Please BEWARE!!! Raquel uses a bait-and-switch tactic. She will quote you a reasonable price over the phone when you tell her the SF and bed/bath of your living area so you can agree to her services. However, upon arrival is where all the games will begin. My unit was a small +/- 1,100 SF condo 2 bed/1 bath, completely vacant with new flooring and fixtures. About a half an hour in, she said while the place was empty and new, it had way too much "dust" which would require too much time, and immediately charged my double what she quoted over the phone lol. While I thought that was completely unfair, I had no wish or desire to reschedule and find another crew in the limited time I had, so we agreed to meet somewhere in the middle of the increase price. And this is the part that really bothered me the most! I left to get a coffee and while I left, she texted that she pulled out of the job and left because I didn't agree to her double rate she quoted me last minute. I texted her back several times immediately after, I tried calling her back, and not even a response. The funny thing is I would've still begrudgingly agreed to her increased double price even though I knew I was being ripped off, but its the way she pulled out of the job with no notice, no return to my calls/texts that was so rude and so unprofessional which bothered me the most. Keep in mind, ive used this women 4-5 times before for other previous work sites. But as her business has grown, so has her "games", so has her "attitude" and too has her lack of professionalism and ripping people off. In the end, she only managed to damage herself as I continuously always have 3-4 deep cleaning jobs a year which will go to another competitor instead. Overall, just a very unpleasant women to work with who will play "price games" with you in staggered stages so you don't feel the immediate hit, you're better off going somewhere else. read more

The cleaners did an average job. For a deep cleaning, I was expecting all baseboards, inside and outside of refrigerator to be cleaned, but that wasn't the case. The owner only accepts cash payment. She agreed to provide a receipt after the service, but I still haven't received any one day after the service. Also, the 2 cleaners who came to my home were talking non- stop with each other the entire time. This was quite disturbing. Update - since I posted this review, they sent me the receipt and came back to clean the baseboard and the bottom of the refrigerator. They have sleazy business practices. I used them a handful of times for my two properties and they charged me different amounts every single time for the same job. Which was OK with me, I understand the cost of supplies has increased lately. But the last time she asked for more money DAYS AFTER the job was already complete AND AFTER I had already paid her. Pretty bummed. I don't want to leave a bad review but after trying to work it out - they've taken my money and ghosted me. Crew showed up late. There were three cleaners. Lovely ladies. Nothing personal to them. However, I asked for a deep clean post construction. It's a small space so they were done in an hour. I figured three workers... made it quick. Well, turns out my regular housekeeper could have done a better job for less. Everything was clean.. but it was like a basic clean (and the space was already clean mind you). Floors were still dirty with construction dust. The floorboards weren't done and neither were the walls - which is something they told me they do in a deep clean. Since I was moving stuff in the next day, I just ended up recleaning the walls, baseboards and floors... at which point I found a scratch in my new floors!!! The scratch lead to a large tool box that had clearly been dragged on the floor causing the scratch. I reached out to Raquel and she was prompt to apologize. I wanted to give them a chance to make it right. They offered to try and get the scratch out and reclean, which I appreciated but since movers were coming that day with stuff, I asked for a rain check. She said yes. Then said she'd give me a discount. WTF? So I have to pay for a second clean when not only did they not do what I paid them to do but they damage my brand new floors? I've tried to clarify and make it work but she's stopped responding. Learn from my mistake. Lots of good cleaners in LA. Don't need this mess. read more

Excellent! R&J are great organizers. They're upbeat, friendly and fast. I had a complicated job, setting up protection in my garage for an upcoming roof replacement (which will cause a lot of black grit to go through roof boards in rooms with exposed rafters). This can create horrible messes that get into nicks and crannies -- very hard to clean up. So i was worried about how to organize and tarp a garage with almost 40 years of stuff in it, and worried that i didn't have things set up enough for a crew to know what to do. I rarely post Yelp reviews anymore, but I have to write this. On Thursday morning, I called to request a quote. I told the lady it's a 4bed/3bath house. Approx 1200 sq ft. She quoted $350 and said to text her the address. The next day, I wasn't home, so my roommate was the one who let them in. THREE HOURS into cleaning, we're told they want to charge $50 more because apparently I told her it was only 1 bathroom and the place is too big? What 4 bedroom house only has 1 bathroom?? This is such a sketch way of getting more money from customers. We refused to pay the extra charge because I gave her the correct details of the house. She then asks if I'm the girl she spoke with on Wednesday (I was not). Clearly, she had her notes mixed up. She also said that she asked me to text her the details of the place, but she did not. She only requested the address. And if that's true, why didn't she ask for the details after I texted the address??? Also, I told them they didn't have to clean the windows since it was extra. She tells me that someone told them to (no one did). In the end, they really did do a good job. If you decide to go with this company, be cautious and provide all details and get confirmation of everything over text!!!! read more

We hired these guys to clean our apartment that we share with roommates. Wouldn't recommend. Wasn't much of a deep clean. The cleaning was worth a third of the cost probably. They tried to leave the place half cleaned but we asked them to finish tidying up. Still wasn't very clean, hair on toilet seats and left toilet seat up. They knocked pill bottles off the dresser and didn't pick them up, which is dangerous because we have dogs. One of the girls sat on our roommates bed and watched videos on her phone while there was still a lot to clean up in the room. This experience was not as great as I thought it could have been. I chose this company over many others and am now regretting my choice. I requested a deep (move-in) cleaning and got a regular house cleaning. I arranged everything with a woman named Raquel via text message, provided my expectations, and agreed to the price without flinching. The crew (without Raquel) arrived and got to work. They did a good job on rooms that did not need deep cleaning but did a mediocre job on the kitchen and service porch, particularly the floors. I think they may have been tired by the time they started on the kitchen which needed the most work. The floors were only mopped and not scrubbed. The drawers and shelves were not properly un-papered and scrubbed. Unfortunately, I have to call another company to do the cleaning I wanted. But I take responsibility for that. On top of all of it, the ladies bumped and disconnected my optic cable on my wi-fi without letting me know, broke the lateral window blinds without letting us know, misplaced some items that we find curious, asked for the money as if we OWED a tip, and lastly did not do a walkthrough with us before leaving.
