This place SUCKS and they try to rip you off. I had a box properly labeled which was a Brother Drum unit for my printer. They did not LIKE THE BOX, because it had brother's name on box. Are you kidding me!! So I said I had the empty brown cardboard box that my return package box came in, in my car. I got it and they asked if I had tape to tape the box I retrieved from my car because they did not like the Brother's name on my box with the return lable. They refused to put one piece of tape in my box and told me I had to buy a roll of tape for 8.99. I walked out and the gal at the counter thanked me. For what, for deciding NEVER TO USE THIS UPS STORE AGAIN. No one should use them / they are not polite nor helpful. So I went around the block to Super Postal Center at 160 W Camino and they happily took my box which was the Brother's drum box I originally asked the UPS store to ship. No problem! Yesterday I went to this UPS store to return some Amazon packages, one of them was a box of diapers that was sealed, the person at the front desk opened it, I didn't know with what intention... then he told me that to return it it had to be sealed with tape that you don't have, that if I wanted to deliver it I had to buy my own tape (which cost almost $9) and seal it myself, I did it because I couldn't return and the box was heavy to handle. Later I realized that this reaction was after she heard her speaking Spanish to my daughter. Is it racism or is this the way this store scams customers? read more

The biggest a-hole works in this place. He called me an idiot. He patronized me. He lied to me that they don't scan bar-codes and they don't print labels - you are in the shipping business and should have basic training. Bc I started working in the area about 3 months ago and thus going to this UPS consistently bc it was close. The gentleman that's always there in the blue polo with the ginger-colored hair is awesome! He greets every customer with a chipper, friendly, and energetic welcome as soon as they walk in, regardless of the time of day (even when I rush in 15 mins before they close!) in my many visits to this store, the attendee has been nothing but helpful, respectful, and just all around positive vibes! I had been at their conference in Boca Raton. I needed to ship my banner home and needed a box because the staff at the hotel threw away my box. The attendee at the store was fantastic. Gave me my box and allowed me to trim the box to the size I needed so I could drop it off and get it shipped. Great customer service. I paid on December 12, 2022 for a box and bubble warp $40.00 for a Christmas gift the really fat guy took the items and shipped it but I left store when he packaged and broke item and put broken items on the top of the bubble warp. When I called credit card they reversed charges and and now on 1-27-2023 they re-charged me. I cannot get a hold of anyone in store. Filing a claim again with the damaged pictures. A man with spiky hair and glass was in there trying to help me send off packages. I was shopping for the best deal for shipment for presents. Going back home. He gave me a price and I thought it was astronomical and I told him is that the best they could do. I don't need it there until Christmas and we are pretty early. He said yes and of course I said well. I'll just go back to where I was gonna go. He had the audacity to tell me all shipping companies are losing packages except for us and I told him that was highly unacceptable and unprofessional, and I'll never return as I've been in that store several different times to ship items. Terrible service and attitude by the owner. The owner looks for anything on an Amazon return to try to charge you extra. I needed a 4 inch piece of tape and he refused. He made up a story about Amazon policy and liability blah blah. He just wanted me to buy a whole roll of tape or drive home and put it on myself. I have seen him do this to other customers in the past as well. I left and went to the next ups store down the road and they took the package and added the tape with a smile. The gentleman there most of the time - and I'm negligent for not knowing his name - is pleasant and responsive. Always greets you with a good morning or afternoon. Gives you a receipt for drop offs. Absolute worst UPS experience. It looks like someone erased my review from my previous incident with them. Someone must have hacked their computer system. to bypass my apartment, because every UPS package bypasses my physical address and goes to their Boca UPS store a couple of miles from me. No matter how many people at UPS you speak to, they cannot override their system and get a package shipped to your home in the middle of a pandemic. Petco even spoke to heir customer service as they were sending another package to replace the first package I couldn't pick up, and that package was sent to that Boca store as well...never to be seen again. I am unable to make changes in their system, and it takes 5-7 business days to close a UPS My Choice account, so I am stuck if a other package arrives to be via UPS. Over priced 3 times- compared to the store near me in coconut creek and it took longer for my package to be sent out. I am still waiting for a package to arrive I sent early last week. HORRIBLE/ HORRIBLE! DO NOT GO HERE. I took a warranty deed to get notarized. I walked in at 6:11 pm on 3/23/18. I asked the man behind the counter that f he had a Notary- he said he was. I showed him documents which was only 3 which required a witness. I asked him how much? He said to give him a minute as he read thru the document- not complicated. He proceeded to ask me to sign and my husband to sign . There were two people shopping in store and I asked them to be my witness to which they agreed. I asked him to tell me how much for the documents- he told me $180.00. I ARGUED THAT THIS WAS A TOTAL RIP OFF- he said," that's what it is!!!!" He charged me twenty dollars to use a witness I found, I called 4 other UPS stores and they told me ten dollars per stamp which should only have been $20.00-Don't go here!!!! Joey is his name! He stamped two unnecessary stamps by things he did not need to - perhaps so he could charge me more,? As I am writing this my husband Called "Joey" and told him that we were calling the police and then onto civil court- he refunded us our money with Venom in his mouth. He did two unnecessary signatures also- maybe reporting him to the Ntl Notary Assn will also make him think before he rips off anyone else. Shame on you Joey - I will never use your store again and neither will anyone I know- you need to disclose your fees when asked- not ask people to sign and say some outrageous figure. I went to this store in boca Raton and they wanted to charge me 42$ for a regular box that fit 2 outside speaker Bose , 5 pound total. Not even the shipping since was already paid by Bose... Do not use this location. I've been faxing the same 6 sheets for work at several UPS Store locations for almost a year- This one included. The cost has never exceeded $7.00. The man working this particular day charged me over $13 and insisted that the 954 area code made the transaction long distance ( "It's not in Boca." he said.) The added fact that he was not friendly and insinuated that I was clueless with his attitude makes the idea that I feel ripped off even worse.
