    Brisket Scrambler
    Carla H.

Very disappointed in the meals and presentations of this restaurant. I've been here like three times and not a great experience. For me I wouldn't have rebooked but my husband asked me to meet him here for brunch so I went this last time. The other two times were not so good either because everything smelt like eggs. My utensils and the plates were just "eggy". I had to ask for new glasses and wipe my utensils with wipes. The first time I went here I had the Classic Arnold and they were delicious (that's why I tried them another time after that). The drinks were also good but the smell of the dishes turned me off and the fruit bowl ordered for my daughter 3/4 of it had spoilt fruits so we had to get another one which was also soft and mushy. Now fast forward to this weekend. I ordered something different than the Benedict I got the cowboy scrambler which seemed good based on the ingredients listed on the menu. My husband got the Brisket scrambler. (I'll post pics) very disappointed in presentation and taste! Again the utensils were "raw and eggy". Luckily I had some plastic utensils in my daughter's back pack. Presentation at least should have been better. Plates were dirty and looked like some feel off the plate and food not tasty at all. Had to add salt and pepper. It was so bland and the hash brown casserole was mushy and didn't even taste like hash brown. My husband doesn't like to send back food even if it doesn't taste good because he's afraid they may get mad and do something to it. So I didn't return it. I just said, this is my last time here! Very very disappointed and upset that we wasted money for our brunch.

Went with my gal pals on a late morning, everyone was super nice and attentive! I really liked the food options, I couldn't decide what to get because everything sounded so good, love that! The drinks were alright though. My food needed a little salt but my gal pals didn't have that problem, overall great place to get some breakfast and chat with the friends! Go there early because it feels up pretty quickly

Cowboy Scramble with a side order of a pancake!

We were traveling and let Yelp guide us to a breakfast place. We were not disappointed, food was plentiful and delicious. I would highly suggest that if you get the Cowboy Scramble that you split it with someone, thanks to our server's suggestion! Listen, I usually don't rant about a pancake but you've got to try one. It tasted like I was eating a fluffy soft muffin, until we meet again I will dream about that pancake Coffee was hot and they had French Vanilla creamer to satisfy my morning fix. It was a hopping place on a Friday morning and service was friendly and fast. Plenty of seating inside and outside. I just need you to build in OKC now....

What a great breakfast/brunch spot this is! I come here pretty often and it never disappoints. The space is clean, the drinks are strong, and the food is absolutely amazing in all aspects of taste, presentation, and proportions. Sometimes the service can be a bit slow, but you also have to take into consideration how busy they can get. Regardless of the wait times that occasionally occur, the meals are always great! This will forever be one of my comfort breakfast restaurants.

I went to this restaurant on a Tuesday morning. They seated us fast and the waiter was great! I ordered a chicken Sandwich and tortilla soup. I liked them both. They had some flavor but not overwhelming. The tortilla soup was really good! I'd definitely recommend coming here.

I had a really enjoyable breakfast here! I liked everything, from the quality of the food, the wonderful staff here and the prices are very fair! The atmosphere and the decor of this restaurant is pleasing and fun. On arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff and seated right away, even though they were very busy. The staff brought us our menus and took our drink requests bring us coffee that was freshly brewed. After looking over the menu, my wife decided on blueberry pancakes and the waitress recommended to me the favorite standard eggs, sausage, hash browns and sourdough toast. Both of our items came out very quickly from the kitchen hot and delicious! The pancakes were a stack of three 12-in very fluffy Flapjacks with loaded with fresh plump and juicy blueberries. The one thing that always makes a restaurant unique is that they bring out warm maple syrup instead of room temperature. I think warm pancake syrup always taste much better! On my plate, my eggs were scrambled, the sausage was perfectly seasoned (and probably some of the best I've had) and the hash browns were unique because they are actually from a casserole and not just fried on a greasy grill. You can really taste the love and quality in those hash browns. The sourdough toast was also really delicious and thick cut slices, just like sourdough should be. The prices here are very reasonable and you can anticipate about $18 per person for a plate of food and coffee. The staff keeps the dining area clean and tidy. And all of them are very attentive and have fantastic attitudes and make you feel welcome. I definitely give the Toasted Yolk two BIG thumbs up and recommend this is a great place for breakfast! The food, the quality, the service, the staff and the overall experience really made it enjoyable and relaxing! I will definitely be coming back here again!

Vegetable scramble, English muffin, fruit, and turkey sausage!!

Came to have breakfast after church with my fiancé! The host and servers were very nice and professional, and very clean restrooms!! I got the vegetable scramble with turkey sausage and fruit, my fiancé got the honey chicken and egg biscuit with hash brown casserole and we shared one fluffy warm pancake!! The food was great

Ordered Prickly Pear Mezcal margarita, Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing light IPA beer, cup of Cream of Cauliflower Soup, Caprese Panini on Focaccia bread with Herbed Fries, West Coaster Panini (Ham, Avocado, Arugula) on Ciabatta bread with Herbed Fries, and a Coffee Fudgy Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream to go. Service was fantastic with our server (Will) being very knowledgeable and friendly. Drinks and food arrived quickly and were fantastic - the drinks were on point, the food ample in quantity and flavorful in taste. The Fudgy Brownie was divine! Well-done! As I mention above, the final tally was a bit shocking. Otherwise, a great place to hang out; planning to return to avail of the Mon/Tue $25 Wine and Bruschetta Board special.

[EDIT only to correct to "Postino"]…read more I use the one-stars sparingly, I really do. This has nothing to do with the food, as we never got that far in the course of my miserable experience at this location (not sure if it's a chain or not). Walked into a relatively quiet restaurant somewhat later in the evening after strolling a bit in the summer Houston heat around the Woodlands. A couple of people recommended Postino. The issue arose when I asked for a possible menu modification. Specifically, I was trying to avoid GOAT CHEESE on the meatball dish I had my eyes on (which otherwise looked pretty tempting). The server indicated that they probably couldn't do it but I nevertheless requested this... a couple of minutes later the server returned with the bad news. Apparently, it simply had to be served as-is, according to the menu. This in itself wouldn't have got me to the point of writing this review. However, I, incredulous, was kind of laughing (you have to laugh) and said something like "so I can only order exactly what's on the menu, and the kitchen can't do anything different?" (slight paraphrasing, perhaps). There wasn't much further conversation with the server but within about 30 seconds of this exchange, a "manager" stormed over to the table and borderline-abusively shouted "is there a problem?!". This "mini-manager" as I will refer to her, proceeded to inform me that they could NOT accommodate changes because it would "violate the integrity of the restaurant" ... I of course I also found a bit humorous, and in this state inquired further about what sense it made to be so obnoxiously strict for someone just trying to grab a quick bite about 30 minutes before closing. I'm sensitive to the work involved in running restaurants and serving obnoxious customers, but I was NOT rude, obnoxious, or difficult. Just blown away by this treatment. I was then informed by the mini-manager that she was from LONDON which I assume meant I should accept that her cosmopolitan background and (I assume vast and high-level culinary experience) meant that I should shut my trap and stop being so picky. At this point I was compelled to mention that I, too, grew up overseas and was very surprised at this complete lack of flexibility. Within another 30 seconds or so of this dialogue, the mini-manager tipped the menu over on the table and abruptly shouted, "you know what, I'm refusing you service!" That made it all easy from there as we promptly (while laughing, partly out of shock) exited the facility. Huge disappointment and embarrassing in my view for a restaurant that seems otherwise to have maintained a great reputation - and especially so for the fact that service (and people in general) in Houston tend to be kind and accommodating, not typically RUDE or reactionary. I'm encouraging this restaurant to have a look at the service model. I can't say I'll try Postino again the next time I'm in Houston, but I certainly hope it continues to truly earn its 4.5 star rating, 'cause they sure did NOT when I was there this weekend.
