I always go to this UPS store for shipping and returns. Everyone there is helpful and they make sure I get what I stopped in for.

Horrible service. I called asking for my livescan receipt and she wouldn't help me and gave me the hardest time. I gave her around two times i came in - she sent me the wrong receipt. I asked if she could check the second time because i wanted the accurate credit card number on it. She proceeded to state "I'm sorry but there's a line outdoor." I'm just as much of a customer as the other people are regardless if I'm via phone or in person. She then left me on hold for 15-20 minutes. I called back several times and she hung up immediately after hearing my voice and the following phone calls she left it to voicemail. read more

DO NOT USE THIS STORE... GO TO STAPLES OR KOHLS OR AN ACTUAL UPS DROP-OFF This store aligns itself with UPS in order to gather respect...or...should I say...maligns itself to UPS. UPS would force them to stop using their name if they knew about the rude, base, and slovenly behavior committed by this store. Regardless of the response by the owner that "we have changed management, please come visit us again", it has not changed. They hire people who are young and don't really care...therefore they will accept a low wage...and these kids just supplement their low income by taking small valuable packages (as mentioned in other reviews). I just went in with my "drop-off receipt" asking assistance in locating the status of my package because online there was nothing about it...on either end. The rep...(only guy there on an early Saturday afternoon)...admonished me by stating he has no idea where it is...and to contact the receiver...I asked why he couldn't look it up...and he told me...in front of other waiting customers...that I was a "dumbass". read more

They overcharged for printing any documents. Just to print a black and white A4 size doc, they charged me 2.50 for each page which is very expensive. I talked to the guy why is that expensive. He said the price has surged!! read more

Good location and decent people. The place is way too busy for the size of the store, and the level of staffing. If you have a private mailbox, be prepared to have a mountain of packages in front of it, preventing you from getting to it. The staff is friendly, however, and is willing to Retrieve your letters, but it will require you to stand in line five people deep. read more

I've had a couple really great experiences recently at this UPS location! A couple weeks ago, my business partner and I brought in 80 large boxes before closing and Aubrey helped us scan them all in, move them around the store so they would fit, and was overall super kind and helpful. Bit late on this but this was from last Wednesday when I came in very last minute to have my Samsung phone sent off for repair. Never did that before and was understandably clueless on how to do any of it and one minute before closing doesnt help with that but what did help was the guy working named Aubry who was above and beyond fantastic and took care of everything I needed and even input the details into the system right away or it would have prevented me from sending anything after closing time which he was kind enough to extend a few minutes to take care of me and was so friendly and kind about it too, which goes a long way nowadays. was sent off and received by samsung all good to go, so thank you again and I really appreciate the help! read more

I am not sure what the issue is with all the bad reviews, it is the UPS store. I am not sure what people are expecting. The employees were not over the moon excited to see me, but they were nice enough. They took my Amazon returns tape the boxes up and put the stickers on it. What more can you expect. I think people in the OC need to chill out and not expect to be at the Ritz Carlton when you walk into the UPS store. I will be back. read more

I'm writing about how well one of the employees at the UPS store in Costa Mesa, her name is Amy as well as the rest of the staff helped me. I literally just had come from the pharmacy after a long wait for my appointment, I had finally been cleared to get my medication. Well on the way home from the pharmacy I stopped to make an Amazon return but I wasn't thinking and for some reason returned the item along with my medication in the bag. I quickly came back after trying to back track my steps and Amy went thru all the Amazon returns and found my item with my my prescription in it, she literally made my day as well as the other staff members. I've been waiting to finally get signed off on my script after finally getting a new doctor after my last one left. If it wasn't for Amy and the other employees at the store in Costa Mesa, I would be once again shit out of luck. Came to this location to drop of a few prepaid boxes and the employees working there does not seem friendly or welcoming. As I stand there waiting for them to scan the boxes and wait for receipt, I'm getting a rude stare from some clown on his cell phone working there and another idiot who gives me a not so nice look as he walks past me. Geez, I didn't realize that's what you do to your customers to make them feel comfortable and welcomed. Owners need to be aware of this as your rating sucks for a reason. I go to this UPS store frequently with returns and the process is always quick and enjoyable. Even when there is a short line you can tell the employees are working hard to help everyone as quickly and efficiently as possible. I often am helped by Griffin or Jordan and they always have a great attitude!! This store is top tier compared to some of the other stores in Costa Mesa. read more

The staff here is always super helpful and they keep their cool no matter how packed it is with people and packages. I was with them all through Covid and they fully handled it. If you are returning an Amazon package of high value, make sure to take a picture of the items on their scale and grab your receipt. Couldn't hurt to note the person helping you either. Every time I have dropped off something with a large value the package goes missing. This is now the 3rd time. I went in to follow up after 6 days of no update on tracking number and they were dumfounded and said that number is not what is actually used?!? and that i should contact Amazon. Contacted Amazon and sure enough they use that number and said since there was no update, I had to wait two weeks before filing a claim. They verified the weight (GET YOUR RECEIPT) was accurate but still could not give me the credit yet. Over $800 worth of merch that was misplaced and now I was unable to purchase what I needed in time. This place reeks of fraud. read more

They're rude. The way they answer the phone as well as when you're in the store. I understand if you're busy, but if you're making the customer feel like they're bothering you, that is terrible customer service. This store deserves 5 stars! I have been to this store a couple of times every month for the past almost 4 years. The employees are always polite, kind and helpful. There are a LOT of packages and people that go through this store. It is a miracle how they keep the packages organized and in order especially during the winter holidays!
