Couldn't process a simple fax at this location. Don't know if there was a change in ownership but the two employees in front obviously didn't know how to use the fax machine . Never had a problem prior to this . They made two attempts before saying that the number wasn't valid which I know for a fact isn't true . Went to the UPS store in Martinez and they processed the fax no problem so it obviously was an issue with this store and its untrained employees not knowing how to fax . read more

Sucks !!! This lady sat on her fanny while there was a line . Then when the scanner stop working she started complaining because she actually had to work . When I got up to the counter she said that I had to print my label and package it myself. That is not what the return label stated . I just walk away. Customer Service in this location sucks. I'm updating my review to a 5 stars that this place so deserves. After my bad experience earlier this year, this place has a complete 360 in terms of customer service. I went there a few weeks ago and the customer service was so so and I was not sure if I wanted to continue to patronize this place. Today I went by to drop off my 3 Amazon packages and the customer service was ridiculously good. A very kind lady waited on me and she was so pleasant and made me feel welcome. This place is back to where it was a few years ago. Now I don't need to go across town to drop off my Amazon returns at Staples anymore. I think they are under new management but I'm not totally sure. They have updated their hours and are now open on Sundays. Please patronize this local store. Worse customer service ever. Went in to get a notary done, and with no customers in the store, the person there (a white female) made us wait 20 mins while she chatted with other employees. Then she refused to do the notary. She was very rude and unfriendly. I will NOT go to this UPS store until she is either gone, or when she treats the customers better. Stay away from here and go to the UPS store in Pinole. Whoever owns this location, just know that you have the worse employee here, and if you do nothing, shows how much you care for customer service, and for the customer. read more

Do NOT go to this store for a NOTARY. They offer appointments for notary. I showed up with my handicapped mother to have important paperwork done, and then were told they would not actually have a notary there that day. This happened twice to us at this same store. This store INTENTIONALLY misplaced my package with important documents!! I visited this store about a week ago to take photos for my VISA application. The owner of the store personally took my photos and insured me that my package would be expedited to the embassy. After completing my transaction I was given a tracking number. However as the days progressed I noticed that my package never left the UPS store. I proceeded to visit the store in order to speak with someone about a possible update on my expedited package. The employees were unwilling to assist me and instead provided me with the owner's contact. After speaking with the owner she informed me that "packages go missing all the time" and there was nothing she can do about it. I've been getting the run around ever since. Please be careful when sending packages from this location. read more

Wow. Never had an experience like this at a UPs store. Would you too like an ups employee to tell you they hope you die? You've come to the right store. Went in before my flight to mail a package. In Oakland it's around a 1.50 to print a label. They said it's $4.26. I said that's wild, I've never heard of a store charging that much. Others I go to charge far less. Can you do what they charge? They said no... so I finally said this is nuts. But I'll pay it. And leave a bad review on Yelp explaining. And they said: we don't want to help you then! So ... the only power as a customer you have is to warn others about a service. But say you'll be honest about what they're doing? And I said... I havent left anything. But now, just because I say I'll leave a review you won't even help me! That's nuts. That's a far worse review to get. That you refused service because a customer said they'd leave an honest assessment. Surely they're joking I thought. But alas Finally I said, what's your name. And she said I'll give you my card. And then said. Yknow what? I won't. You have to look it up. (she's the manager). And I was like this is ridiculous. And I said, Yknow Inhope you lose your job. I had the displeasure of attempting to retrieve a package that was held here for my girlfriend who lost her ID over the weekend. My girlfriend had a package held at this location and attempted to retrieve it on 11/29/2024. She realized that she misplaced her ID and attempted to utilized a photo of her ID, utility bill with matching address, and a credit card with her name on it, she was refused service. So we place a call to UPS to see if I would be able to pick up the package. So there would be no issues I requested that the agent call ahead and I would show up with all the tracking info, my government issued ID, and a utility bill. Even after having a representative from UPS call and state that it was ok to release the package to me Cinda, Cindy, (whatever her name is) refused to do so. She then proceeded to attempt to show me a bunch of UPS rules stating that we didn't have the same last name, so she refused the agents request. I questioned as to how she felt as if she could supersede the shipper in this instance, she basically said because she can, that she doesn't work for UPS, etc. This situation (which I believed would be a simple pickup) ended up with six police officers being called out and lots of unnecessary aggression and frustration (I'm now trespassed from this location ). Also, the police still ended up giving us the package, so this was a total waste of time and energy! But, if you're interested in low class service, lots of attitude and disrespect, this is definitely the place. read more

December 7,2023 I went to the UPS Store in Hercules Ca. I had intended to download the return info that Amazon sends to its customers. But for some reason I hadn't. When I went to the counter I realized I still needed to get the return info. I became nervous, and I rushed myself. The representative who was assisting me was so kind. He treated me as if I were his loving grandmother. He was helpful, reassuring, calming towards me and he helped me locate the info needed to return my package. I go to that store often, every time the employees are professional, kind. I highly recommend this store to anyone read more

I love this UPS location. All the employees are always very helpful and friendly. Corina is the best , she's very efficient and always very friendly and helpful. She has notarized several documents for me and today she showed me how to scan and email a document through my email as a pdf . ( this is new to me) she could have easily charged me to do at the store but she took the time to walk me through the steps. I truly appreciated her for doing that. read more

I went here to drop off an Amazon return. I packed the item back into the original box in came in and sealed it up. The item was not packaged in another box, originally. The gentleman that helped me said I NEED to buy a bag prior to shipping and that I should look at the instructions and proceeded to walk away. I asked why I needed to purchase a bag and he just ignored me! Customer service by far by that guy was the WORST. I could not even return my item! read more

I've been coming here for many many years and it's sad to say that I had to leave this review. Whoever they hired recently, young female, is extremely rude and unprofessional, but seems like she doesn't really like her job and has no experience in customer service. I came in to drop off a package. She was talking to her friend. She stuck out the scanner, and didn't greet me, didn't even acknowledge that I was standing there and expected me to just scan my package. She continued to talk to her friend while she scanned my package and handed me a receipt. Did not say one word to me. Don't know if she was having a bad day or if her rude behavior is just her normal. I've heard similar things from other people about the same employee, and now I experienced it for myself. The manager here is awesome and the other guys are always helpful and nice. But this girl should not work in customer service. read more
