I have been to this location a few times as I have a project near by. The UPS store is an office away from the office to us. We go to get blue prints and documents printed out as well as many other services. All the staff at this location is very helpful and kind. A young lady named Ledy really takes her job serious. My Husband and I use this UPS location for shipping frequently. Every time we are in the staff is very personable, friendly, and helpful. My father passed away recently and I needed an enlarged poster board picture of him for the memorial. Shruti answered all my questions and helped me decide what the layout should look like, sent me a proof within an hour, and had it ready for me the next day. She showed empathy and kindness to me when I needed it the most and I am very appreciative of her professionalism and the way she connected to me as a human being and not just a customer. The Indian lady is extremely rude. That's how they lose customers. I was dropping off a small package with prepaid Amazon shipping that I could drop off at any UPS boxes. She said you know there's a line there. I have obviously seen the line. I said my package was ready to go and I didn't need help so I was just leaving the package. Not a false review. I posted everywhere so all would know how bad this company is! I want everyone to know about this experience so whoever commented from the store below saying this is false is totally wrong. I did that on purpose because the company is awful! If I could give them a negative rating I would!!! I am sitting here in tears from frustration. I had to overnight my car keys to my boyfriend so he could use the car to drive up from SD to the Bay for a 10am delivery, it cost $110. A simple task, you'd think?. They keys didn't show up. My boyfriend and I are on a farm with no house. So he waited outside all day in the rain for the truck to come so he could sign for the package. We kept calling and calling asking about updates and finally were told they'd be there by 8pm. Nothing at 8pm and we are both pissed. We call (we had to force someone to transfer us to their shipping center) and they say they were lost, maybe put on the wrong truck-why couldn't they have found out earlier in the day it didn't make it onto the right truck?? My boyfriend had to find a car last minute, drive all night with 4 dogs + guys in a small car-they slept in a truck stop, in the car! Then began the "investigation" to find them, which could last up to ten days. We kept calling for updates and they say they could call when they had either found them or when the investigation had closed. So we waited a few more days before calling again and they said "oh, it's been closed, we couldn't find them"-they didn't call us saying it had been closed or that it was still lost, we had to. So then we have to start the claims process as getting my car keys back will require a car tow to the dealership, two keys to be cut, made, programmed + labor, and a new battery since it died sitting their for 3 weeks (about $1,000 in total). People say they can't help us and keep transferring us for days, saying we will get called back but no one does. Many people said they'd pay for it and I finally reached a nice lady in the investigations department, Katherine, who said she could help me. She gave me her email and I set in my first invoice, saying more would be coming next week (this week). I call today to send in more invoices, but suddenly no one can transfer me to that department like the number/extension magically disappeared from their phonebooks. LIKE MAGIC. The one person who was willing to help me, I can't reach. So I'm transferred to the billing department where I tell her the whole story again and they say the same thing "the claim has been processed and will be in the mail" but that claim is just for the shipping! I tell them that I have invoices to submit, that I want to talk to Katherine, no one can get me to that one person. I ask if Katherine had inputted the original invoice I sent....she hadn't.....no one will help you. Then I get on with a supervisor who really pisses me off! Saying I need to contact the store I sent it from--they can't do anything! They've done their part, submitted all their information! It's on the company now, don't try and send me back to the store where they won't be able to help because trust me, I had to call the store multiple times! Oh by the way, at the store I shipped it from they told me: yeah I have no idea what they're doing over there (referring to the company) because I am just as lost as you are" Wow Great job! Any-who..this supervisor was caddy and saying "I'm not trying to upset you, but we won't cover for any of those damages you've mentioned. It's in the fine print when you ship. We won't cover it". Wtf again! I say I have spoken to many people who said the company would cover it and she asks for the names and their phone numbers and I say"nobody gives you a f******* call back number because you guys don't want to help us! No one gives me any helpful information, but I was told it would be covered!" She keeps going, I'm not trying to upset you, blah blah blah and I'm like, "how are you trying to not upset me right now? You are telling me you wont pay for the $800-$1000 I have had to pay?! I basically went off about what a horrible company it was and that I needed to talk to her boss, whoever was above her because I didn't trust a single word that came out of her mouth. She said I would be called back within two days and I insisted to be called back within the hour since I don't trust any of the employees. I have more to the story, but this space isn't big enough for that so I need to cut it short LOL. I can say that This company does not want to help you because they suck so hard. No one ever calls you back, no one gives you their phone number, no one can help you! You spend hours of your day going in circles, being transferred to 6 different people explaining your story over again! Now I might have to pay the $800-$1000 out of pocket for this stupid f-ing S***.Fedex would refund me, Amazon would refund me, UPS does not value their customers and just wants to take take take. read more

It is really odd how many people pop in one time and list an awful review. I've had a box there for almost 3 years now, and never had an experience I would describe as "poor". On crazy days (this store does get super crazy sometimes) their service drops all the way down to pleasant. I have however seen some of the rudest and neediest people in the universe come in and expect them to drop everything to help them with things they should have already done. After I'd been there for about a year, Shrunti (sp?) even greets me by name when they're slow. I get business packages there every couple of weeks, occasionally sending them as well, and I trust all of the employees there to do their job with my packages, and will continue to well into the future. If more businesses were run like this one, I would buy fewer items online and continue to shop local brick and mortar stores! read more

Have had a mailbox at this location since I turned 18 and never had problems with anything. Reading people's reviews really makes me think that they may not know what goes into running one of these stores. People complain about lines and the time it takes to get things done, or things not being free. Look do you go to the post office when you are rushed and expect there to be no line? Do you expect to go anywhere and be able to use machinery and supplies for free? The reason this store has been in Burlingame since I was a child, is because they provide quality services and are reliable. I continue to come back because of the consistency. For the folks who are looking for cheap services go somewhere else then but don't expect the same quality from those places as you will get here. Alright, first things first. I typically never find myself writing reviews for mail companies and so forth but I will make the exception because the companies you least expect to have impactful reviews are ones involving mail, grocery stores, convenience stores, and so on. The important thing to note about that is all of these people that work at these smaller stores that serve us are also deserving of reviews and sharing the helpful tips and care they provide.
