My first clue that things were not as they should be was when Julia asked my wife how she wanted her Salisbury steak cooked. Hmmm. The food took longer than it should to come out, but that was OK because we were in no hurry. When it did come out, my wife and I both looked at the "Salisbury Steak" and realized that, in fact, it was not what it was supposed to be. Instead, it was an actual steak. On the other hand, my omelet, with bacon crumbles and Swiss cheese, was good, my hashbrowns were extra crispy as I asked for, and the pancakes, which the cook forgot to make but that came out pretty quickly anyway, were pretty good. My wife ordered one of their giant cinnamon buns to go. We didn't see Julia for a time, and so my wife flagged down another server and asked if what she had was Salisbury steak. As expected the server said no. Julia came over shortly after. I said, "My wife ordered the Salisbury steak." Julia said, "Yes?". I said, "That's not Salisbury steak." She then realized her mistake and apologized repeatedly. What my wife received was the Iron Skillet Steak. Not sure about the misunderstanding. Julia offered to make the Salisbury steak to go, but my wife, being very nice and considerate, told her she'd be OK with the Iron Skillet Steak.
