When I'm in the area (I usually go to the NEX UPS Store), I take my Amazon or Revolve returns here. The service is fast and efficient. The only real problem is the parking. Sometimes I score a stall right in front and other times I can't find a stall nearby. In other words, he knows his stuff and isn't one of those grumpy people that hate their jobs. I didn't see anything I didn't like about this place. In fact they had it all in my book. Computer to surf the internet, copy machine to do both color and black and white. A whole rack of greeting cards for your loved ones. Packing supplies and workstation. They even have mailboxes. The coolest thing about that is, they will text you when you receive mail any mail so you don't have to go down for nothing just to check if you do or not. Now that is awesome service. I have been using this UPS Store for over a year. I have a mailbox here, and I have my business cards and posters printed here. Not only is the printing quality exceptional, the pricing is very affordable. I also have been extremely happy with the customer service that I've been shown by Matt, one of the store owners.. Matt is the type of person who will answer the phone 15 minutes before the store actually opens. He's very interested in taking care of his customers, and he does an exceptional job. Sure wish I knew where everyone is parking? The picture with the 3 OPEN PARKING SPACES IN FRONT OF THE STORE seems extremely unusual to me. I live less than 5 min. Down the road and have NEVER seen open parking spaces like that on Kapahulu since the 80's when Jeramy Harris changed the middle lane. I use this location quite often even though it is in a busy part of town. I have to drop off a lot of UPS packages that are already labeled. I just need a receipt to take home as proof of sending. I often park in the parking meter stall right in front of the store on Kapahulu. I pop in and submit my package and get a receipt without having to pay the meter. They have closed earlier than advertised hours so you may want to call to ensure they are open. read more

Called to ask about certain services offered and prices to ensure I don't drive there for nothing. Lady answers and gives annoyed sigh before answering, also clear that I'm bothering her by asking her to do her job and provide info while she's at work answering paying customer questions. Package sent via UPS from one UPS Store to another because I am here temporarily. Nobody said anything about a $25!!!!!!! fee to pick up one small package. I get charging a small fee maybe ($5 reasonable, $10 gouging but still sane, $25 is extortion) but given that this was sent from a UPS store to another UPS store via UPS, the pickup should be included. This fee makes UPS completely cost ineffective and I will not be using them again. read more

I have experienced fantastic service whenever I return Amazon items. Follow the Amazon instructions to return the item without printing a label, and Amazon will email you a barcode that can be scanned in the store in a second. I live much closer to the Makaloa UPS store, but I happily drive to Kapahulu for the great service. Today I returned two items and was literally in and out of the UPS store in about 45 seconds. Not sure about other customers' experience, but I found the owner to be polite and efficient. read more

The staff that helped me today were so helpful and fast. They helped me print my label that I forgot at him and package everything up and I was out the door in less than a couple minutes. The service at the location by Don Q is terrible so I started driving an extra 1.5 miles to come to this one. I had a small printing project but needed a printer and some designing help. After seeing recent TV ads about the "Every....ing" services offered at UPS stores I walked into my local Kapahulu neighborhood UPS store. I was so fortunate to meet Josh. After I explained what I had in mind he offered to help me design and put my ideas on paper with the use of his Photoshop design software. Josh spent a good deal of time with me over a couple of visits and was extremely patient as I decided on font, size, and colors. I sent a return package to GoPro on 08/09/21. It's September 1st and it's still has not gotten to GoPro HQ. I went in today for assistance and none of the 3 ladies could give me a good answer and one at the cash register bounced mid conversation to the back. The owner was helpful a time I went before but all the staff since have not been helpful. I will drive farther to a better UPS location to ensure my packages arrive where they should. I'm in Hawaii for the week and I picked a coconut off a tree and had heard you can mail them places and that it was normal enough that people won't think much of it. I was proud that I had climbed the tree so I thought hey I'll try mailing it to my girlfriend. The only comment I got was from some other tourists in the elevator with me at my hotel and they were all supportive. Not the case when I got to this UPS. The first dude I talked to was friendly enough and asked if I had gotten it checked by agriculture. I hadn't, so I couldn't mail it. no big deal. However there was a dude in the corner laughing at me the whole time that told me I was stupid for trying and that I should have just told him I had gotten it checked even though I hadn't. Another lady started arguing with him and said I'd end up having to pay a fine. I was really uncomfortable and walked out after thanking the first dude. However when I decided to walk back in and ask how to go about getting it inspected, this dude proceeded to ask me if I was high. I told him to shut up and leave me be and the lady yelled at me to get out and not come back even though I was already on my way out. This guy then comes out and starts yelling at me all kinds of threats and profanity and that he'd "rape my fingers." I was already a good distance from the store but he followed me, got in my space and told me he'd mess me up if I talked to him that way again. Even after I said I was done, he kept approaching. As he walked back in, my brother heard him say he'd had a long day. Not an excuse. I was really freaked out and that kind of behavior should not be condoned. This employee needs to be fired at a bare minimum. I was considering talking to the police but tbh I considered the matter done. Don't go here unless you want to be judged and threatened. read more

Came into the store to get a mailbox for my college daughter & her transgender friend but Matt said he had a weird feeling after viewing the friend's ID (post hair color/cut). He subsequently denied them because he's got a problem with transgender ppl. There are stores nearby and I'd recommend any but his. Update: Talked with authorities, Matt never called. He previously stated he denied two college students a UPS box because he didn't like the living arrangements but also said "I am not looking to pry into anybodies personal business".
