Ordered many Amazon packages for a Celtic festival only to find out people did not dress up in Saint Patty's day type of attire so I needed to return most of the items before I went to the airport. I did fingerprinting here recently for a job--I had to do it twice, actually. I was surprised to see another reviewer complain that the people weren't friendly enough. I don't need someone to be my BFF at a place like this; I need competence, and this place has it in spades! No one was rude or unpleasant, by the way. They are just doing their job, and that's okay. Have had good luck with UPS store services in general in different cities. It's nice to actually expect that people know their stuff at a place of business, which is getting more and more rare these days. Was in the store to drop off a UPS package. Both self serve kiosks were in use. One of the workers asked if it was a drop off and I said yes. She refused to scan and give me a receipt. Told me I had to use self serve if I wanted a receipt. I was in the prior week and they accepted my package at the counter and gave me a receipt. When I told her that wasn't the policy in Folsom she told me to "go to Folsom" That is very rude and poor customer service. read more

Me and some buddies went in 5 mins before they closed and they took care of us and went above and beyond. They helped us find the right boxes to pack our supplies for the right price! Although it was closing time Maria and Stevie still helped us without rushing and made us feel important. They sold us what we needed and shipped our packages . I go at least once a week and it doesn't matter who is working, I always have a great experience. The issue I have is not with their shipping services. I've dropped off packages to be shipped by UPS before and have had no issues. I haven't had enough interaction with the employees to comment on that either. The issue is with the cost of printing a UPS return label. First, there should be the ability for the UPS store to scan the label from a phone and print a label. There isn't. So what is the cost to print that label (or print anything for that matter) on a sheet of white paper? $4. Four dollars! The franchisees (owners of each UPS Store location) set this price and maybe each location is different. But they'll say something about the cost of the computer equipment, etc. which is ridiculous. Here's the solution: FedEx Office "Print and Go". Upload your documents to their website or send an email to their specific email. Get a code in their email reply. Go to the FedEx Office (in EDH for me), punch in the code, and get your printouts for 18 cents/page for B&W (more for color). read more
