My mom turned 82 today and has compromised pulmonary issues and when i saw all this the first thing that ran through my mind is I hope she's not gonna inhale all that stuff and have a rough day tomorrow breathing. Again, admittedly, yes, I am being picky but when I take 12 people out to dinner and drop a couple hundred dollars doing such, I want the place to be sharp and on point. My first clue that things were not as they should be was when Julia asked my wife how she wanted her Salisbury steak cooked. Hmmm. The food took longer than it should to come out, but that was OK because we were in no hurry. When it did come out, my wife and I both looked at the "Salisbury Steak" and realized that, in fact, it was not what it was supposed to be. Instead, it was an actual steak. On the other hand, my omelet, with bacon crumbles and Swiss cheese, was good, my hashbrowns were extra crispy as I asked for, and the pancakes, which the cook forgot to make but that came out pretty quickly anyway, were pretty good. My wife ordered one of their giant cinnamon buns to go. We didn't see Julia for a time, and so my wife flagged down another server and asked if what she had was Salisbury steak.
