I would like to recognize Kassy at the El Cajon, CA store #2869 for exceptional customer service. Returning 3 large furniture pieces that were extremely heavy. Amazon did not give correct labels for different tracking numbers. Kassy helped us figure this out with Amazon. So we did not have to take the heavy pieces back home again only to return with correct labels. The store was very busy but Kassy still took the time to help relieve our stress with the situation. What amazing service we received from Dominique at the UPS store. I had a $2000 painting I needed to ship to the east coast and she provided amazing service and genuine care. She explained exactly how they were going to package it and gave us several options for shipping. We felt very safe in her hands. Her co-worker, Kass, was great as well and they were both so kind. I have a PO Box at this store and have had one since the previous owners. Staff at this location has always been helpful and friendly and this has not changed with the new owners. I have shipped items, received packages, made copies and used their notary. I have witnessed several times staff being very patient and courteous with customers who were being rude and had unreasonable expectations. I would recommend this location to anyone needing a PO Box with a regular address and someone to sign for packages, as well as any other shipping/business needs. read more

I was at this location earlier this morning and all I have to say is that I loved how helpful and professional the team was. I bought a quilt online and I had to return it since it was damaged. I didn't want to pay a lot for the return but Vanessa showed me different ways that I could cut down on cost using smaller box. It was still more than I wanted to spend so she suggested to use one of their coupons to use but I decided not to ship. This UPS store is horrible and I will never use them again. They know absolutely nothing about customer service and they are rude not wanting to find my package that was sent to their location for some unknown reason from the UPS route driver. I make it a point to tell anyone that I buy from online to never ship anything to me via UPS because I refuse to deal with the rude people at this store. read more

Dropped off a package that was supposed to be sent next day air. It was never sent. When we called the store to find out what happened, the owner of the store said it was the UPS driver's fault for not picking it up. I asked if all the other packages went out successfully yesterday and she said yes. So we asked why ours didn't, and they continued to blame the driver. I called UPS corp and they told us this franchised store was to blame in this scenario. Problem was, nobody was willing to accept responsibility and we were not refunded. They didn't even offer to expedite shipping to get our package there as promised, even though we had paid close to $200 for urgent overnight shipping in the first place. The owner and her husband were incredibly rude and unwilling to help, despite their "guarantee" that our package would be overnighted originally. So, If you want a package delivered, I suggest you take it anywhere but there. read more

Went there to use LiveScan services and had called the previous day to make an appointment for Saturday. The girl that answered the phone said just to come in anytime between 9 and 2 and it would be no problem. I told her I would be there between 1 and 1:30. Got there at 1:15 and was told that she was "booked" and could not do the Live Scan since she was the only one in the store. Explained that I called ahead of time and asked why the employees didn't give clear instructions. She was not even apologetic, in the least accomodating, or helpful. Will never go to this UPS store again. Shame on these owners for not teaching their employees how to have good customer service skills. read more
