I still recommend that you make an appointment though. We had four different documents notarized at $15 each. The staff member helping us noticed that a couple of the items had an older version of the notary page so he added a separate document for those to make sure everything was in order and up to date. So helpful! We would never have recognized any issues. He was very so patient with my Dad (who is 84), calm and thorough. I didn't catch his name but he's employee #236171. After I got my Dad and brother settled next door at Kyoto Ramen and food ordered, I came back to the UPS store to get copies printed for everything. They have self service machines and you tell them how many single or double sided, b&w or color copies you've made. I was back to Kyoto Ramen before the food came out!

He directed us to the Pinole location with no appointment needed, so we went. The clerk at Pinole said that the person was off and asked us to go back the next day. We called the next day before going, the person was still off. The online appointments should be taken off because it does not represent reality. The walk-ins don't work because they don't regularly stuff anyone for the notary services. Avoid to use UPS for this purposes.

Staff usually not friendly, but today was on another level. The guy working Saturday mornings is incredibly unprofessional. I walked in and was ignored. He was talking with someone (another customer? A friend?) and complaining about customers and using a lot of curse words really loudly. All while I was standing there waiting to be helped. He never once acknowledged me. I just had a drop off but needed a receipt, so I just waited. Then someone else came in and I saw them use the kiosk to drop off a labeled package and they got a receipt from the kiosk. So I went over and did the same thing. But at no point did the employee suggest that I could do that, let alone acknowledge my existence. I hate coming here, and will continue to avoid it if I can.

Even my request for a large, stiff envelope was met with great patience and a smile. The man behind the counter remained pleasant, attentive and smiling throughout this ordeal of multiple docs to mail internationally. He advised me too on the least expensive method ( but a tracked mailing method) too. I'll def go here vs elsewhere next time. I asked the woman to please make sure to give me a receipt for both packages. She did not reply. I told her that I asked her to make sure of both receipts because I left two Amazon returns a few months ago at this location and got only one receipt. One of the returns never made it to Amazon and it cost me $76.00. She Acted annoyed and said "I gave you two receipts" and stared at me with a blank look on her face. She showed no concern at all that they screwed up in the past. She apparently does not like her job and does not like her customers. If this is the case she should at least fake being nice or quit her job.

Not only was I looking for flowers, but also a sympathy card. The selection for pet sympathy cards was a little bit small, however, the options that were available were perfect. The woman who was working was very kind and directed me towards the selection right away. The cards I got was also only $4!
