I came here for breakfast on Labor Day and it was busy and that was expected but we were seated quickly and our server came over in a rush and said " happy Labor Day, and I have to be here serving you" which I understood like it's Labor Day and you should get the day off too but you're in the service industry so you should understand that some holidays you have to work. Well the food was good and the service was ok, I mean it was fast. This isn't the best breakfast spot but for it being a chain it's pretty good. If this location is near you then for sure order breakfast here but I would not say it's spectacular.

Service was terrible, food took forever, I ordered a latte they forgot to make it until the end . No one came back to check on our table . Overall my latte and pancake was great just poor service. Bathroom was clean but smelled of sewer as well . I'm a fan of toasted yolk I just won't return to this location.

This is what we saw in front of us for over an hour. We will never go back.

The bar was piled with dirty dishes. We sat at the bar for over an hour and the dishes kept piling up by all the wait staff. I don't understand why they would not take the dishes to the kitchen. Bartenders were slow.

Toasted Yolk is so delicious. This Fulshear location is newer and little quieter than other Katy/West locations. The staff is super nice and friendly. In fact, I would say bordering on over-attentive. I appreciate the specialty cocktails, mocktails, and specialty coffee drink menu...But I do think they need just a basic iced coffee that offers free refills just like a hot coffee. (I spent over $7 just on my beverages.) My go to entrée is their house specialty, The Toasted Yolk. Reminds me of one of my favorite childhood breakfasts, "egg in a frame". However I do make a point to try different things. Their assorted Arnold's are delicious and the portions are large. Though points are taken away bc the poached egg is prefab. Of course I'll be back. The menu and service are too good to pass up.

Had a great combo meal today - service was grease, food tasted amazing, and there were plenty of of seats at 1 pm. Great menu I normally eat here for breakfast but will make it a great place for future lunch!

Wow. What a treat at Toasted Yolk Cafe. The food and service here was so good , even their coffee was super. Will be back again next time for other breakfast options on the menu.

First let me address the patio, which is a wonderful place to dine. The ambience is perfect and when the weather permits, which is late fall and early spring, it truly is a wonderful experience. The service is the same as the service in the Katy Local table, which is just wonderful. Very attentive, very efficient a wonderful experience to be quite honest with you. And when I said, it is difficult to manage a distinct setting with the same level of service as I said earlier, these folks have achieved that which is laudable. The menu is precisely the same, and the food is well prepared in ample quantities and I do not believe that I've experienced a single meal that is not good. Now this is just my personal experience. I won't speak for all yelpers, but I think the food to be quite dependable and the serving is quite ample given the cost. The same is true of the bar, which is quite good.

Let me start by saying I've been here multiple, multiple times & I've never had any food items that weren't good. I always get breakfast (even if it's lunch time) so I don't know much about the lunch items. Not only is the food outstanding with a creative twist, it's consistent. Over the years, the place has expanded several times so now there is a decent amount of dine-in seating in addition to the outdoor seating. The place still stays packed but with their wait list in advance/text notification system & efficiency in seating customers, if there is a wait things move along smoothly. Additionally, anyone who is waiting knows it's worth the wait!! The service staff are friendly. The atmosphere is homey & they decorate for the various holidays & seasons. Owner/chef Lori is always walking around asking guests if everything is ok. On at least 2 occasions she happened to chat with me/my guest about some dietary restrictions & she whipped something up for us to try. My go-to dish is the harvest breakfast where you can pick 4 breakfast items from a list. This is a great way to sample more menu items. Here's my take on some of my favorites: - Sourdough pancakes are thin & really delicious. - Belgium Leige waffle is very sweet with the pearl sugar "nuggets" in them so taste them before you add a lot of syrup. - Scrambled eggs are well seasoned, not bland. - Avocado & tomato or the fresh fruit are nice light touches as one of the side item choices. - Fried chicken tenders are really good. Spice level 3 (medium) is not that spicy. It's flavorful. - Grilled chicken tenders are good. As much as I typically eat grilled or baked chicken, I allow myself to choose fried for these. - Grits are creamy. I get them with no cheese. I'm not a big grits person but I do like these! The menu is very extensive. It includes vegan, vegetarian, keto & gluten free. Is the breakfast a little pricey, the answer is "it's all relative." Sometimes it's just worth paying for a great meal. In case you haven't gotten the message, Harvest Kitchen is a must try. Do yourself a favor & have a visit. I'm betting it will stay on your list as a repeat eating spot!! Tips: - Use the text message wait list & signup before you leave your house. - You can always get 1 pancake on the side for $5. - 15% gratuity is included at checkout, as you pay you'll get options for an additional % or custom % like 0%, 3, 5% or more.

The casual, open space was inviting and the place was spotlessly clean. However, the customer service was just average. I wanted an egg and cheese biscuit with gravy and asked if I could replace the bacon in the Bacon, Egg, Cheese Biscuit with the shiitake mushroom gravy. However, the gal at the counter said no so I ended up ordering the spinach, egg, and goat cheese biscuit and had to order a side of shiitake mushroom gravy. She wouldn't even let me switch out the goat cheese for cheddar cheese. Needless to say, service was not the most accommodating or helpful. My lunch date ordered the chicken and waffle and gave it a 4/5 rating. The chicken was crispy but the waffle was more on the dense side. The biscuit was also dense, more so than fluffy. It was baked golden brown and had a slightly crispy exterior which was the best part. The inside didn't pull apart into delicate layers. Instead, it crumbled when I forked through it to get a piece. I'd give it a 4/5 rating. I thought the shitake mushroom gravy was very good and give 5/5. I'm just happy they make a vegetarian-friendly gravy. I also like that have fresh squeeze orange juice on the menu.

The beef fajitas were flavorful just as I'd hoped but the chicken was a bit dry. With the order we each get our own plate of rice and beans and choice of tortillas. The flour tortillas were delicious, almost like home made, so much so that I took the leftovers tortillas home to enjoy with butter. The highlight for me was the Skinny Margarita with my customization of adding a shot of Amaretto. I've been disappointed at other places because they never taste fresh, or have an extremely tart flavor, but the bartender had it down to a science because when I tell you from my first sip it was like heaven! Fresh, not too sweet and I only had one and was tipsy, I wasn't the only one. My two friends got the same one and agreed it was delicious and they too were tipsy. And you get your money's worth. In addition to the above facts, my toddler ate a bit off my plate Saturday/Sunday and exhibited symptoms similar to mine. On Monday, June 30th at 9:04am, I called to share my experience with the staff. To be clear, my intention in calling was not to leave a negative review, but simply to bring the matter to the restaurant's attention - privately. Unfortunately, the owner, Albert, was defensive throughout the call. He said things like, "I don't doubt that happened, but we've never had a complaint," and dismissed my experience rather than showing concern. I explained I wasn't calling to leave a bad review but to make them aware. But alas, here we are. If you're looking for a place with good food and quality customer service, I suggest you look elsewhere. The location of the restaurant is not immediately visible from the Main Street. It was tucked away on the rear of a building creating a little challenge to find. My visit was during a weekday morning and no other patrons were inside. A completely empty restaurant is usually a cause for concern for me. Patty's is set up for orders at a counter in the back of dining room then take a number to the table for delivery. The dining room is very bright and simply decorated but spacious for a bistro. I ordered the Grandma's Morning Casserole and it was a solid 5/5 with great quality sausage and bacon. Everything about the dish is near perfect, especially the tasty crispy tater tots. My request for a croissant with the breakfast was honored and it was delicious. This gave me idea to check out more baked good from the showcase. I purchased a carrot cake to go and later wished I had bought two. The cake wasn't the traditional style with nuts and shredded carrots. Instead, the cake was the consistency of pound cake that came covered in a rich chocolate drizzled over the top. Perhaps, I got lucky with my first impression but I'm eager to give them another opportunity to repeat the great experience.

The cashier/barista Laura was so friendly and we enjoyed talking to her. You order at the counter, water is self service from a water station and the food is delivered to your table. I was here for Saturday brunch & got the "special omlette" with ham substituted for the prosciutto. The ham is deli-type ham. The omelette was very flavorful & tasty, however, definitely thinner than I am accustomed to eating. It did not come with any bread option or side item so make sure you look at the breakfast side items (only located on the Saturday/Sunday brunch menu, not the main menu) or ask about side items. I don't have a large appetite & I must admit I was still a little hungry. I inquired about bread after I finished & they offered to bring me some toast but I was already done eating. I had a bite of hubby's breakfast sausage & croissant. I'm not a big sausage person but the sausage tasted smoky with a hint of sweetness and it was yummy! The croissant was also buttery & good. I'd add that to my omelette order next time. Of course we had to try some sweets since there were so many options. We got the carrot cake; it's Brazilian style, which differs from the standard American version. The cake had carrots only, no nuts, a little less sweet, pound cake-like consistency and topped with chocolate. I enjoyed it! I also got a chocolate cake slice to-go. It's super rich with chocolate filling layers made with condensed milk. A bit too rich for me but I'm sure others will love it. They also have coffee drinks and they are setup to do the basics drinks (mocha latte, cappuccino, etc) without all the syrup flavors. I ordered a cortado. Although it is not on their menu, the barista gladly said she would try to do her best. I provided directions on the espresso to milk ratio for a cortado & she absolutely nailed it. The coffee was robust & without the traditional vanilla syrup available, a little brown sugar added made the drink great. I will definitely return. I'll try their lunch menu next time.
