Went today to sign documents with their notary and my attorney. There was no hand sanitizer or any disinfectant for use with the pen to sign nor the credit card terminal. I asked if they had any - and was simply told no we don't. So in the future if anyone asks me if I recommend this UPS store I most definitely will say NO. UPS get it together !!! read more

I do not know if UPS audits their franchises, but this location needs a proper review. Store Owner - as stated on name tag- tells me that the box is too big- I had the return code out, and let the person know that there are two boxes from the same order [same item x2] and one barcode for the box... I get told off that I am wrong, my request to recycle the box there is denied, and I begin to break the box down as I need to take it with me [that is fine- they are not responsible for the recycling of my shipment box]. However, after the Store Owner realized the order really only had the one barcode- mind, I'm dissembling the box to make it easier to carry, he tells me to go to the 'Taping Station'- I was further subjected to a combative and terse tone for there not being any tape at this so-called 'station',as well for me placing the crinkle paper that had been in the initial box in their recyclable bin [I was directed to do so as he told me NOT to have it in the return shipping box], than, loudly commented on how he could have charged me $15 to $20 for the same box he wouldn't take initially, as there was only one label....WHAT?!? If this review reads as a frantic fever dream, that is the reality of this location. This is not the first return I have made at a UPS Store in my life, and, I'd rather do a 10k MudRun prior to navigating a WF location without onsite parking than go to this outpost again. read more

The old man that runs this place is SO rude. He literally told me in front of everyone in the shop that I 'screwed up' by returning something( he thought was wrong ) back to Amazon. The lady that was helping me - before he pushed his way in - was trying to explain to him what was happening. He bullied her by ignoring what she was saying and bullied me by being so offensive. Staff are rude. They didn't have a notary on site but have a sign up advertising that they do. While we were there, one employee was on the phone, the other in back dealing with her nose ( and so obviously sick when she came back) . The one on the phone was talking to someone who was NOT a customer. Stay away. read more

Employees have a bad attitude. It was like it was an inconvenience for them to have to look up and find my package I had delivered ther. Had a package delivered by ups there instead of home as i was out of town. I called the day before I had to pick it up, as I was stuck put of town and lady on the phone said "no problem, will put a note on it to keep for a few more days". arrived to pick it up 2 days later and with a bad attitude I was told NO we don't do that. It must have been sent back. Not in our system. And yep, they sent it back that morning it was scheduled to go back. Why then did they say no problem on the phone?? I had 2 pre-addressed packages to drop off but I needed a receipt. When I arrived this morning, there was one customer wandering around and the one employee I could see (actually hear) was in the back wrapping a package. Did NOT even acknowledge me...i waited, and waited, and waited...thought about leaving, thought about calling out to the employee, then waited some more. 20 minutes later, employee is walking back to the front desk and says good morning. I politely tell her that i just need to drop off, but want a receipt. Ok sir, I'll be with you after a few minutes...then proceeds to help the other customer...the other customer actually, tells the employee to help me out...which she does...30 seconds...and I'm done and gone. My wife went to this UPS store to return an AT&T internet router. There is a clear process for returning these and my wife had the router, power cord, and the return shipping label in the bag. She talked to the manager Dave at this store and he proceeded to point out that she didn't have a box with the router, even though AT&T documentation clearly states that you can bring the equipment to any UPS Store in a bag, tote, or open box. Dave also asked her for the account number, even though it is printed right on the return shipping label that was in the bag. My fault I guess for not pointing out the account number to my wife, but I figured the UPS store employees would know right where it is when they saw the label. The worst part is that Dave kept calling her "sweetheart" and "honey" and other childish and condescending names the whole time. I called and spoke to Dave and gave him feedback about the experience my wife had. He at no time took responsibility for his actions or apologized in any way for the situation. He just stated that he is confused how this would have upset her and that he calls everyone sweetheart. I asked him if he would like me to start calling him named like "pops" or "old-timer," and he then hung up on me and changed his phone option to send calls right to voice mail. I almost went down there to talk to him face-to-face, but I don't want to do something I could regret. My wife came home from this experience very upset. The manager Dave at this location should be removed from this position for the way he handled the situation and treated my wife, and especially for the fact that he bears no responsibility for his actions. There is something clearly wrong with this individual being in a position like this. In my company this would be a clear HR violation and would possibly result in being fired, or at least put on a performance improvement plan. Hope this review helps and I advise everyone to steer clear of this place until this guy is removed. read more

Poor service. Owner very condescending to staff. Won't let others help so line takes forever. Finally gave up and left!

During my 15 minute visit I witnessed the owner/manager belittle his employee, and speak rudely and condescendingly to almost every customer that walked through the door. In addition, this is the second time in as many visits that "internet problems" slowed the line to an unacceptable crawl. Time to update your system. I spoke with UPS Corporate and was informed Mr. Lyons was instructed by UPS Corporate to call me within 48 hours. I have yet to hear anything. Don't think I had ever had an awesome UPS experience until today. Even with a crazy rush of holiday gift givers the folks at this UPS were incredibly efficient. They moved through a line of about 20 people like lightening and took what I was expecting to be a half hour wait and turned it into about 5 minutes. When I was up the guy that helped me worked lightening quick and was extremely friendly during the process. It's not often that I'd be inspired to write about a place that helps me ship stuff, but this UPS location was special. Whoever's at the helm is doing a damn fine job. read more

I've always found the staff friendly and helpful here...until my visit yesterday. The young guy who took my return had his mask under his chin and when I asked if he'd mind wearing it, he pulled it up to under his nose lol. And when I said goodbye after completing my return, he looked me in the eye and tugged it down under his chin. With omicron surging, you'd think a manager might ensure everyone working there is compliant. After all, that's what keep businesses open. read more

This is my favorite ups store. Excellent help. I came in with a Disneyland print which was large and long. I needed to have it packed and shipped. Since it was framed with what I thought was glass, I was worried about it breaking the glass and ruining the art work. They did a fantastic packing job and it arrived in perfect shape. My daughter, who received it, was impressed with how well it was packed. Thank you. Go to them. Happy group. Helpful. read more

When moved from my longtime home in Encinitas, and was looking for a new home, a friend highly recommended this specific location because of the fantastic care she receives here. This business as most these days, could care less if you use their sevices. But today, I can now say their staff behavior is rude, immature and unethical. I immediately got an attitude from the young person waiting on me. I was sending a check and asked what the cost of sending a check and track it. Was told roughly $20. Wow I thought it was half that much the last time I asked. I decided to send it just regular mail and was charged $ 1.58 ! I asked, is that the price of a stamp? Yes (with a smart attitude) I was told. I left and went back in to get my envelope as I just had a bad feeling. It was sideways on the back corner and not in the outgoing bin. I'm glad I got it but was then given more smart attitude. I looked at the envelope and saw I was charged $1.53! So I went back again and was upset by now but not swearing or screaming, though you would of thought i was. Was told by an older person in a very condescending demeaner- that that's for a " First Class" stamp! Which I never requested. Im so tired of UPS and their weak customer service. Never going back and suggest you don't either unless you want attitude and sneaky price gouging. read more

Went in because a month ago I dropped off two packages which were textbook rentals needing to go back to Amazon. Got a receipt for two packages with different weights but they had scanned only one of the tracking numbers for BOTH packages (wish I would have checked the receipt more closely!) Of course, the package whose number was not scanned never arrived and now I have been charged $380 for the textbook! Today when I asked the woman at the counter for help with this, showed her my receipt with the same tracking number for two packages, each having a different weight, so distinctly TWO packages, etc, she was super rude and hostile and would not help me. After reading other yelp reviews and seeing that this has happened to others frequenting this UPS store, I am surprised but not surprised. People will do anything to make a buck these days. Easy, polite, reasonable... what else do you want to know? Be careful with the Maps app because it won't lead you directly there. Instead it will take you to the Chase bank which is in a different parking lot all together. This is located a couple doors down from the Hallmark card store. read more

My mom lives in Cardiff and I needed to pack and ship everything I owned. I've been to this UPS store a few times before and never had any beef with them. I checked online to make sure of their closing time and was happy to find out that they close at 7. I rolled up at 6:33 and sighed in relief that I had made it. Door was locked, people inside were laughing at me. Literally. Sign on the door said they closed at 6:30. Change your website and teach your employees how to be nice. read more

Sadly I wish I could give a zero. The owner of this business is beyond rude and disrespectful. I went in to return my Amazon order. I watched the owner push an Amazon delivery man. This turned into an argument to which the owner made rude comments about the delivery man to another customer. When it was my turn, I placed my Amazon return on the scale. He asked where my box was. I said I no longer had it. He asked why I would throw it away. I explained that this particular item was in a large box with several other items. To which he said, "then where is that very large box?" Again, explained I did not have the box and according to the directions from Amazon, I was to just return the item to UPS WITHOUT a box. He said I was lucky he found a box or he would charge me. Then he proceeded to belittle me and tell me that I should always keep the very large boxes. As I waited for my return receipt, he kicked several packages on the floor and told his employee to pick them up as they were in his way. I've never experienced a more rude and disrespectful person. He not only made the customers feel bad but he was terrible to his employees. I'm not sure how UPS is ok having this type of owner represent their company. read more

They are also very convenient for hard-to-find Notary services when I need it. I also get a discount as an AAA and AARP member. I'm not sure what it means to be a designated UPS Store. I was notified my package had arrived, but when I went to pick it up I was told the Owner sent it back. Without prior notice it's his policy to do this during the holidays. I just spent $14.99 with UPS to re-route the package. I will never set foot in this store again. read more

RUDE RUDE RUDE! The old man, never got his name unfortunately, was so rude I was speechless. I walked in to send a Verizon prepaid return and stood behind a gentleman being helped by a young lady. The old man was at the other computer whistling and humming and said "hey how's it going". I took this as in he was going to help me so I walked up said "good how are you? I have these two boxes from Verizon but"... he cuts me off and went "whoa whoa whoa I was just asking how it's going I didn't mean you could come up here and attack me, I'm busy checking in boxes." So I said sorry I can wait. He proceeded to finish up and then says ok. I try to ask him about the 2 packages as they had the same tracking number (Verizon had issues with printing labels). I had just gone into Verizon and they told me to check with ups and if it was a problem then both phones could just go into 1 box. As I'm trying to explain this to him he grabs the boxes, scans the first then THROWS it to a pile of boxes. He goes to scan the second and it doesn't work. Finally he hears me say they have the same tracking number and says "that's a problem." He grabs both boxes and put them on the counter directly behind me. So I went and put both phone into one box. I turn around and he's helping someone else but the young lady was available. I give her the box, she scans it and hands me the label and he comes over freaking out that he already checked it in and gave me a label. I said no you didn't. To which he says "I gave you a label and you threw it away". So I repeated "no you did NOT give me anything..." He cut me off before I could say anything else (there was a whole lot more I wanted to say to him), says "well you have one now" and winks and walks away. Just a complete ass.
