The tropical hideaway is a perfect spot for a midday or late night snack at Disneyland. When we arrived we were helped by 2 cast members confirming our order and filling our order. We stopped in after an evening trip to Disneyland. They offer seasonal flavors in addition to the traditional pineapple dole whip. When we stopped in they had pineapple, strawberry, and peach. We decided to try the peach and were not disappointed. The peach had a light flavor that was perfect. Seating can be limited in this area, but there's plenty of space in surrounding areas.

When it's hot at the happiest place on Earth, the dole whip comes in clutch every single time. This was definitely much needed and was the best thing I had on my most recent visit. Super refreshing and light. You could never go wrong with dole whip!!! Strawberry and pineapple swirl = super yummy! Mine was gone in 2.5 seconds.

Maybe now that I've had pineapple frozen yogurt everywhere in the Bay Area, this doesn't quite hit the same as it used to. I got the pineapple and strawberry flat which is basically their soft serve over pineapple juice and just wound up drinking the pineapple juice because the frozen yogurt was way too sweet and artificial for me. Especially the strawberry one. Couldn't enjoy it, and when I gave some to my group they didn't like it either.

Always love this refreshing sweet escape from the crazy Disney crowds! The name perfectly describes it - an outdoor oasis of tables and palm trees. The original smooth pineapple dole whip is my go-to but sometimes do the swirls and recently the pineapple upside down sundae special, which was a bit too sweet. The lines may be long but it goes pretty quickly and even though the seating area seems usually packed, the turnover is pretty high and we usually get a table. Cool and tasty treat that is a must in Disneyland!

If you're looking for the iconic dole whip treat, this is the best place to get it inside Disneyland. You can get in line to order once you get here or mobile order ahead of time. But even when the line looks long, it moves pretty quickly so don't get discouraged. I prefer this place over the Tiki Juice Bar because there are more dole whip options to choose from and the cute tropical themed setting is the perfect place to enjoy a dole whip. Most recently, I got a Dole Whip Swirl Float ($7.99) with strawberry and pineapple dole whip. They also had a peach flavor available. The dole whip is smooth, creamy and sweet but the pineapple juice helps balance out the sweetness. Definitely stop by if you're in the Adventureland area and need a cold, refreshing treat.

I LOVE pineapple upside cake so I had to try this new limited time dessert Pineapple Upside Down Dole Whip. It was really good. There was cake in the bottom of the cup with sauce drizzled inside the cup and filled with dole whip and topped with a scoop of cake crumbles and pineapple chunks. The pineapple chunks were like from a pie filling not fresh so it made it a little overwhelming. But overall it was a great variation of my favorite dessert.

The Tropical Hideaway is one of my favorite places to stop by at Disneyland to get a quick snack! It's a great spot to grab something to eat and drink while having some fun at the same time! It's a unique quick service spot in Disneyland Park near the Jungle Cruise attraction and the Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room in the Adventureland area. The Tropical Hideaway has an amazing jungle oasis theme. It's a great spot to take a break from the theme park rides. It's was nice to be able to sit down and enjoy a cool treat or a quick bite to eat in the outside bazaar style restaurant. The Tropical Hideaway is themed after a traders market and river side hideaway. It features flowing water and glowing tiki torches at night. The Tropical Hideaway is known for serving the Dole Whip soft service options such as the classic pineapple, swirls of other flavors, floats, and seasonal specials. It also offers other snacks like bao buns, lumpia and other options! If you're sitting at the outside patio, you can watch the jungle cruise river go by near the seating! Hours for the quick service snack spot is from 8:00 A.M to 10:00 P.M, but make sure to check the Disneyland app! Most items are $14.99 and under! Right now, there is the DOLE Whip, Strawberry Sundae which included fresh diced strawberries, shortcake, and strawberry drizzle! It's so delicious!

Came here to try Dole whip, and it's really good! They have different flavors you can get as a swirl, or you can just get the original pineapple flavor. It's sweet and tangy and very refreshing.

Got the dole whip today! Definitely enjoy the soft serve; it's not too sweet, not too bland. It's perfect for a hot day like today. Flavor is on point, relatively fast service - order and go style of a shop. Additionally there's a nice seating area with a cool view of jungle cruise, super clean and organized thanks to the cast members.

I'm surprised this place doesn't have thousands of reviews! This is my favorite spot in Disneyland!! The dole whip is incomparable!!! The service is pretty fast and good! I would highly recommend ordering ahead on the app!

The perfect spot for a delicious pick me up treat when you're at the parks. Especially in hot weather, the original pineapple dole whip is refreshing, cooling, and the perfect bite of slightly tart, smooth creamy sweetness. Though I often gravitate towards the classic dole whip it is fun to change it up with their fun seasonal offerings from time to time. For those who seek a savory snack, they do offer lumpia and bao as well. There's a shaded seating area with tables for you to take rest your feet as you enjoy your treats. The one downside is the lines can get a bit long though it does move at a decent rate!

The Tropical Hideaway is a little expensive, but it's another must-have stop for us every time we visit Disneyland. We ALWAYS get the Dole Whip! This time we tried the strawberry and peach swirl and it was sooo good. I'm a huge fan of peach, so it ended up being my favorite. We also ordered the pork baos, which were my daughter's favorite of the day. I tried the shrimp and chive bao. The flavor was really good, especially with the sauce, but I felt it was a little heavy on the green onion and didn't have as much shrimp as I expected. Overall though, the food is fun, the service is great, and the ambiance is always amazing. It's Disneyland--you really can't beat the atmosphere, even when it's crowded!

When in Disneyland, definitely need to get myself a pineapple dole whip! Pineapple dole is one of the most popular dessert in the park. Located in Adventureland. They have many seating. My boyfriend never had a dole whip so he was in for a treat. I got myself the pineapple upside down sundae as part of their 70th anniversary menu. The sundae consists of pineapple dole whip, caramel drizzle and pineapple upside-down cake, topped with a Maraschino Cherry. The sundae was huge. It is shareable. Pineapple dole was good as usual. Cake was a bit on the harder side. Caramel drizzle was on the sweeter side but a nice touch. Mobile order is not an option.

I have been to other Salt and Straw locations, including the locations in Newport Beach, New York City (Upper West Side), Downtown LA, and San Diego (Little Italy), but the visit I had yesterday at the Anaheim was unparalleled. We entered in at about 5:45 pm. Usually the line at this establishment is lengthy, but we fortunately only had to wait a few minutes before being helped. While in line, I noticed that the store was impeccably clean, and everyone working behind the counter were very pleasant greeting every customer that entered while they were busy assisting the other eager customers. Jacob (the name of the gentleman who helped my fiancé and I select our ice cream flavors) was incredibly patient as we tried about 8 different flavors and went above in beyond in providing us with additional flavors to sample and providing us with his ice cream flavor pairing recommendations. Normally we stick to the more traditional ice cream flavors, but wanted to try something new this visit. We were blown away by the many odd but curiously delicious flavors that were being offered. After tasting the wildly unique flavors (including Gruyere Cheese and Tomato, Arbequine Olive Oil, Rhubarb Crumble with Toasted Anise, and Wildflower Honey and Lemon Chess Pie), Jacob suggested that we pair the Rhubarb Crumble with Toasted Anise and Wildflower Honey and Lemon Chess Pie together. We loved this suggestion, and gladly obliged. Jacob even went out of his way to explain what a Chess Pie was (I had no idea what it was, but now I'm going to scope out a place to try it!), and even asked if we had a preference of which ice cream flavor scoop was stacked on top of the other scoop. What began as a spur of the moment decision to get ice cream on a hot day, turned out to be such a fun tasting experience (all thanks to Jacob!) that left us excited to return and order our next unique ice cream pairing. We're thinking Gruyere and Tomato paired with Albequina Olive Oil, but who knows which tantalizing flavors will be featured upon our return!

Instead of helping, he gave us a condescending look and snapped, "Did you look?" When we told him we already checked, he visibly rolled his eyes, refused to step in, and dumped us off onto another staff member telling them "Help them." with clear attitude. He spent the rest of the time glare-staring at customers entering the shop. You expect friendly, welcoming service in Downtown Disney, but this guy was shockingly rude and dismissive. Absolutely terrible customer service, we won't be returning.

The service was disappointing, the guy who worked there seemed like he didn't care and it was just another job. No life to him and was just rude about asking the code for the bathroom. The mint and chip is basic. Nothing too much about it. My kids like it, so I got it. Average 3/5. The rose ice cream tasted like a rose, it was pretty good and very floral. The disappointing part is I was hoping the ice cream would be shaped like a rose as depicted on the picture. Nope, just a scoop and left it as is. 5/5 for taste and 0/5 for presentation. The milk and cereal one was actually pretty good. Especially with Frosted Flakes in it. It literally taste like cereal. 5/5. It's a small mom and pop donut shop with a drive-thru, it's a bit dark and inconspicuous, especially at 4 am when I went. I ordered 3 of their blueberry donuts with a Vietnamese ice coffee. The donuts were fresh and warm with a nice blueberry flavor, extremely delicious. So they definitely live up to the hype! The donut itself weren't overly cakey and had a nice crunch to them due to the glaze that's over them but still very soft on the inside. However, the Vietnamese iced coffee was just okay as the coffee flavor wasn't strong enough and it tasted like a regular iced coffee with cream. Also, I wished the ice was crushed instead of cubed. You're off getting better Vietnamese iced coffee from 7 leaves or any other place. Maybe I had a bad batch so try it you may like it. Regardless, I won't be coming here for the iced coffee just the donuts. The gentleman taking my order was very nice and so sweet. He was quite welcoming and so happy, we had up a very small conversation. I think he may have been the only one working that morning so it took a little longer than expected like 7-10 minutes but I am not complaining as the donuts I believe are made to order and I was also the only one in the drive-thru line so I didn't feel too bad. I will definitely be back! I would like try more of their donuts and maybe a different drink.

I'm also a little confused by the name M&M Donuts because they didn't seem to have any M&M donuts, and they're mainly known for their blueberry donuts anyway. If I came back, I'd probably go closer to closing time. The number of cars doesn't seem to change much throughout the night, and with how slowly the line moves, you might end up getting your donuts around closing time regardless. Very solid blueberry donuts, especially when they're fresh, but the long drive-thru wait is pretty inconvenient.
