Since I don't live in Florida, I had no idea where to look for the best place to trust with shipping something to myself in Chicago. I turned to Yelp and saw that Mr Shipper Delray had great ratings-and now I know why. When my family sold a condo in Delray Beach, there was a piece of art I knew I wanted to send to Chicago, so I was finally able to do so this weekend. It is a very long, narrow, and heavy sign, so I knew it wouldn't be cheap- and figured I'd give the business to someone local instead of the FedEx or ups store. Im so glad I did! Me shipper was so helpful, and had me stay in the shop until he was sure he could properly care for and ship my artwork. While it wasn't cheap, it was so worth it to know it would be well taken care of. My package arrived a few days later packed perfectly!! I will absolutely recommend others use him if you're in the Delray Beach area and need to send anything at all. read more

Came to return U-Haul equipment and U-Haul messed up my reservation twice. The clerk/owner told me there would be a charge for the missing dolly. I informed him that U-HAUL put a note that the dolly was never included, and said I would call them and immediately got on the phone. He waved me off and said, well they can give you a refund and printed a receipt saying he already charged me for it. Literally. Could not wait 5. Seconds. Horrible customer service, mind you, had he READ the screen in front of him he would have known NOT to charge me for it. I was charged more than twice what it would have cost me at the Post Office. The employee who handled my transaction was obviously not properly trained. Apparently, I was incorrect in my expectation that this store was an agent for the United States Postal Service, whose charges for mailing would have been the same is what we would pay at a real Post Office. In another store of his type I was always charged the customary fees that I would have paid at a Post Office. I paid $20 for a mailing that would have cost less than half at a Post Office. This small storefront company is in the Kings Point shopping center on Atlantic Ave. in Delray Beach. They provide UPS services, and other kinds of shipping. The elderly man who waited on me was rude, and obnoxious. I was unable to carry something heavy, due to my handicap, and asked if he could carry it from handicapped spot in front of store where I was parked. He did it reluctantly (weighed 10 pounds), and said "he typically gets extra for doing this". He then told me to come into the store if I wanted a receipt. I had to go back in again. As I was leaving, a young, attractive gal arrived, and he was super friendly to her. He treated me obnoxiously. I will never go back there. read more

I went into this franchise to purchase a book of stamps that should cost $13.20. They charged me $20.00 telling me that this is a convenient store and not the post office. I understand that but $20 is outrageous! they are taking advantage of the people that cannot get to the post office. These people are probably on a budget to begin with. All I can say is stay away from this place to save yourself lots of aggravation. I brought them 2 iron statues to ship to NY and explained that they were very important to me and wanted to make sure that they were packed properly to avoid damage in shipping. The man in the store Bruce was extremely rude, but he assured me that he would use lots of packing materials and wrap the statues for protection. I spoke to him again a few days later to review the costs and reiterate the need to pack them properly (I was charged an additional $60 for boxes and packing materials). When the boxes arrived in NY, they were crushed and I could feel the statues and bases shaking around in the boxes. I opened the boxes to find that they were simply placed in the box with the minimal bubble wrap I used to transport the statues to the store, and no additional packing was used. The statues were ruined - an arm had broken off one of them, both wooden bases were crushed, they where broken off the bases, and both statues were badly scratched. I spoke to the owner Surya who apologized and said he would file an insurance claim with UPS. When I finally reached him again after he ignored several calls, I learned that he kept the insurance proceeds to cover the cost of the shipping (and packing) and I would receive nothing, despite they fact that I took additional insurance for the shipment. Trust me- Mr. Shipper is not a reputable company. You will be sorry if you work with them. read more

I had to rent a truck for moving some building materials. I looked at the orange truck locations and reviews and was very surprised at how bad they were. I contacted Rigardo at Mr. Shipper, a Penske location. I cannot say enough good things about the check in and return process, the condition of the truck, and the efficiency of his staff. Do not go here for fingerprints! Mr. Shipper will not even provide a partial refund for the services he says he provided. The employer that needed fingerprints for their employees could not use the fingerprints he took for hundreds of families. I called him and he stated that "500 families" came to him with no complaints. However, the employer that needed the background check for their summer camp was left scrambling to do the fingerprints on their own days before camp started. If Mr. Shipper charged around $86 and 500 families went to him, as he stated, you can do the math and clearly see how much money was made by him. I called him and tried to work out a refund but he was extremely rude. He yelled, spoke over me, and told me I was in the wrong and should ask the employer for the money back. I have never been treated like this as a consumer. However, when I look at his reviews he always responds the same way which is he never takes fault or apologizes. I hate to give bad reviews but I am disappointed in how this turned out. I had a fragile picture that I  shipped back to PA. When it arrived at my home in PA, it was very well wrapped in bubble paper and then packed in peanuts. Unfortunately, the 3-D picture also had flecks of foam on the black matte.  I paid what I though was a high price to get it home safely but I was willing to pay that amount as long as it arrived in the same condition as it was in when I gave it to Mr. Shipper. There is no doubt that the picture was wrapped very well. Having said that, I paid 120$ to get the picture to my house in that same condition that I brought it in. That did not occur. I now have to incur a further expense because the picture was not delievered as expected.  I don't know where the problem occured but it needs to be fixed and that would be an additional 95$ per the framers estimate. When I pay 120$ for something to be shipped and recieved the way it originally was, I certainly don't expect have to pay an additional 95$. Mr. Shipper has chosen to disregard this issue and will not pay for or share the cost of getting it fixed. I expected better. read more

Let me start by expressing my gratitude to Rodrigo and his staff for not only their professionalism but their careful, loving, and diligent commitment to ensuring my grandmother's belongings made it safely to New York in the middle of a pandemic and in record time. This pandemic has brought many challenges to my family- including the loss of our grandmother who lived in Florida while the rest of the family lives out of state (New York and California). Living in Florida since the early 90s, our grandmother's home was filled with family heirlooms, memories, and irreplaceable belongings that our family wanted to keep. Unsure of how we could effectively and safely transport her belongings out of state, we felt ill equipped to do it ourselves. We searched for a company who could potentially just come into her home and pack her things so that they could survive the United Stages Postal Service. We found Mr. Shipper who not only packed each and every item we requested. Rodrigo spent the time to FaceTime us while he was in the apartment making sure that each and every item we wanted was set to be shipped. He followed up with text messages and phone calls. He coordinated scheduling with family friends to ease a smooth transition. He provided pictures and moving updates. He even was able to pack her belongings AND personally put them on one of his trucks so that her things were delivered right to my father's house!!! He wanted to eliminate any additional issues with transport and provided the most cost effective option for our family. From start to finish, we felt soo taken care of. She got quotes, and revised them with the shipper companies when my shipping list changed. I went to Mr. Shipper after reading all the great reviews. Know what? They were all true! The people at the Delray store were so accommodating and reassuring. I was selling my parents home and picking the few items I wanted to ship back. This was an emotional time for me but the lovely people at Mr. Shipper knew just what to do to make me feel like this was one thing I could trust would be handled professionally and carefully. Not only did they pack up family heirlooms, they did it with care, for a fair price. But there is no real price for peace of mind and that's what they offered. I live in NYC. My mom passed away a few weeks ago & I went to Florida to organize her belongings to be shipped to me. After considering a half-dozen competitively priced packer/shippers in her area (Delray Beach) whom I found online, I chose Mr. Shipper, and I'm glad I did. Mr. Patel, Mr. Shipper himself, did all the packing, and he sure knows how to pack! Some items were packed right there in mom's apartment; others he brought to his store to utilize additional packing materials. I received all boxes (which I had sent UPS) in a few days, and while UNpacking I saw what a superb job Mr. Patel did. Not one item was broken, everything was packed so well. You know those Russian dolls, where you take the head off and there's another doll inside, another doll inside that one, and so forth? That's how Mr. Patel packed the breakables: boxes inside of boxes, with plenty of styrofoam popcorn and bubble wrap. Packing perfection! I highly recommend Mr. Shipper Delray Beach. read more

Mr. Shipper is the absolute best! We were clearing out my Mother's condo after she passed away, packing items up to ship and realized that we desperately needed help! Mr. Shipper saved us! We were under a tight timetable and he came over immediately, assessed the situation, picked up the items, and packed/shipped with such care to multiple locations that they all arrived earlier than expected and safely.
