I came THREE times for a simple package pickup. I was told my package "isn't here" after 2 confirmation for delivery notifications. I was told it wasn't here and I have my number and a tracking number and NEVER got a call back up. I. Am. Fed. Up. I needed the package HERE that's why I paid next day shipping because I have class and my uniform was there. I came back up to the store FURIOUS and my package magically came up. THEN even after going through this process with the same people in the UPS store they still told me to pay the $10 pick up fee. Which I ASSUMED would be taken care of after coming to the store three different times back to back. Recently I read the response from the UPS Store regarding my negative review. I feel this response had a 'too little too late' mentality to it. The manager watched as the transaction transpired and did nothing to resolve it, when it was occurring. I think the idea was "the customer we are about to screw over for $3 won't take the time to complain so don't worry about doing the right thing". Easy to hop on Yelp occasionally and apologize for free from time to time, isn't it? The long term impact is the loss of business this store will experience and loss of reputation. They have competitors. They seem to forget. They took the risk of losing the business of a potential regular (shipping for my business) for the quick cash. I don't treat my customers this way and review sites like Yelp help to protect consumers when retailers/vendors behave in this manner. read more

Sometimes going to a store to ship your package is just as bad of an experience as going to the post office the week before Christmas. It's slow, it's aggravating, and you think to yourself "geez, I should have just gone to the post office". Not this UPS Store!!! This place was super small, but easy to spot from the street, and there wasn't very much parking off the side of the building. I did get a spot immediately, but I also went in the middle of the day. I was also immediately greeted with a warm welcome by the two individuals behind the counter. They took my package (it was a return where I printed the label off the computer) and said they would be happy to put the label on and ship it with the rest of the USPS items. Thanks! Then they promptly and accurately prepared my package for shipment, so I was in/out of there in about 5 minutes. Fan-TASTIC. They also apparently have a notary...who knew?!?! These are the types of places where I want to take my business. Even though I have a packaging store in walking distance of where I live, this place is totally worth the drive up the street. read more

It was a little hard to find because the sign on their awning is hidden behind trees on West Blvd, before Camden. The parking is either before you get to the store or go around on Camden and park in the Design Center parking lot, but go through the lot until you're almost at the exit on the other side (on West). It's a small space, but they offer printing and print design services. They also have some small PO Boxes available. Plenty of mailing supplies and small bits of office supplies. They also had a small assortment of a photographic cards (blank inside) that had some nice scenes of Charlotte. The associates were nice and not impatient with me when I had to make a phone call to get the info they needed for me to handle my return. Now that I know where it is, I'll be more like to use this location again. read more

Very nice people... I was trying to mail a pretty heavy book and they ran the gamut of options that I have. Ended up not shipping it though (which they were totally fine with) and waiting to see if I could get a better shipping address so that my shipping wasn't more than the cost of the book! read more

Luis was awesome!! I came in with a live tree and he advised he hadn't packed one before. However, he immediately brought all he could think of to secure my tree. Luis provided me with "Fragile" stickers and a marker to write what I needed to ensure the plant's safety on my travel. read more

They are awesome at this store. They treat everyone like friends. I have been here a few times and each time it is a comfortable and welcoming! I just left there and they had me laughing so hard, my toddler is a bit explorative and some places make a stink about it, but at this UPS store they just love my little Liam! read more

I went in a had 3 boxes to send to my daughters on Feb .8th. They all contained gifts and personal belongings to my daughters from Christmas vacation. They weighted between 15 and 20 lbs . Supposed to delivered for Valentine's Day feb 14th. One to California never showed up online with info? Went to store on Feb 17th and said what is going on? No problem just delayed? 10 days later nothing??? Manager says let me put in an investigation? It will take another 8 days? How do you lose a 20 pound box? It is not like it fell out? 10 days later we can't find it? Please send me back up for everything in box . Luckily I had all receipts and pictures . Just over $700 . Managers says I will put in claim. By then I am PO , knowing some items will never be replaced. We are now 30 days later and manager calls and says because you didn't put additional coverage we will only pay you $100 and will refund you the $89 shipping!!!! You never delivered the package why would I get billed? After fighting with customer service rep who kept saying read the paper you signed!!! F the paper! You lost a 20 pound box??? Where is it - with my missing socks from the dryer? Cyberspace??? The cr had the nerve to say it wasn't their fault? Should I blame FedX , USPS , ??? By the way UpS made 4 BILLION in profit last year!! So screw the honest customer who just wanted his package delivered. March 26th waiting for my $189 check in mail to come. Champ and his team run an amazing operation in South End. This year I've had to have several documents notarized, printed, mailed with tracking etc. and they are always able to help in a pinch. Today they even provided two witnesses for a document. Champ is always in a good mood, friendly and even jokes around a bit. This is my go to store for any notary or mailing needs. Walked in a couple of days ago to scan my enrollment documents. I was in and out, the attendants were very helpful.. Basically did it for me. It was 1.60ish for two color copies. Nice to know I can run somewhere for a quick print or scan service! Will be back, thanks! You can park in the lot next to the store, it's usually not packed. A package notification was left at my address. It did not have a return address for the package. I think the notification itself needs work to assure customer satisfaction. I waited 2 business days and called the UPS store listed; 1800 Camden, Charlotte, NC. The person was pretty short and quickly said they did not have a package for that last name. He gave me the 1800 number which was a miserable experience. THERE is no quick way easy to get to a person. The tracking on the website said the package was delivered yesterday to that address. I had to listen to the spill about it going to the Access point and lots more unnecessary drivel. AGAIN It took forever to get a real person. TO improve customer service, UPS should have a way to dial 0 and get immediate help. THE real person was nice once I got her. SHE called the local office, which took some time, and came back on the line to say, IT WAS at the local office. THEY had not looked closely, using up my time. Moral to this story: DO NOT USE UPS. read more

This is the only ups store I've used so keep that in mind. But the people that work at this location are extremely friendly. After only talking to the owner one time, he remembered my name and welcomed me back over a week later. If this location is in a convenient location for you (in south end) then I highly recommend it. read more

$2 fee for a piece of tape to seal a box!? They have the right to charge whatever they want but I've had multiple issues with this location and their obscure fees. I'm done with this store. read more

Typically a good experience at this location, so I went out of my way to come in for an overnight shipping. I waited in an unnecessary line because the second employee was too busy to assist customers. When I asked to ship my envelope, the female employee walked away and refused service. I'm not sure why she acted that way and I didn't wait to find out. If my patronage isn't valued I'll move elsewhere, but I'm surprised to see such low quality service. I won't be back. read more
