Patty is absolutely the best representative at a UPS Store I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She always greets with a smile and takes time to explain what needs to happen when something isn't working correctly. I drive to Dickson every day and pass two UPS Stores in my working path, but I never stop to use them because I know I will receive superior service from Patty and don't want to waste my time. Seemingly overnight, there are numerous negative comments posted here (and on other public access websites) about one specific employee of this business. As if suddenly everyone who conducts business there decided to complain about that one certain employee. This seems rather unusual and seems to be a form of targeted harassment. There doesn't seem to be any effort made by management to ascertain the nature of the sudden influx of negative reviews. One would believe that management would be finding out the nature of the complaints and reaching out to the complainers for more information. This sudden wave of negative comments seems to a concerted effort by someone to do harm to this employee's career. By only speaking negatively about the employee, and not reaching out to management with their concerns (which is how the proper complaint and resolution system works) the complaints appear targeted. Such complaints may border on libel and open the posters of these to civil litigation. It is one thing to speak your mind on social media, such as Facebook, but business websites are typically considered official places of business by the courts, and are typically held under tighter scrutiny for negative posts. Employers are required by OSHA to provide a safe and un-harassed environment for their employees. By any member of management not investigating suspicious and or sudden appearing outrageous complaints about their employees, employers may open themselves to civil litigation as well, for allowing a "hostile work environment" to persist against their employee. Any employee who feels threatened by customers, or feels abandoned by their employer, should seek legal counsel from profession employment limitation attorneys. There are several in good standing with good records in the middle Tennessee area. I would suggest someone, such as the Consumer and Employment Law Group, to protect the civil rights of persons employed by businesses that allow their employees to be harassed and unjustly subjected to negative comments in public media. I ordered a product from Amazon that said it would be delivered between 4th and the 7th of February. The product has been down the street at the Dickson Facility since the 4th (2 days ) . I went to Amazon to track and now it says the delivery date is between 6th -7th . I tracked the package on UPS tracking and it says it will be delivered tomorrow. This is unacceptable. The reasons the dates are in a range is because shipments from China ( which again is almost impossible to figure out that it is from china until already ordered) have been so unpredictable not so UPS can hold it until the last day to fit their schedule. I'm not even a mile away from the site at least you could have sent it to the UPS store so I could pick it up or have an option to pick up at that facility. Also now all of a sudden I'm getting (phishing)texts that say i need to confirm info because my product can't be delivered from driver at ups... Unacceptable read more

Very poor experience with this UPS store over the phone. I called and advised the person I spoke with, Bill, that I was calling the store to ask about the hours of the hub. I told him I know they are not the hub but because they are the Dickson UPS store I thought they would potentially know. He said "And you didn't just call customer service?" in a condescending tone. I then said I did not because I have been driving and I did not want to risk safety to push buttons for prompt options. He then said that the store works "with" the hub but is not associated with the hub and would have to get me over to customer service. I am not impressed. read more

I don't really want leave a low star review because the store is great, well kept, and has always been amazing to me on my random stop bys. I ship, print, notarize, and do Amazon Returns and it's great! I do not like walking in here and hearing one of the employees say how "stupid" "dumb" "ignorant" a previous customer was though. I understand from 20+ years of retail customers can be pretty intolerable. While the younger lady (Stephanie?) was assisting me I was over hearing the taller lady with glasses talking disrespectfully of a previous customer and that's just not a great thing to have in the work environment, at least not while other customers are in the building! I don't think she realized I was in there but still, not great to hear. Great store, great environment unless you're being helped by "Haley", most hateful employee I think I've ever seen here, and I've came here for years. She has helped me multiple times and turns a great place into a horror show. Hateful, rude, and constantly seems bothered if you ask a question or just by entering the store regardless. I was helped by Stephanie today luckily which was great, but still over hearing how Haley talks to customers and how rude she is to every customer makes it hard to want to go here anymore. read more

The customer service here is above and beyond! When passing through town, I had left my briefcase behind (with my computer and a lot of important documents in it) at the local Mega Inn and Suites right before Thanksgiving. Unable to return, and assisted by the staff of the Mega Inn and Suites, THIS UPS store was able to get everything packaged up, paid for, and shipped to me over a holiday weekend. I am super disappointed. I am an Amazon seller and recently started participating in Amazon Prime. Amazon Prime requires that you ship the same day that the order is received. I've dropped packages off at this store without issue until last week. Apparently FIVE of the packages that I dropped off at mid-day (2pm) were not given to the UPS driver when he came. UPS stops there for pick ups a few times during the day, with the last being around 6pm. There is no way that I missed the pick up, and I am fairly certain that I dropped them in time for the mid-day pick up too. Either way, I know when I dropped them off, and you can see from the tracking that UPS did not get them until the next day. This caused all my shipments to be late, and subsequently got me suspended from Amazon Prime because they were delivered to the customer late. Now I can only hope that I get reinstated before Christmas shopping starts. As I write this I am wondering why I am giving them three stars. I guess I chose that because they're usually pretty friendly. Secondly, I totally disagree that the management encourages regular customers to park in the fire lane, because they have a lot of packages to drop off. It has become such a regular thing that there are always people parked there now, just for their own personal convenience, not because they have a lot of items to carry in. It makes it hard to back out when someone is parked there (which is more often than not), and it's a total pain for those of us that follow the rules and have to walk around people parking illegally in the fire lane. When I have multiple packages I make multiple trips or use a small dolly. read more

This store is an overpriced rip-off. I left a bad review for them on another site and it disappeared, so I thought I would leave one here in hopes that it stays put. My intention in using the UPS store was to avoid long lines at the post office. When they told me what the shipping charges would be to use the US Postal Service through them, they were extremely high. Always higher than the USPS rate. Imagine that. Additionally, they did not offer shipping options that the post office offers, allowing the shipper to reduce the cost. In my other review, the owner of the store replied to my comment, stating that they do NOT upcharge on the USPS shipping fees. I would be charged the same EXACT fee as I would at the post office. WRONG. Conveniently, they had a computer in their lobby, so I went on the post office's website to get a shipping quote using my package dimensions and weight. It was at least a third lower than what they were charging. My comment to the person ringing me up was, "I was told that your rates for the post office were the same exact as if I went to the post office". She said, "Absolutely not. That wouldn't make any sense". Well, there you have it. There was another man in the store who was mailing a package as well. When they quoted the rates, he did the same exact thing that I did--repeat the rate back to them in a shocked tone. They just look at you as if to say, "Take it or leave it". I will NEVER EVER step foot in their store again. They are just some company who purchases the right to use the UPS name. I just priced the package I was attempting to mail on the UPS website. The cost was $23 compared to the $36 price that they quoted me. NOPE. Don't think so. read more
