Were these the best wings I've ever had in Brevard County? No, not even close. But they were definitely the cheapest. This place isn't kid friendly but that's probably obvious. They gave us a booster seat for my toddler but there were no buckles on it, so it wasn't very safe lol. If you have kids, sit in the screened patio outside. It has much less of a bar atmosphere. This place is perfect if you just want beer or wings specifically on wednesdays between 3-6. Any other time it's nothing special. Been hearing about the wings the wings the wings from a coworker. Well played 18 holes on the adjacent golf course Turtle Creek and grabbed some lunch. I had the home in and my son had the boneless. We shared a basket of fries. My bone in were fried well hot and I had the medium hot sauce on the side. They were great. Well done and the sauce had just the right amount of Buffalo seasoning and heat. My son gave the boneless a two thumbs up. The star was the fries. Really crispy on the outside and soft on the center. Very good. The interior was clean and our server Sam did a great job. On as hot day as it was she kept the fluids flowing and the A/C was on blast. Great way to end a round of golf. read more

Man oh man those mahi mahi tacos made my dick hard. As soon as those tacos hit my wet lips I had to change my pants. Those tacos were just of out this world. We were forced against our will to watch women's basketball which sucked but ya know ya win some ya lose some. Anyways im just so impressed by the service here boy oh boy was it good. My boyfriend and I went to TB for dueling pianos night last night. We did not reserve a table in the dining area, but you can enjoy the show anywhere that is within eyeshot of the stage. The show was very entertaining! I do recommend reserving a table if you plan to enjoy dueling pianos. The establishment was clean, open, and well lit. For those who are there to enjoy some sports, the tvs are big and positioned strategically to enjoy the game! I want to give my accolades and thanks to the co-owner, Jen. She was very accommodating! Like I said, we didn't make reservations, but she was ready set up a small table for us in the show dining area. We lucked out and sat at a reserved table made available bc the customers did not show up. The food was delicious! I ordered 6 piece bone in chicken wings in mango habanero sauce. The sauce had a sweet flavor with a medium heat at the tail end. The wings were a good size, moist and had a slight crispness. Highly recommend! Twisted Birch- Rockledge, FL- 2.5 Stars "Food is the most important meal of the day." - Nikhil Saluja Eyeing my set of clubs in the garage, I shook my head and clamored into the Big Boy Mobile to head up to Rockledge for my latest food venture. Setting the GPS for Turtle Creek Golf Course, I began to reminisce a bit about my golf playing days when "I wore a younger man's clothes", to quote Mr. Joel. Good times, I concluded as I pulled into the parking lot. What am I doing at a golf course, you ponder? The name spewed forth from my name generator today was none other than Twisted Birch, the eatery located within the Turtle Creek Golf Course. After all, even people out ruining a perfectly good walk need to eat. However, I would be remiss if I didn't state that this is a real restaurant, not some "19 Hole" cafe one finds on golf courses across this nation. After being shown to a table and handed a menu I was left alone to contemplate the said menu. Other than some creative naming, the menu was your typical "sports bar" grub with chicken wings, nuggets, the fried grub of various sources and of course a full bar. I was interrupted from my perusing before too long by a Gen Z er who actually introduced himself as Sean. I guess there is a modicum of hope yet for this misguided, lost generation. Not much, but some is better than none. Sean was really something else and deserves high praise for a job well done. I put in an order for some Fish and Chips and a Boujee Bologna sandwich. While waiting for Sean's return, I took the opportunity to glance about the place a bit and was rewarded with a neat, clean interior that was sparsely populated at this time of the day. They do offer live music and events so I am sure it picks up a bit on nights and weekends. Faster than a twitch of a coon dog's tail, Sean was seen returning with my grub. This would be a good time for you to take a quick gander at the pictures accompanying this review. Looking at the food, it sure looked great. The Fish was fried to a perfect golden hue while the chips were also done justice. While I had no problem with the quality of the fish and chips, they were overdone. I am guessing the cook either went on a smoke break or grabbed something to drink, regardless, it was clear he turned his attention toward something else while my food was cooking. They were overcooked to the point of being inedible, and they were far past the point of perfect or even on-point frying. Moving our attention to the next item on our menu we come to the oh so fun to utter, Boujee Bologna Sandwich. Is it just me, or is that really fun to say? I feel early 20th Century when I say it. The sandwich itself was cute, tasty and enjoyable to eat. The bread was grilled to perfection, the bologna was cut nice and think and the spicy brown mustard gave it just the right amount of kick to make sure I was still awake. The slaw sadly was your average Sysco lower grade slop. I would be remiss if I failed to mention the anathema contained on the menu. I speak of the evil "smash burgers." As an eating populace, I implore you to write your local representative to see if we can't get these atrocities to the food industry removed and banned from all menus. Went here for breakfast and was blown away by the good food, atmosphere & service. Located directly on a beautiful golf course there's an option to sit outside on the screened in porch or inside, also outside at the full service bar. I've been here for lunch before and loved their poutine & wings. This time I went Easter Sunday with a limited menu, I got "Jenn's omelette" which consisted of feta cheese, fresh spinach, bacon bits and came with hashbrowns. The feta cheese was so light fluffy and tasted so fresh I swear they made it on premises. My daughter got cannoli stuffed French toast with mini chocolate chips which I had a bite of and it was mouthwatering, perfect amount of stuffing not too overpowering. My 93 year old (Veteran) father-in-law wanted to go to Twisted Birch for wings. He has trouble walking and has a bad shoulder so he can't really brace himself easily. They did not have any low tables on the main floor (back room was closed to new seatings, only high-tops were on the main floor and the only lower booths were up on a raised stage which he could not navigate). They would not make any effort to bring over a low table (from the back) and when we asked them to accommodate our party the clueless, younger so-called manager made some snide remark (under his breath). We obviously had to leave and my father-in-law was apologizing to us because he couldn't sit in the seats available. We felt so bad for him. Everyone was appalled. Not only is this a crystal clear violation of the federal ADA statute (and yes I will be filing a formal complaint), it shows a complete lack of compassion to our elderly (especially our veterans). We will NEVER go back and I'm sure Veterans and anyone else offended by this restaurants' actions tonight will not want to spend their money at the Twisted Birch. You may not be able to right a wrong or injustice somewhere else but you can surely have a beer or a dinner at ANY OTHER establishment. This is just so wrong. Shame on Twisted Birch read more

Came here on a busy Saturday night with a private party going on. However, this did not effect our dinner at all. Food and service was quick. Our server Jeana answered all our questions, explained menu items & made suggestions based on our preferences. And kept checking in on us to see if we needed anything. Inside is a sports bar feel with lots of beer on tap and tv screens for games. Food was great I had the blackened Mahi tacos, tortilla chips and slaw. Husband had the pot roast birrias which he said were very good. We will be back to try their brunch on the weekends! read more

I want to start out by saying I love this place, the food is great and all the employees are great. Just had one bad experience tonight though with one of your employees and can't shake just how idiotic the guy was. The bearded guy that works there approached me as I was leaving out the door just yelling at me that my dog can't be at the restaurant. I was taken back cause I've been to twisted birch 4-5 times with him and have never heard anything except nice things and compliments from the staff on how behaved he is. I have no issue if he is not allowed here your employee just yelling at me after we just had a nice dinner and drink there, talking to the staff and them interacting with my dog per usual, doesn't help.. He should learn some basic customer service skills "I'm sorry, not sure why know one has mentioned, your dog can't be here, blah blah blah" .. talking to me like a human, be respectful, it goes far.. I'm now curious, was this guy just having a bad night and picking on me or are dogs not allowed at the restaurant? Either is obviously totally fine, just would like if I had a short interaction about it with an adult instead of your bearded man child with an authority complex. Our first time to TTB, we ordered take out & upon entry to the restaurant, we asked if our order was ready & were told it was not. Note a large take out order was sitting at the register & we asked specifically if it was ours. As it wasn't, we hung out at the bar. 20 min later asked again if our food was ready & were told they check... at the end we looked at the take out bags receipts noted the food that had been sitting there for 20+ minutes was ours.... So we got it home, a few little things missing (cheese on the cheeseburger, ranch & celery sticks for the wings, oyster crackers) reheated the food in the air fryer, and it was great tasting. Good burgers, crispy wings, yummy fries, decent chowder... Summary... we would return but only to eat at the restaurant. Take out is not recommended by our crew. I called a few weeks ahead to see if they would be willing to accommodate a youth hockey team and their families, a party of about 50. The manager arranged for us to have the back room. Our servers were attentive, friendly, and patient. The food came out quickly and was great. They managed to get everyone in and out in roughly an hour. Everyone was very pleased. read more

First time we ordered it was very good. Everyone was happy. I ordered Fish, daughter had this weird pulled pork and Mac N cheese sandwich, kids had tacos. I meant to order the fish again but ordered the steak. I cannot have pepper it was drenched in pepper and spices. I asked for a sample of the pot roast. Willing to pay for it but instead I received double pepper gravy!! Steak was stone cold, so was everything else like it was refrigerated. It's a shame. I love coming here. I went with a friend for dinner in a Sunday night. I had the veggie burger which was delicious as well as the sweet potato fries. The ambience and service is always great. Bar none ...This was the Worst meal I've ever been served ... hands down. I ordered upon recommendation of the very congenial and attractive bartender, the pasta and shrimp entree. I was starving this evening and was told by locals, the place had good food, at least they did when they last visited, a year ago. But the glop I was served (that was supposed to be one of the most ordered dishes) tasted like the cook was out to prank me and dumped an entire shaker of salt into the meal. To give you an idea of the taste, pick up one of those ninety nine cent mac and cheese microwave plates from the 99 cent store. Dump a half a cup of salt into it until its uneatable. I'm telling you, the cheap microwave food would be an improvement. In my lifetime, this has to be in the top 5 of worst meals I've ever been served. To be truthful, the bartender talked to the manager and gave me a slight discount. That slight discount didn't even cover the quart of Pepto I ran out to buy at Publix. My stomach was killing me. I just got home and checked to see if the salt affected my blood pressure. My blood pressure is right now, through the roof. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I don't like to post a bad review. My family owned several restaurants in NYC. We were proud of our food and our customers were like family. If one of our cooks served a meal like this, my family would make sure he was out on the street shortly. And if my manager didn't do everything in his power to make this right for the customer ... not discount a few dollars. He'd follow too. Needless to say ... I will NEVER SET foot in this place again. It's a shame because it's a cute distraction from Florida's chain food restaurants and the help is very congenial, but heck, my health is more important. read more
