Marlon, Ozny, Daniel, and the rest of the team were always incredibly responsive and understood our concerns immediately. They were able to talk us through any concerns we had throughout the job and proactively gave us a heads up on what was coming next so we were never surprised by anything. When the job was finished, our wall was in better shape than ever, with better insulation and a clean facade inside and out, as if nothing had happened. Meanwhile we know it's built well and will last a long time, and we had confidence at every step of the way. We'll be reaching out to Marlon again for all our future jobs. Luis was professional and easy to work with. The pricing was very reasonable, and the quality of his team's installation was high. We appreciated that he honored the initial quote even after we requested a slightly higher-priced brand of Sheerrock board. After the prime coat of painting was applied, we noted some uneven surfaces. Luis was patient and communicative, providing clear explanations and proactively offering to visit the site to advise our painter on handling the spots. Fortunately, these were resolved effectively through standard sanding by the painting crew. Universal had to re-do a flat roof that was put on in September of 2025 by a different roofer…read more That roofer, to say the least, was negligent, had no clue how to install a PTO roof, unprofessional, and breached its contract and we had a leak within 3 months. The inspector refused to pass inspection due to their work. Universal and Bruce stepped in and stepped up. They had to completely strip the bad roof, repair some rotted wood the other roofer denied we had (and just roofed over it), built the drainage we had but was removed, and did the job right. Customer service was excellent. They completed the job in a timely manner. It was a duplex that had not been painted for over 30 years. They were thorough, pressure washing and masking/ caulking everything. It was a FULL exterior painting project, including the floor and gates/side railings. They did it all. Part of their method was that instead of renting scaffolding for the front which is VERY expensive and time consuming, they used a boom lift for only a couple of days. They worked smarter not harder. Saved us as the customer so much more money and more convenient for the tenants. Return Factor- we loved their work so much, had our own 2 story house painted the very next month. Again, it was quality work and worth the price. They did it all before the rains came.
