I honestly dread going into this store. The manager guy in the stocking hat is so rude. His "how can I help" you is so insincere and cold, never smiles, and practically throws the receipt at me every time. And this happens EVERY SINGLE TIME. The other employees apparently think this is the norm, and they all follow suit. Not sure if stocking hat guy has a social disorder, but it isn't good for business. These are the rudest people I've ever dealt with. Every time I go in there, they are sarcastic, act put out if I don't understand the technology of the Amazon return app, and are just plain nasty. I was just there over the weekend*****correction *****it was on Monday this week. I USUALLY work Mondays so it felt like the weekend*****and an older man, (possibly the owner?) was extremely sarcastic with me. I was attempting to be as nice and polite as I could possibly be, and he was very unpleasant. And that's the experience I've had with these people every time I go in there. I've always had good service at this store, and I appreciate the convenience of being able to get packing materials, boxes, tape, etc at the same location. Also that they remember the addresses I have shipped to in the past. Also one time when I realized I had forgotten to pack one item in the box I was shipping, they were helpful and allowed me to retrieve my box, cut it open, pack the item, and tape it all back up. I came in and asked how much it was to scan documents and was told it was 11 cents per page. When I checked out, it was $1 per page. So, first, why is it $1 to run the machine for 2 minutes and put it on a file on my USB stick? Second, why doesn't the person working there know the price? read more

WARNING: RIPOFF ALERT! I asked to have a package redirected to this location since I coudn't be home to sign when the UPS driver arrives. (Expensive items, so I wasn't going to authorize the signature release). When I arrived to pickup my package, I was told there is a $5 "pickup fee". The clerk coudn't give me an acceptable explanation of what this fee is for. Essentially they're charging me to have the package sit on their counter until I pick it up! When I called UPS customer service (which isn't in the USA by the way) they told me the UPS stores are franchises and are free to charge whatever they want. So basically UPS is allowing stores like this one to use the UPS name and to ripoff UPS customers as they see fit! This isn't the first time I've had problems with UPS. I'm done dealing with them! The Postal Service and FedEx are much better options, and they don't charge to have packages held at their locations! read more

I wanted to ship a pot of chili next day. I went into the store and dealt with jacub he told me $109.17 to have it delivered guaranteed by 1 pm the next day, which was a Saturday. A little pricey but I figured as long as it gets there next day as promised for my friend who loves chili and is currently battling cancer. Chili never delivered on Saturday. Instead delivered Monday morning 9:30 am. Called jacub and told him I wanted my money back he says I imagine you do dude. Its a process Ill let you know when I get to it. WOW. This used to be my "go to" location for fast, reliable shipping. It was never cheap but now it's outrageously expensive. Prices are almost twice as high as anywhere else, including the UPS on-line shipping estimation calculator. Unfortunately, I had to ship that day or the pkgs wouldn't arrive on time. I'll go to the Ann Arbor location from now on. Besides over priced shipping, when you walk in it smells like a smokey bar from the 1970s. When I got home, my husband asked if I had been smoking... Took a very last minute package to this location. A birthday gift for my 90 year old mother who was turning 91 the next day. This was to be in CA, before the 12 noon party on the next day. I made the explicit request that I needed it there before that. I was told I could have a guaranteed 10:30 am delivery which was perfect. It didn't happen. I called the UPS store, talked with JAKE to get my $203.00 shipping charge returned to me. He assured me that UPS would send me a check. Twice. I would see it in about 10 days. When I checked on it last week, after still not receiving the check, meek, mild mannered Jake apologized and said he would check and call me right back. He totally remembered me. I just now called again and was told I was not getting my check because "UPS never charged me for 10:30 delivery". I know JAKE totally messed this up and now he refused to refund my $203.00. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS LOCATION AGAIN and I urge anyone reading this to go somewhere else. I felt bad for Jake at the beginning because I felt he was somewhat of a special needs employee. I now find out he is the manager of the store and a very untrustworthy one at that. He knows he's cheating me and I am livid. I will be issuing a formal complaint with UPS headquarters about this. read more

This is the third time I've used this UPS store. The past two times, the employee who waited on me was rude. Yesterday, the pink haired gal who took my package was WAY beyond rude to me. I cannot speak to shipping here, but as a place for printing it is terrible. The online portal to print from the web and pick up in store does not work. I went in to print in store, was told I could use the computer, and without being told of it was charged $2.50 for less than a minute of computer use. This not being an internet cafe in the 1990s, I was baffled by this, and surely will not be back. read more

This place is beyond HORRIBLE. Overpriced on all services. It is cheaper to buy your own scanner or printer than to come here. Other UPS stores offer less expensive rates. Extremely unhelpful manager. I will drive to Ann Arbor if I needed printing/binding services. As for shipping, the post office is at the end of the same complex and they are helpful and market-priced. If you need copies, go to the Chelsea Print shop-- they charged less and did a better job! read more
