The first place I called asked if I could leave the tire and pick it up later that day. That didn't work for me. I called the next place, Big Johnson Tires, and was informed they could fix it right away. I popped over and met Mark. He was busy for a few minutes before he could help me but it wasn't a big deal. He set to work on my tire. The tire was off the rim in no time and the issue was blatantly obvious, a large piece of metal had pierced the tire. Mark removed the piece and quickly went through the steps to prep the hole, applied the patch and reinstalled the tire to the rim. All in all, I was at the shop for about 20 minutes. Mark changed me $30 for the repair and I was thrilled. I recommend Big Johnson Tires for tire repairs and any tire related needs. Good people with lots of experience and great service.

This fine vehicle is powered by an equally vintage International school bus motor. The chassis has its own unique features and design elements. The thought of working on this thing was vaguely terrifying. Fortunately, I was turned on to Thomas Motors. Tom and Junior are skilled mechanics, but what takes them to the next level are three things: First, they are interested in fixing things, not just throwing new parts at the problem. Second, they are unquestionably honest and straight up. Third, they are willing to wrench on vintage International iron. Now you don't need an ancient motorhome to enjoy Thomas Motors. They also work on modern cars, trucks and commercial vehicles. I willingly drive 30+ minutes one way for these guys. Please consider this an unconditional recommendation.
