The staff is very friendly but the new hires do not seem to know what they are doing. I come in everytime with preprinted labels and just need to purchase two boxes with packing materials and get them sent off. I have been there twice recently for the same thing and it has taken 30 minutes each time. I have to repeat myself multiples time on what I need and the process has become frustrating. The older woman that works there use to handle this process with me and she is a pro! Very knowledgeable and listens. I never have to worry about my shipments when she handles it, but she is busy handling everything else because the new staff struggles with handling customers in a timely manner. I will probably start going somewhere else for my shipping needs to be honest. read more

Terrible. Have used this store maybe 6 times in the last 2 years. First 4x were fine. Two times ago, I was sending a package for next day, Saturday delivery. Paid $60. Guess what? It arrived the following Monday. I went in and filed a claim and they filled out the papers. Well I forgot about any kind of refund til about a week ago. When I went in to check, I was told that she had very little information because I probably filed the claim too late. I didn't wait longer than a week post-delivery. Out $60. Outrageous. Took another little envelope there about 2 weeks ago. I'd learned my lesson with the next-day disappointment, so instead of that, I sent it 2nd day for $30, even though it also contained medicine for my daughter. Well, she informed me that she never got it, even asked her upstairs neighbor. About 3 days ago, UPS called to say it came back! I picked it up and the man who gave it to me offered no explanation. When I asked, he said it said wrong address....(I'd sent packages to her before and the lady who shipped it even checked the zip code for me.) He showed me the address and said is this the address? I said yes and he said, it is?! Said he was only going by what it said and that it's not deliverable. So in short, they're pretty nice in there, but the last 2 times, they screwed up. Not good odds. If I didn't care about delivery time, I'd save big bucks just sending by post office. Unreliable too many times. Won't be back. read more

I rated this UPS store (2221Justin Road Flower Mound, Texas )with one star, because of my experience with one person that helped me working there. I was returning a very large, tall box to Amazon that contained a ceiling fan. I carried the heavy end of the box up top and next to me, for a safer transport of the fan. setting it down it was tall and I stood right next to it . When I got it to the counter UPS staff person Mike a tall, large grey haired man walked around the counter to me, never saying a word hit the box on the side very hard, knocking it to the floor. The box hit the floor very hard and loud. I was in shock, took a step back as he scanned the box . He ask if I wanted a receipt, I said yes, took my receipt and left. This person Mike, took no reasonable care for this package that was in his care. I will not return to this location that we have used for 10 plus years. This was a total disrespect for my package and the company I was returning it too. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I was shipping a package overseas for a customer and went into the UPS Store on Justin Road to make sure I chose the correct shipping options and included the correct customs documents. My shipment was time sensitive and I needed delivered on time. Because they cannot pull up my account on their system, I brought my laptop with me so they could walk me through the process. They seemed to be knowledgeable about international shipping and did not tell me otherwise. To my shock and surprise my shipment was delayed because the correct customs documents were not included (Again, the only reason I spent two hours of my day in this store was to ENSURE everything was correct.) After paying for a very expensive two-day shipping to the UK, my customer was irate that the package would not be delivered on time. I called the store Tuesday afternoon and asked that the manager return my call to see why my shipment was handled incorrectly. The employee told me the manager Terry would return my call by noon the next day. She DID NOT return my call and I finally called her myself. She said she would look into the matter and call me back. A WEEK LATER Terry still had NOT returned me call. Once I got her on the phone Terry was hardly apologetic, blaming the issue on the fact that the store is a franchise and not that her employees are poorly trained. I've never been treated so badly by a store manager. She did not take my concern seriously, even when I told her it negatively impacted my business. My company does a lot of business with this store and we considered them a partner. After my deplorable experience with Terry the manager I will not be returning. If you want your packages shipped correctly, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE! read more
