Hubby had just suffered a (minor) loss at a roulette table so I took him to the nearby bar to buy him a drink. Our bartender was friendly and sympathetic toward Hubby's roulette loss. She made us a cocktail that caught our attention, Smoke N Mirrors made with tequila, mezcal, orgeat, and lime juice. This was the kind of drink that made us say "wow" upon first sips. It has a bit of smoky flavor, a hint of sweetness, and a perfect balance of citrus. If I'm gonna pay $16 for a drink, I was glad that this was worth it. https://bit.ly/44dyyU7 This Palms casino bar is pretty central. The DJ was playing awesome music from the 80s and we had such a great time, we ended up hanging out here longer than we anticipated. Great for people-watching!

If you look carefully in this picture, you will see the shark head portion of the shark behind the bar. Great stop before dinner and a show.

You know how when you go to some casinos you find yourself gravitating to certain places over and over..? That seems to be me at the Unknown every time I come to the Palms. Maybe it's the big dissected Tiger shark above the bar or just it it's location but either way last night after Scotch 80 prime we ended up here for a night cap. Once again we had a nice round of drinks with good service with simple but effective ambience. Im sure I'll find myself sitting here again upon my next visit.

I loved this bar. Everyone in the building, including the performers at the event we were at, called it "The Shark Bar". But I now see that it is actually called Unknown. So our destination was Unknown on this particular evening. :D The decor and design of the oval-shaped bar and space are beautiful. Colored dots and lots of use of white, give it an art gallery feel. And of course, the shark which is in three sections above the bar is the centerpiece of the room, which is shocking. It's in preservative fluid and it is a real shark. That is unique. And unusual. And probably a bummer for the shark. The bartenders are on their game and make excellent drinks. There is no food here. There was a DJ the night we were here, and I believe there is live music on certain evenings. If I had any negatives, the service through the overworked servers was slow. We never got service, despite being promised "I'll be right with you". Going to the bar seemed to be the better move, although even that was a long wait. I chalk that up to the overload of people here. When it's busy, the dynamics of trying to walk around the bar, find a seat, or even get out of the way make all three of those goals impossible. They could use a little more space, or moving the furniture out of the way of transit. I would definitely come back here again.

This bar is located inside the Palms in the center of the casino floor. On Saturday night this place was playing all the 2000 jams. I loved it! There is seating at the bar as well as table tops with sofas and chairs. This place is very nice and has a great vibe if you're looking for a cocktail and good music.

I've passed this bar a few times before, always loved how beautiful it is. Located at the heart of Palms Resort Casino, I came here on a Tuesday evening. It was not busy, a chill evening with live music. They played some really great music with live singing. The waitresses and bartenders were attentive, greeted me upon arrival and offered a menu right away. The first drink I ordered was the Sapphire Drop, recommended by the bartender, it was good, a bit sweet for me. The 2nd drink I tried was the butterfly effect, loved the lavender color and the taste was just right. I liked the butterfly effect more than Sapphire drop.

    Butterfly Effect cocktail - $16, I believe.

This is a pretty standard casino center bar. Our waitress/hostess was absolutely lovely and super attentive. We opted for a table on a Sunday evening after dinner and were able to get in easily with no wait, and open tables all around us, but you can also sit at the bar. I decided to get the Butterfly Effect cocktail, which is really just a gin & (elderflower) tonic with a squeeze of lime. I like gin, but found this to be a little bitter for my liking. Also, it's a very simple drink, but it still took about 12-15 minutes to get it after ordering. Others in my party ordered the Rose Germain and an Old Fashioned. The Rose Germain was delicious, but they use a big beautiful orchid as a garnish. It looks great, but smelled terrible! The Old Fashioned tasted good, but they made it with crushed ice so it waters down faster than it should. I believe each drink was about $16. Overall, this is a pretty standard center bar experience, but great for people watching or a lowkey place to hang out inside a beautiful casino.

Came here to celebrate after my friend's wedding while we waited for our table at A.Y.C.E. Buffet at the Palms. The seating area was elegant, sleek, and grand with white tables and chairs around the bar. I ordered a Mai Tai cocktail and I have to say the bartender named Oliver is amazing! He was kind, attentive, and he made our drinks so well! It was balanced, sweet, and refreshing. And for a reasonable price it was $13. I recommend coming here and asking for him specifically, he knows how to make drinks! 5/5 stars perfect cocktails!

Service here was great and so was the drink I ordered. I normally don't drink alcohol so I was not sure what I wanted when I came here. I know that some bars do not have menus as they expect the customers to know what they want. With this bar, I did ask for a menu and the drinks were priced at $16. I ordered the Sapphire Drop and it was pretty delicious as I do like sweet alcoholic drinks. I will definitely come back here again sometime in the future :)

So this is a really cool bar. You can't really miss it because there's a huge shark in the middle of the bar setting itself. As soon as you come into the palms hotel this is what you're going to see. They have TVs around and plenty of seats. The bartender was super friendly and nice, nothing wrong with the service so far. The drinks are not super eccentric but they have a lot of things that you wouldn't necessarily expect go together. I tried the pomegranate whiskey drink because that's the only whiskey drink that they had. During happy hour they have a special to where you get half off of the specialty drinks and half off of the wine, or it's $8 or so. So it's worth coming to just to pass by if you're already in the casino.

Pre-movie tank fill at The Palms. Nursed the $18 Buffalo Stampede until showtime. Though the liquid did not reach even the midway point of the Palms-branded cube, the cocktail was strong, and the spiced sugar lent a delicious contrast. Atmosphere: Lots of white marble, cream and gold, punctuated by the multicolored dipping dots on the walls. Centrally located in the casino, low walled, music from the floor. TVs were imbedded into the pillars, a good non-intrusive way to maintain the sleek lines of the bar. Then, of course, the eponymous segmented shark over the bottle display; shades of Hannibal. Service: Male bartender all business; lady bartender more particular about detail.

Great bar with good cocktails and friendly service and bar tenders. Came to watch some football games and cocktails. Video poker games at front bar tables, nice relaxing atmosphere.

Get out of your mind drinks are ever going to be cheap at a Vegas hotel :) 1. Sat down at the bar on a Thur night. Not too busy. 2. Menu has a wide variety but i honed in on an old fashioned. $18 don't forget to tip! 3. Drink was made well by Stephanie. I forgot I am not a huge fan of sweet though so I should have asked for it without sugar, but hey it still went down just as smooth! 4. Ambiance at the time was pretty low key, I came in in chucks but it is Vegas, so almost anything goes. I said ALMOST people, put some clothes on . All in all good experience.

I mainly chose this bar to see the preserved shark in person since my husband loves sharks. We enjoyed the upscale feel of the bar and our cocktails. The bar is located in the middle of the casino floor. You'll find it behind the large area that is surrounded by a white curtain like material. The inside is meant to appeal to millennials with clean lines and white being the main design color. The bar area had plenty of seating. One side had gaming. In addition to the bar area there were tables all around the room too. The bar wasn't busy, but there were plenty of bartenders. This allowed us to be quickly greeted and served our drinks. My Old Fashioned was perfectly prepared and tasty. My husband's Dark and Stormy was nice and strong.

They had live music on Saturday nights that starts right at 10p. After we got our IDs checked, we walked in and were immediately overwhelmed. It was very loud, very busy, and looked like your typical dive bar, which was cool. There were no seats in the front of the bar, at the bar, or even the tables in the back. After ordering our pizza, we finally found seats to eat near the pool tables in the back. We ordered the Champagne & Reefer, which is their supreme pizza. We were hungry so this pizza hit the spot. To be completely honest, I think my friend and I did not enjoy this place because I think we were the youngest at this bar. Everyone around us seemed to be having a great time and we were happy for them. We were slightly overwhelmed and felt like we needed a bar menu. We ended up just skipping alcohol all together at this place. I might want to try this place again with a bigger group of people. I see that they have a beer list online so I'll definitely look at that the next time I stop in.

My family made the reservation to celebrate my birthday, so the evening already felt special before we even arrived. Las Vegas has so many beautiful and flashy restaurants, but Scotch 80 Prime had the perfect balance of elegance, comfort, and luxury. From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere felt beautiful. The white tablecloth, warm lighting, elegant glassware, and small birthday decorations on the table made everything feel thoughtful and special. It had that glamorous Las Vegas feeling, but in a very classy and polished way. It was perfect for a birthday dinner. We started with champagne, and it set the tone for the evening. It was served cold, with beautiful lively bubbles, and the first sip immediately made the dinner feel festive. For a special occasion, those little details matter so much. But the person who truly made this visit unforgettable was our waiter, MJ. MJ's manners were absolutely outstanding. His way of speaking was refined and elegant, and his service was polished, professional, and incredibly graceful. He was attentive without being overwhelming, and every detail felt effortless. There is a certain magic in his service -- everything he touched felt more luxurious, more comfortable, and more special. A great restaurant is not only about food. It is also about how the guest feels throughout the experience. MJ understands that perfectly. He made the entire dinner flow beautifully. He recommended a wine for us, and it was absolutely amazing. It paired so well with the food and made the whole birthday dinner feel even more elevated. Honestly, next time I visit Scotch 80 Prime Steakhouse, I would love to sit at MJ's table again. His service was that memorable. The food was excellent, but MJ's service made the night feel truly special. The food itself was also wonderful. The small wagyu bite with gold leaf was such a beautiful start to the meal. It was only one bite, but it was rich, elegant, and beautifully presented. It immediately made the dinner feel like a real celebration. The warm bread was also delicious. Soft, buttery, and comforting -- exactly what you want at the beginning of a steakhouse dinner. The seafood tower was impressive from the moment it arrived at the table. Lobster, shrimp, oysters, crab, and everything served over ice made the presentation feel fresh and luxurious. The lobster was meaty and delicious, and the shrimp and oysters made the meal feel even more special. It was the kind of dish that makes the table stop and take pictures before anyone starts eating. The steak was excellent as well. It had a beautiful sear on the outside and was tender and juicy inside. The flavor was rich, and every bite had that deep steakhouse satisfaction. The lobster on top of the steak made it feel even more luxurious. Steak and lobster together for a birthday dinner -- honestly, that is hard to beat. The fish dish was also very well prepared. It was nicely seared on the outside and moist inside, with a clean and elegant flavor. It gave a nice balance to the richness of the steak and seafood. And of course, the birthday dessert was beautiful. The candle, the chocolate "Happy Birthday" sign, the fruit, and the gold details made it feel so thoughtful. Seeing that dessert arrive at the table made the whole night feel complete. Scotch 80 Prime Steakhouse is a wonderful place for a special occasion. It is elegant, luxurious, and memorable without feeling too stiff. It is definitely a higher-end restaurant, but for a birthday, anniversary, or family celebration, it feels worth it. And I have to say it again -- MJ's service was truly exceptional. His refined manners, elegant communication, and thoughtful service made this birthday dinner unforgettable. Next time I am in Las Vegas, I would absolutely come back to Scotch 80 Prime. And if possible, I would definitely ask for MJ's table.
