wall with small personal tables. They do offer free Wi-Fi, but the small tables make me think that this is not an ideal place to work unless you sit at the bar with more counter space. When I came on a Saturday afternoon, it was mostly a place for people to grab and go coffee or slow down and hang out for a bit. Not many laptops in sight, although there were some. Atmosphere was not very loud. I perused the all day breakfast menu in collaboration with OMG burger, new drink menu, and normal drink menu. There are also pastries. I have never had Tanzania in coffee before, so I opted for the namesake AnnKello Kahawa drink, described to be a perfect balance between Tanzanian beans and sweetness. Truly it was sweet but not overpoweringly so, and I was extremely impressed with its milk-base that was creamier than normal lattes. I wondered if they use heavy cream along with milk in any way.
