My UPS package is 2 days late, and when I called the store, the two staff members had no information as to when/where my package (required for work) would be delivered. Robbi and Jayla took excellent care of me when my printer at work kinked out and I needed 4 documents printed, and one notarized! You can reserve a notary appointment online, but when I called I was told it was also ok if I wanted to come over right away. Robbi was able to print the docs directly from my computer by air dropping the files, thank you!! I have used the services of this UPS Store quite frequently in the past 3 years and I was very happy with the service. The young people who worked there were super friendly and helpful. About a year ago, within a short period of time, everyone who worked there was gone, in addition the use of the computer time was changed to an auto-charge system. --- The all new sales team is not as friendly or knowledgeable but still satisfactory. The new auto pay system is not at all customer friendly, but truly ripping you off! No money back if their equipment like the printer is not working! I had to come back at a time when the owner was in, to possibly get my refund. So I did, and - oh my god - did he give me a hard time!!! Well, in the end he did refund my $ 4.06, but all I had to go through to get to this point... I call that TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!! read more

I recently used this UPS location to ship a package. I was told the package would be delivered the next day, however it took seven days before the packaged arrived at its destination, which was only about 130 miles away. I could have walked and delivered the package faster. The reason for the delay is that the package was put on the wrong truck and went to Texas before returning to California to be delivered. When I talked to UPS about receiving a partial refund, they said nothing can be done as the delivery was not guaranteed. So apparently if you don't pay for guaranteed air shipment, UPS is under no obligation to deliver your package in a timely manner. read more

I had a package shipped here because I thought it would of been safer than leaving it on my front porch, I received an email that My package has been picked up from the UPS store, however I did not pick up the package. When I called UPS the woman I spoke to could not tell me who picked up the package what time they pick up the package or any other identifying information about the person who clearly stole my package. I asked her if they keep a signature log and she said she has no way of seeing past packages, she was completely unhelpful and I would never trust my packages to come to this UPS store again. read more

I never take the time to write a yelp review but I need to after my experience yesterday on 3/2/2023 around 9:30am. I went to the UPS store on White lane to do a live scan and I was mortified by the experience that I had. During my live scan, the manager pulled an employee to the back and began yelling at her for being late to work. She proceeded to tell her that she was being written up and was speaking to her employee in the most unprofessional manner. Her voice projected through the entire facility and as a customer I felt very uncomfortable. The other manager that was doing my live scan apologized to me for the situation. I really hope that after this employee got a write up, the manager who was yelling also got a write up. A manager who values their employees and their job does not speak to their employees in such an unprofessional way, and does not make their customers feel uncomfortable by having to hear it. I really thought I was being pranked for a moment. Please do better. read more

Do not come here for notary services! Their whole staff is completely incompetent. We paid for notary services from the notary named Cristal Hauffen, and she wrote the wrong date and year on the paperwork. (Was supposed to be 10/2/2020, she wrote 10/1/2010- Literally only had one job!) we went back to get it fixed and was told by the staff unless we want to pay another $30 for the 2 signatures, we would need to come back when she's working. Came back today, like the employee advised and when they said she would be there and she wasn't there. The staff refused to give us the managers contact info and said we need to come back again another day when she would be there. It's been 10 days since we had the notary first signed on a time sensitive paperwork and they DO NOT care! read more

Well, I have moved out of bakersfield, but had started this review a while ago.... I had my box there for several years, and consistently all the staff were awesome. I was always greeted when walking in... and many times my packages would be on the counter when they saw me approach the door. If I ever got a package that special instructions (like perishable), they would give me a call to make sure i knew it was in. Highly recommend. Only drawback to their location, is that next door is a Fosters Donut... hard to resist at times ;) read more

I later had some questions and called the store- the guy who answered was helpful and able to answer my questions. My girlfriend sent some masks through the mail from here a few days ago. Her aunt has COPD So we are trying to keep her safe from the virus. Well, when the package arrived, 4 of the masks were missing. AT THIS LOCATION, MAKE SURE YOU SEE THEM SEAL YOIR PACKAGES!!! I contacted corporate with no reply yet. By far the worst UPS store I've been too. First, their sales people are incredibly rude -- and by "people", I mean one girl in particular, who always gives me an attitude and talks down to me every time I go in just to drop of my prepaid USPS packages. "Why don't you just take it to the post office? Why don't you just drive it to camino media, it's not that far?" Well why don't you just do your job properly and stop complaining about having to put a package in a box? On top of this, they charge an extra $1 for dropping off USPS packages over a certain pound. I'm no sure why they need to charge when they aren't doing any work on it, but I guess handing a package off to a guy in a truck is REALLY difficult these days. Skip this place and go to the UPS store on Panama -- same exact franchise, and they don't charge extra for dropping off packages and they don't have such rancid employees. read more

I had the unfortunate displeasure of having to pick up my UPS package here. When I entered the establishment I asked the employee that was standing by the copy machine i need to pick up a package, she completely ignored me. The next employee a guy rudely said are you picking up i replied yes when i tried to make an inquiry about said package i was ignored again. He acted as if i was an imposition to him as if he had something better to do. This business needs a serious makeover and attitude adjustment. I went on the website for this location and it listed passport photos available here and let me make an appointment. Being a mom of 4 kids, I was happy to see that not only did they offer passport photo service but that I could make an appointment because waiting with kids sucks. When I arrived I stated that I was there to get passport photos taken and that my appointment was at 1pm. The worker informed me that they don't do passport photos. I would have to go to another location. I showed him the confirmation page from the website and he very unapologetically said we don't offer that here. So I went to the other UPS Store location and they told me that there was something wrong with their machine and they couldn't do passport photos either. I had to come here to get a couple of copies. Upon my arrival, I saw three employees two young ladies and a young man. I waited a few minutes as they each stood behind the counter avoiding eye contact and discussing their personal lives. I was finally greeted by the young man who helped me with my copies and let me know they did do certified mail which was another service I was looking for. I let him know I wanted to utilize their certified mail service for the three letters I needed to have delivered. He quoted me $18 a piece. I told him I wasnt in a hurry for them to be delivered and then he quoted me $9, I said at that rate I would go to the post office. He them proceeded to tell me that they could have it delivered Monday with a $4 charge. Now, that should have been what he started with, but he didnt. He began to ring it up and I'm not sure, but it showed an old address for my return and I asked him to fix it, but he seemed irritated at my request. Now I rarely go in here and had he asked and not assumed I could have saved him the trouble of having to redo the labels. Finally after being there for 30 minutes my letters were all set. I am giving this a two star for a couple of reasons. What should have been simple tasks seemed to be a huge undertaking for the employee that actually acknowledged me and helped me and I am disgusted that I was ignored and these individuals continued to chit chat about their personal lives.... which newsflash I dont give a rat's rip about. How times have changed -had that been me in my early 20's I would have been written up or worse fired. read more
