Took the fam to Dennys today. Wondered why we have not been here I a year or so...soon after I ordered I began to remember. The kitchen is completely incapable of dealing with more than 3 tables. Waiter took 20 minutes to acknowledge we existed. Once he brought drinks and took our order I knew things weren't going well as the manager was being called to numerous tables for wait time issues. Now to the food. Eggs Benedict. Gross. I simply asked for poached eggs which IS THE WHOLE POINT of the meal, and crispy hashbrowns and neither arrived. It was inedible. The service was just TERRIBLE. we waited 15min to just be ACKNOWLEDGED at the entrance. A very rude waitstaff person loudly yelled at us "WAIT FIVE MINUTES. THANK YOU" and disappeared and left us at the front for about another 15min. Others were leaving and being helped at the register but not us. This would all be understandable if the place was jam-packed but it was a ghost town? Two or three tables had other people sitting there. When we asked if we were ever going to be seated, the same loud waitstaff yelled at us again to say "You're still here? You can just sit wherever you want on this side" and pointed to booths with dirty dishes still on them. He continued to yell saying "WE ARE SHORT STAFFED SO I CANT SAY ANYTHING. IF YOU WANT TO LEAVE, YOU CAN GO" Worst experience. This is the SECOND time this happened, first I thought it was just a one-off. But here we are again. Went in with 2 of my friends, we got sat and took our drink order. 20mins later, no one came back to our table and we still haven't gotten our drinks after that time. Went in on Thanksgiving Eve and had a poor experience in the beginning. Once the manager (Matt) realized what was going on, he stepped up and did more than needed to make everything right. He did what he thought would make our visit pleasant and he didn't disappoint. We even went back tonight on Thanksgiving and he was there again. He made sure to come and speak to us to thank us for coming back. Last nights waiter even came by to apologize and thanked us for coming back. The waitress never came, we called the manager several times and he never came either. There was a couple that got there at a later time than us and we got our food as they were leaving. We tried contacting them and they also took forever to get back to us, exactly why I am calling corporate.We would never go there EVER again!! Whenever the whole family gets together we tend to go to Denny's for breakfast during our times together. At least once if not more. Reasons being that we all love Denny's, it's cheap, the quantities are massive, the pancakes are so fluffy, and the food is delicious. Breakfast shouldn't be disappointing and this place doesn't disappoint. Super satisfying breakfast and brunch all day. I believe the skillets are new and super hearty, my brother in law and brother both got themselves one and they were decent to share. We ordered pancakes, eggs, bacon, the basics. The kids love it here. Typical Denny's, nice waiters, very accommodating and perfect for taking the entire train to eat breakfast thats served quick because we were starving. read more

Went today and Denny's had 2 chef MIA. Took over an hour to get food that was either burnt or cold. Management should have the courtesy to post that the cook time is over an hour so paying customers get to choose if they want to sit there and hear everyone complaining about how much time it is taking. read more

Open 24hrs. I've only had breakfast here. The 2,4,6,8 dollar value menu is the best. French toast,eggs,bacon, with hash browns lg orange juice, and coffee is easily 12 to 14 dollars somewhere else. Its no Cracker Barrel, but its every bit as good as IHOP. DONT GO TO IHOP IN RICHMOND. Peak times are busy, so get there early on the weekend. 9am or so is going to be crowded. 11am...forget it, I'd rather take my time during a not so busy time. But they handle the crowds well when I was out voted and had to go at 10am anyway. 5 stars. Recommended. read more

I read another review that was from the same location and was recently talking about how if they could give zero stars they would, if I could give negative stars I would do that 100 times. Waited about 20 mins before we even received our drinks, then a new waitress came to help us, gave us our drinks and took our order and never came back to our table after. Then, about 45 mins later we ended up leaving due to the fact that we had not been checked up on, got no refills, or even received word on where our food was or if it was done. If it was busy I would have felt different about the situation, but because there was about three other tables being occupied in the entire restaurant I feel as though this is completely unnecessary. I would highly advise going to a different Denny's. read more
