The people here have always been nice. I can't really complain about service although all or our shipment records were lost and our usually shipping addresses were gone. The thing that makes me give them 1 star is the price. I went onto the UPS website and was quoted $50 for a shipment, I went into the store and they wanted $128 to deliver a 16lb package in a week. I was at this location today to drop a package off. When I walked inside a Mexican lady towards the back yelled at me to step out, she said only 3-4 people allowed inside at one time. A man that was in front of me told the lady, your sign outside says 4 to 5 people allowed inside. She replied back, "well I am telling you 3 to 4". Very rude lady. She shouldn't be treating customers this way and if this is what she wanted inside, she should've changed the sign so it's not confusing to customers. Lately I've been doing more of my shopping online because of COVID-19. I've had quite a few items to return, and several trips to my local UPS store for return shipping. Belinda has been working at the front desk every time I've gone in over the last couple months. She is warm, friendly, and welcoming to every guest that walks in, and she always has a smile on her face (you can tell even though she's wearing a mask)! She has never made me feel like an inconvenience, always patient with my questions. She is thorough and thoughtful, and she always tries to help me ship my items at the lowest cost which I appreciate! She is great and has made the tedious process of returning items more manageable! Worst experience I ever had in trying to ship a package. I usually go to the UPS distribution outlet in Tempe since I have an account. Due to time constraints I went to this store and now wish I had gone to another store. The "kid" behind the counter was very sarcastic and expected me to know their operating systems and I was not familiar with how they operated. Very condescending with a "smart mouth." I dropped off a package to be returned. I asked for a tracking number and the man told me they just give you the receipt with a reference number since all devices being returned to ATT are shipped at one. Well they never shipped it or it is lost and I was charged $120 dollars. When I tried to ask them to locate it via the reference number I was told you can't do that. DO NOT USE this store! read more

If you care anything about the items you're trying to ship or receive you shouldn't use this UPS location. They lost a very expensive package of mine and offered NO HELP in tracking down the package or offering any sort of empathy for my situation. After going in to the location once and calling several times to see if there were any leads on the package. The person who I spoke to on the phone Josh had a major attitude problem from the minute this moron got on the phone. He ended up hanging up on me, definitely one of the most unprofessional thing for a company can do to a paying customer.. but conveniently I live across the street so I drove down to the location and we got into a huge shouting match in front of a half a dozen people just watching. The manager ended up telling him to go into the back because he looked like he was about to burst into tears. Very unfriendly staff. Highest upcharge I have seen at any other UPS store. They basically try to force you into paying more. Take a long time to sort their mail. I have had other people's mail in my mailbox several times. The prices for the mailboxes are way too high here. They just clearly do not know what they are doing. Had something shipped here a few weeks back the employee who took the info wrote a completely different address so our item was sent to the wrong location. I thought well I at least got insurance so if it's lost I can file a claim. Supposedly that's what we thought we did then after two weeks called to see what the claim status was and the person that looked into was saying we couldn't file a claim because we used ground shipping and that doesn't fall under their guaranteed shipping policy. At this point I'm very upset because of all the time wasted. The guy had the nerve to tell me I need to be patient and work with him.....really?!?! It's not like we shipped a 20-50 dollar item we shipped an item worth 700 dollars and I need to be patient?!?! Well thanks to whoever got a hold of our item because they did the good deed of shipping it to where it was suppose to go not because this store made an effort to fix the issue in a timely manner. They did refund us the shipping cost for the inconvenience which is the only reason they get 2 stars. Their UPS upcharge is the highest I have scene. They charge almost double the normal UPS rate. Other UPS Stores upcharge is a lot less.

So pleased with the service I received sending a birthday gift to my son. I especially appreciate that UPS is able to have my data when sending packages from other UPS stores. Even if I sent items while traveling in another state, my account was synced with my home store. This was a surprise and a time saver. read more

The girl at the counter was not very helpful. I told her we were I kind of a hurry but she told me just to wait. We had waited 10 minutes for our turn and did as she requested to either send an email to them or from our own account. Which we did. In the mean time she helped other costumers which was not a problem per say. But as we stood there waiting for help again she had to finish with the guy. Before she even got to us she helped a lady that had come in after us to check her mailbox. She had several packages that need to be found. This took time away from us. She didn't care she just told us to wait because we hadn't come prepared. She didn't seemed pleased that I jumped in front of another customer who also had come in after us, to print out the paper that we needed printed. I'm sure that guy thought I was being a bitch because I was "rude" by raising my voice a little and pushy. I will never go back to THAT place when I am treated like that just for NOT being prepared. The owner of the location at Alma School and Germann is the worst businessman I have ever encountered. I was mischarged for postage even after being specific to what I wanted him to do in terms of shipping my items. He was inflexible in providing me with the return that I was rightfully owed because the error was his misunderstanding. I would NEVER recommend that anyone use this location to ship ANYTHING. He doesn't deserve your business and certainly won't do anything to keep his customers happy and ensure they are return customers. read more

Go anywhere but here for your shipping needs! New ownership in the last few months. Absolutely rude, terrible customer service, and incompetent...all of them. Use at your own risk. Don't know any of the UPS Shipping policies and are anything but there to help you. Estimate this UPS store location to close down within the year! Working with credit card company now to dispute the charges. What a pain! Tried to ship item overnight with insurance for $10k value.....was given a hard time about it from the CSR, made to open the packaging and "prove" the item was what I said it was? Never had to do that before. Then he proceeded to try and shove it back in the box however he could. Charged me $350 for Friday overnight delivery and insurance (which wouldn't have gotten there until the following Monday so not really overnight). Package was returned to sender at this UPS store because the store employee Yousef(?) did not know UPS store policy of holding a package for pickup at the other UPS store. When package was returned on Monday, never got out of the city over the weekend, I was told by UPS store employee that I dealt with that he had not heard back from UPS so could not refund my money yet. Tuesday passes, I hear nothing. Wednesday morning I call, rude employee answers phone with condescending tone says "Yousef" is not in and would call me back when he gets in at noon. 3pm I receive a call from "Yousef" stating he can refund me $100 of the $350 because "he has a business to run and UPS is not refunding him the full amount that was charged". Well, fortunately for "Yousef" and his crew, he won't have to worry about running that business for long with their current strategy of screwing their customers when they are at fault. read more
