Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Took 3 weeks to get into the store to have kids try on uniforms. Spent a fortune and was told two week turn around for the school name to be placed on items. SEVEN weeks later........ Phone is not answered and won't respond to texts. I've had two experiences with the uniform store and both of them were terrible. The first one was during Covid and they wouldn't let my daughter try on anything so we had to order based on measurements. The majority the items we ordered did not fit so I asked for an exchange. They would not allow any exchanges or returns due to Covid so we were stuck with items that didn't fit. The second experience we ordered a sweatshirt and it took forever to be delivered and once we received it it was too small. Today we took it back to exchange for a larger size and they refused to do our exchange. This place has the worst customer service and the uniform sizes are not standard so it makes it hard to find the right sizes for your kids. read more

I am not usually one to write a review on a business but I felt inclined to share this. After purchasing upwards of $400 at this store online I called to exchange one item that was $50 because the sizing was extremely off. The store refused to help me out in any way. Wouldn't exchange the item, wouldn't replace the item, and wouldn't even give me a discount to replace the item. If you can I advise you shop elsewhere. read more

Schools beware! Do not take your business here. I originally ordered on 8/26/22. I made an appointment for a fitting. They responded to that request just fine. I kept calling , left several VMs, they have a text option, I texted and I also emailed. I finally had time to personally walk in to check on my order on 9/20/22 and only one piece of a 3 piece order was at the store. No one had updated me. I asked for the remaining pieces to be delivered at no change. The cashier Rachel was kind enough to waive the delivery fee. I ordered another 2 pieces. Luckily they had a polo with the school name already in store in my daughters size. I have to wait for the jumper to be embroidered. I asked her to ship with the other pieces. It's now a week later and I've called emailed and texted today for an update. I don't have enough uniforms for the entire week. I thought ordering a month in advance would have been sufficient time. My number 1 complaint is lack of communication to paying customers and the school for updates. School pics are coming and we still don't have the required cardigan or an update. I hope after all these attempts it reaches someone that can update me on my order. My older daughter also ordered online and paid a delivery fee and is yet to receive an update. I inquired when I was at the store and all Rachel can say that they jackets are not ready. I hope schools see this and don't make parents only have one store to go to. read more

It's our first time shopping for uniforms and I have to say the service was good ( not great)! A very attentive young girl assisted my daughter and I but she did lack a little knowledge. I have to say I'll pay to get quality and comfort but we didn't have much to choose from! What I will say is their sweaters and coats are way overpriced for what they are. Their polos were either to small or way to big and well that goes with everything we bought! But my biggest bother is if I buy their items and get their embroidery it's between $4.50 to $6 per, somewhere in that range, but if I want to buy better quality somewhere else they will charge me $14 to $20 per (just for the embroidery) now that to me is a ripoff because it's not like we have another options to get our uniforms embroidered somewhere else, the school only gave them the logo and I think they exploit that! read more

I've been going here for 11 years for my kids uniforms. The prices, quite honestly, aren't my favorite but this is what the school has chosen so we just make sure to budget for it. Walking in we were immediately welcomed and asked what school we were with. They gave us a print out of our list, brought us to a dressing room and started bringing multiple sizes so we could see what worked best. One of the colors of pants wasn't in stock so they ordered them and texted me when they came in. I was graciously assisted from entrance to exit, so thankful for the help! Had to take in my daughter for this years uniforms. Every year my daughter grows and to be honest she is never the exact size for her age, height and weight.... I had managed to find some skirts that I thought would fit, and after 4 different sizes I was ready to walk. The store was busy, but once I made eye contact with a young lady, she greeted me and asked if I needed help. I told her that all the skirts had been way to long and none of them looked like they fit my daughter. Without hesitation she left and came back with a skirt and said "try this"....I was about to cry...it fit!! Turns out she needed a 1/2 size. Thank you to the young lady for all your help!! I went in today to purchase my daughter a couple of shorts. Upon entering the store I was greeted by a lovely young lady who asked me which school I was looking for. She took me to the section where the shorts were according to my daughters school/uniform. I ended up purchasing one pair only because I wasn't too sure about the size. Only negative was the fact that they only had 1 pair in the size I purchased. She did mention placing a special order but I didn't ask for any information so I'm not too sure. I hope they fit her and if they do I hope they have more in stock by the time I go back. read more

Terrible help. I went in to purchase two more skirts for my daughter and had them pull up my previous purchase to make sure I was buying the correct size/ item and the girl first off gave me one skirt and one skort which I luckily noticed as I was checking out but then when I got home I realized they sold me the wrong skirts and the wrong size!!!!! The skirt I had purchased prior had the adjustable waist and the ones they sold me did not!!! I'm going back to the store and I hope they will let me exchange because they don't fit her. What a waste of time. *Update- (I added a star) So the first sales girl I spoke with was pretty much not going to do anything about the problem and re-stated the return policy to me. The second girl though pulled up my account and INDEED there it was.... The girl who helped me gave me the wrong skirt and size because she looked at the completely WRONG ITEM. Mistakes happen but when your return policy is as bad as theirs I would expect the sales associates to be more accurate and helpful. I am so thankful for sweet girl who did the return for me, she totally understood that I was at their mercy for something that wasn't my fault. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE AND RETURN POLICY! So the first time I went there was a young lady who was very helpful in helping my daughter and I pick out skirts but the second time we came back to buy the skirts, they gave me the wrong size! So when my daughter went home to try them on, one didn't fit. So we took it back hoping to get a refund and realized that after it was logo'd, they didn't except returns! The store is a little small.. they only have 3 dressing rooms and they are super tiny.. I went during the week and they had young kids working and assisting getting uniforms. They need to train them better while on the floor.. I had this girl tell me I needed to buy certain uniforms when it wasn't needed.. I told her it's not required by the school and she assured me it was. I called the school and of course she was wrong.. everything is expensive there and the thought that this girl wanted me to spend and extra $100 is ridiculous.. the cashiers aren't friendly either.. they give attitude and are not welcoming.. it looks like everyone there hates their job read more

These guys know their business, they are ready for you when you step in. And they are courteous and quick. They are knowledgeable about the unforms they carry, and answer any question that may pop in your head. They are espectacular with cranky kids. I am holding the fifth star hostage... because why in the world would you call a busy Mom, to tell her the order is ready, to make her wait while you do the PE screening? Why not do it BEFORE? I have visited this store several times and I am consistently amazed at their rudeness. I just visited them again today for a scheduled "fitting". It is their new policy due to COVID 19- not mine. As a customer, it would seem that taking care of appointments is a priority - to make sure whoever comes in the store - will order a uniform and better yet, would want to order a lot of clothing. With schools potentially not opening- you would think they would care about keeping their jobs. Our "fitter" was consistently in the back room and nowhere to be found - while I am certain it is more interesting in the back room, your customer is not back there. It wasn't much different when there was no virus. More, when we were finished with trying on sizes (so much for help with a "fitter"), again there was no one around to help. I walked to the front of the store to give back the clothes that my child tried on and they did not even lift a finger. Instead they looked at me like - why are you bothering me? I guess they didn't want their clothes back. I am convinced this attitude comes from management as it is the same vibe every time I visit this store. This is not Nordstrom's or Newman Marcus - it is a uniform store. There is absolutely no reason for the ridiculous rudeness. This isn't the only uniform store in San Diego and I am going to advocate that our school change uniforms stores. Obviously, based on other posts and your ratings- I am not the only one who has had this wonderful (NOT) experience. read more

I'm so upset that I have to pay for these overpriced, low quality shirts. I recently bought some for my son and when I picked it up, the color looked like they were already faded, the collar edges were frayed and honestly the material just feels cheap. I could buy better quality polos from Walmart. The embroidery wasn't amazing either - I could probably go anywhere and have it done for much cheaper on a better quality shirt. The whole experience was just annoying. And agree with other reviewers that you have to get one of the girls attention (make eye contact) to get anyone to help you out. read more

Educational Outfitters is the new vendor for Sacred Heart Parish School. They came to our school on a Saturday in order to accommodate us but ran out of my daughter's size. The pricing is better than the previous vendor, and they were very pleasant to work with. I'm just grateful to have it all done! read more

Went in to purchase my sons uniforms. First time here so we were assisted by two really great sales clerks. They were both attentive and helpful. The only thing that left a bad taste in our (my husband and I) mouths were the ladies that were working the cash registers. The lady who rang us up was pleasant and asked one of the other young lady's to go and get another shirt, with a tag, because the one we were purchasing didn't have one. I guess she didn't feel like going so she directed the lady ringing us to "just type it in". The lady that was ringing us up kept saying "no, what if they want to return?". You can tell the girl just didn't want to go get another one and she kept directing the lady ringing us to just "type it". I'm glad the cashier had sense enough to just ask someone else but that was odd. I mean, we spent well over $300 so for her to run and grab another shirt for us shouldn't have been an issue but unfortunately this is what happens when you have employees. Some take ownership of their store sales and some don't. Again, this store has very friendly clerks so I'm fairly pleased with our experience other than this young lady. All in all, we will return and ensure we pay attention to every item having a tag since they have such a strict return policy. read more

The quality of the uniforms they sell is horrible. It's a shame because it's the only vendor we can buy uniforms from. They have lost my order twice, and are routinely out of the size my son wears. There are two or three months out of the year you can't even get the sizes you need online because they are doing "inventory" so they run their supply down even at the warehouse. It's retarded. The employees are young kids without a care in the world-especially about uniform orders. Too bad I can't go anywhere else. I sure would. read more

This seems to be the only uniform store. We had to make an appointment for our fitting. That was fine and the associate was very helpful. I don't like that we have to wait 2 weeks to pick them up. When it was ready, we got a text message. We headed over to the store to pick up the uniforms and there was a LONG line in front of the store. I thought I would just be able to go in and pick up my items since they were ready and paid for. It looked like they had a separate window for pick up only it was not being utilized. I think that would be very helpful, especially since it is the back to school season. I think being better stocked and staffed during the back to school season would make the most sense. I would assume it would be much slower during the majority of the school year. They have to remember people drive from ALL OVER San Diego county to get to them, often on lunch breaks from work etc. so prompt pick up service would be helpful. read more

My kids have been in private school for about 15 years now. I've dealt with different stores, uniform quality, pricing and service. Education outfitters is the best one yet. It's a big store and a one stop shop. The quality is good and the clothes lasts all year long. The prices are very reasonable not Like others that over price their product. The service is on point. They are very well stocked and if they don't have what you need they get it quick. The store is clean and well organized. Also a plus they have a kids play area to entertain and distract the little ones. So shopping is not miserable and you don't feel rushed. Whenever I go I feel like I got what I came for. read more

This place needs some competition. If I could go anywhere else to buy uniforms, I would, but this is where the school sends me. Went in a week ago, place is packed and two kids were playing unsupervised by the giant Connect 4. They were playing "throw the plastic disc at me and see if you can hit me". They missed each other and hit me. I asked them if they could not throw those around because other people could get hurt and got a "I don't care" response back and continued throwing the discs and hit someone else. I went to get a store employee as I was still waiting for help on finding what I needed. When I told the employee that I needed help and that the kids were hitting people with the discs, she responds in an annoyed tone that she was busy and if I could wait. I firmly told her that no, it cannot wait as I was not going to risk my toddler getting hit too. She runs over to the kids and yells at them that if they can't behave, then they have to wait for their mother in the back room and she leaves in a huff. Finally got a hold of another employee who said that they were all out of the size polos that I needed, she said that they get shipments every day and couldn't get to opening the boxes that were scattered around the floor. Luckily, my mom was with me and she found what I needed. But could we leave in a hurry? Nooooo. Only two registers and the check-out process is sloooooow as you have to set up an account with them, order any items online that they didn't have in stock, send the polos out to embroider them with the school logo, again, because they don't have any in stock.
