I would give no stars if I could. Thursday Aug. 31st I called the store to get information about a live scan service for fingerprints. The automated message said the service is available mon-Fri until 4pm. It said to stay on the line if you had further questions so a waited to ask about fees and double check I didn't need an appointment. It rang at least 20xs then someone picked up and immediately hung up. I decided to just go there so Friday, I live almost 30 minutes from the store so I arrived about 2:10, there was a bright orange note on the door that said sorry notary not available Fridays. I checked for any signs regarding live scans because there was at least 10 people in line and I didn't want to wait if the service was not available. I finally got to the front and the girl told me they were short staffed so they stopped doing them for today but I could come back tomorrow! I was livid because "why no sign" and wasted time! I left and called the Victorville location and explained the situation. She assured me regardless of how busy they were the service would be available til 3:30. Because of traffic and the time wasted at the other location plus standing in another extremely long line it was 3:25 when it was finally my turn. The girl was so friendly and helpful and I apologized for coming so close to deadline but she assured me there wasn't an issue and helped me get my service completed. She also said she didn't think the other location was supposed to refuse the service. I decided to email the store in case their employees are doing things they aren't supposed to. Well, today I got a response that said sorry for the miss understanding because of staffing issues (or something along those lines) we are doing the live scans from such and such time to 1:00pm and from 3-4pm and we have a sign on the door. Which was a flat out lie! They may have a sign now but they didn't yesterday because, again I thoroughly checked. Also if that was the case why was I told they were done for the day and to come back tomorrow and not between 3-4!? Also when she told me to come back "tomorrow" if they aren't doing the scans between 1-3 why wasn't I told? What if I had returned today between 1-3? Would I have been turned away again! Don't waste your time going here. I will definitely be checking to make sure the same owners aren't for the Victorville location because even though they did amazing, I will not give my business to people who lie and don't take customer service seriously. read more

This location has such wonderful assistance. I needed to get my mail certified to send to the IRS. He explained how I can track it and knew my total before the transaction was complete. I was very pleased with the customer service! read more

Avoid at all costs. I went here to ship ebay items, even though I knew they'd be more expensive than the post office as my post office was closed. I asked for the cheapest shipping, and once I paid I was given a receipt with no tracking number. After telling the clerk that I needed tracking, he told me that'd be another 10 dollars on top of the 11(would have been 5 with a tracking number included at usps). Once I said I'll just have to pass and ship it usps, he told me he can't refund my money but "I can take the postage back", which is what he did. So I was left with -11 dollars and no postage. I went ahead and filed a claim with my bank and I'll just cross my fingers and hope nobody wastes their time with this useless, incompetent store. I used this Apple Valley location to ship all of my sons possessions to Pittsburgh, PA. My 17 year old son earned an athletic scholarship to the University of Pittsburgh. The week of August 12th I paid $300 to ship 4 packages two of which were very large. The clerk refused to let me add insurance to the packages because the packages were not ups packages. That's the first time I ever heard that. Upon arrival the UPS store in Pittsburgh clerk at the front desk told me that there were only 3 packages for me. One of the biggest packages with (over $4,000 worth of items) all of my son's possessions inside was missing. The package that had my son's custom nike's, coats, jackets, jeans, nike sweat suits, several pairs of jeans...his entire life did not arrive. He is now a 17 year old minor sitting in a dorm room thousands of miles away from home, with a handful of underwear, a couple of t-shirts and a couple of sweat pants. Conveniently the identical package with bedding and a few other items arrived with a huge hole in the side. Large enough for someone to reach their hands inside and feel around for things. I called UPS and asked to speak with a customer service manager. He told me that the package was lost. He said that the package arrived at the New Stanton, PA HUB but never left and he told me that it was not a good sign. He said "more than likely the package would not be recovered." I would have to put in a claim and it would take 10 days for UPS to investigate. He also told me to make a list of items that were in the package. I opened a claim waited the 10 day protocol. I went back to my Apple Valley branch the week of September 9th. I spoke to the owner who to my surprise stated "I don't know who told you that you would be reimbursed, we never do that." She compared my sons things to a woman who shipped a quilt that was lost. "Unbelievable!" She then asked me if I called the New Stanton, PA HUB and said that she would call them. Today is September 26th. I haven't heard back from the owner, I haven't been reimbursed for anything including my shipping costs and my 17 year old son is a freshman in college with just about all of his things gone because of UPS. Pittsburgh is extremely cold and all of his coats were in that box. UPS is responsible for the stolen/lost package. It never left the New Stanton, PA HUB. Does UPS expect me to replace all of his things? Horrible customer service. read more

I have been using this Facility since 2007. The staff is friendly and respectful. They are always willing to assist and almost always greet me with a smile and by name. There have been many great employees and Jalleena is one of the best customer service reps I have ever had the pleaser to work with. read more

Apparently they provide the service of fingerprint rolling on cards, but they don't have the forms there to do the fingerprints on. They said, you can go online and download the form (it's a universal form) but they don't have a computer there that you can use to do it. read more

Came in to fax 2 pages. The guy did not acknowledge me whatsoever and the people in front of me were doing a notary. I could have filled out the cover page while waiting but there was none offered. When it was my turn he just said "I just fax" and I mentioned I needed a cover page but he said "no need" so he proceeded and started helping the customers behind me. Very unprofessional and unfriendly. I then told him that I needed a cover page. Finally he gave me one to fill out and he said he will fax again. So I ended up waiting for the second time. The staff here is so rude. They treat you like shit here. Even worse, they won't give you UPS padded envelopes, even if you have your own label for UPS air service. Nope, they want to charge you. Yes - charge you for envelopes UPS will send you for free. The store manager is the rudest of all. I bet that a bouquet of flowers, money or booze wouldn't even be enough to bribe this woman into at least PRETENDING to be nice. Save your time - go to the Post Awful - the people there aren't intelligent and slower than a Bank of America teller, but at least they're nice to you and don't charge you for FREE envelopes. I have to get a live scan done for work and the only place I could get ahold that does it cause was the UPS store in Apple valley. I called yesterday and was told they do it 8-6, so I drove 25 minutes over there and got there at 4 and the lady told me they only do it 8-3 Mon-Fri. So I woke up today, drove over again and got there at 8:30. Was told today they only do it 10-3. They don't have any hours posted specifically for this, and all of the employees are obviously not on the same page. I don't want to be a Karen but I also didn't know it would be this hard for me to get a live scan. read more

The employee was very kind. I was overnighting a package to my 85 year old mother who had accidentally left her medication while on vacation. The total was 74.00 to have it arrive by 3pm. It is now 8 and she won't get the package until Monday. I called the UPS store and she was very helpful giving me the number to call. She told me to tell them it was urgent and to speak to a supervisor. I called the customer service and each time was told it would be delivered by Monday, then it was on time, then Monday again. When I called the UPS store they were very helpful, I can't say much for UPS delivery. I am planning on filing a claim for reimbursement. Next time I will use the post office for overnight delivery. read more

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Worst ups store I've ever been to. Super rude with NO CUSTOMER SERVICE skills. The kid who works there seems to have no common sense at all and has no problem solving skills, and the big old lady with black hair that works there just wants to fight. I have been a customer at this store for a couple of years now, I have a business PO box in the store. I noticed a couple months ago that it seemed like my mail was becoming less and less and the staff is less interested in doing their job (sorting the mail) then ever before. For example, it used to only take 1 hour to sort the mail after the noon delivery, now im lucky if its done before 5. Well I recently had several packages delivered to the PO Box with tracking numbers, all the tracking numbers say my packages have been delivered and were accepted by Rose, for days now. I have come in and asked everyday and I keep being told the same thing, that my packages have not arrived. This is very frustrating. Has anyone else had this issue? Can they legally refuse to give me my mail? read more

I mailed a document with tracking from this location via USPS. The document was lost by USPS for 19 days. The owner of this UPS Store location contacted me via telephone and followed up on the lost package until it was located. The owner of this UPS Store location is an honest person and was polite and helpful. I would definitely patronize this business in the future. A+++ read more

Home of the rudest UPS employee I have found. Watches you walk in and then goes to the back and talks to other employees while you wait in front looking at them! No hello, no "can I help you". This store gets an absolute zero. My daughter shipped a 2 pound package for me to NY. Three weeks before Christmas. They said that they could not guarantee delivery by Christmas. Scared she went ahead and paid $50 to get it there before Christmas. I will be using the United States Postal service from now on. They are the ones that could use the money. read more

The local delivery service is absolutely the worst!! Twice they lied about how the driver delivered items. The first time, the driver lied when he reported he had dropped the item off our front door. He dropped it off at our back gate and it sat outside for 3 days before we knew it was even there. The second time, he dropped it off by a major road outside the fence in the backyard. This driver said he dropped off the item at a "carport". We don't have a car port. We never received the item. When I called UPS, they wouldn't connect me to the local facility or initiate an investigation. DON'T USE UPS!!!! read more

Ok so came here at 8 am today (Thursday) for a live scan. I was told by the older gentleman that they don't do it until 10. We decided to go to Target to kill a ton of time and got back here at 10 on the dot. The older gentleman who told me that the live scans aren't done until 10, doesn't greet us nor the young lady, and proceeds to do my scan. . Really? Couldn't of done it when it was just barely opened and only one customer in here? So here we are waiting for what should have been done in 10 mins to pay 13 dollars more because the place on I street is closed due to the fires. Not friendly here. ON THE PLUS SIDE..... There was an elderly gentleman that walked over there with his walker. The lady was upset and told her coworker she was going to drive him home due to his age and heat. I was really pleased about her thoughtfulness. AND....... After I was finished with my fingerprints, the older gentleman who told us the time to do the scans said thank you for coming back. I appreciated that. So really my only qualm is customer service skills and again why couldn't the scan be done at 8 when no one was there?. To their defense though, the guy at the I street location was a bit rude on the phone before the fire had started. You want a good place to do your scans then I would suggest the sheriff dept in Adelanto. read more

I will start by saying that I would like to thank this store for their help. On the evening of Tuesday, Nov 12th, I ran over to the Hwy 18 store because important paperwork with a deadline did not make it to Sacramento. My husband thought he had lost the tracking number and we thought that they could look up our transaction to at least see when we sent it out. The blonde that I have dealt with before, and appears to be rather new, looked straight over to the other blonde who appeared to know more of what could be done. She immediately stated that there was nothing they could do in a rude tone. My husband then specifically asked her if there was a way they could look it up at all. Again, she rudely stated that they could not look it up without the tracking. I then called this store to see if something could be done. I spoke to a young gentleman (I wish I had gotten his name) who immediately had someone look into their system to see what could be found. He then asked me if we had it sent out from there. I explained the situation and that the woman at the other store was rude. He immediately apologized and said that I would have to go back to that store and gave me the customer service number. I then called back because it was a usps item and he told me I had to call the postal service and hoped I was able to resolve it. All the while doing exactly what the woman at the other store should have done. I just want to show appreciation for attempting to do everything within reason to help. read more
